I cannot speak highly enough of Jim and his team-- they do wonderful, meticulous work, and are amazingly fine to work with. Jim and his team just completed their portion of the work on a bathroom remodel-- only the installation of glass by a craftsman Jim recommended remains. Jim worked carefully with my husband to understand his desires and to help him refine them. His bid and timeline were reliable, and throughout the process he and his team communicated frequently and clearly. All of his recommended suppliers of materials and fixtures were rock solid. I am too aware of contractors who start a job and then disappear. Jim and his team were on our comprehensive but small job continuously with only a break for the Thanksgiving holiday, and finished expeditiously. Jim tells me that on larger jobs he does more subcontracting, which can lead to availability delays we did not experience-- but I feel confident that when that happens he communicates well, and takes no unnecessary time. At every stage of the deconstruction and construction I was struck by the quality and craft of the work being done. Everything was clean and finished, from underflowing to plumbing to trimming the marble tiling to fit it to the space to the grouting. Every day the team cleared up as much as possible-- and when the job was finished Jim swept out the garage that had been used for workspace and materials storage. This is a pretty small home, and we have two cats we weren't always successful in securing in the basement before the team arrived. The team not only took care for our cats' safety when one was outside the basement, but were as pleasant to have working and moving in the house as anyone could be. They were quiet, always courteous, and helpfully communicative and consultive. All About Bathrooms recently remodeled our primary bathroom. They did an excellent job! Jim gave us a reasonable quote, and we shopped around to verify that. Our project was rather unique in that we were moving a bathtub and a shower to different locations, and we were removing a very large window and replacing it with a much smaller one. The window replacement involved exterior trim and painting, which was done very well. The All About Bathrooms' tradespeople were outstanding. They were detail-oriented and ensured that they protected the unaffected areas of the remodel and cleaned up after each day. They were always on time or early. Most of the challenges with the project came due to supply chain issues. One of the best parts about All About Bathrooms is that you're not limited to the products they sell (no markup). They don't sell any. You pick out and purchase all of your materials like the tile, fixtures, etc. We got a quote from a contractor who does a lot of radio advertising emphasizing how they do things correctly, which is kind of the name of their company. We found the selection to be unreasonably limited. They literally had a single bathtub style that would fit in our design. And the salesperson said, "here's your bathtub." And it was ugly. All About Bathrooms has a vendor list, most of which will give you a discount if you let them know who you're working with All About Bathrooms. We used some of those vendors. We used Home Depot, and we used Floor and Decor. Most of the project was completed on time. The late items were not All About Bathrooms' fault. We are very happy with the outcome and have already contracted all about bathrooms to begin a second project in our house. read more

At one end of the scale, we had the high-pressure salesman who spent 3 hours at our house, who finally offered to cut 20% off his price if we signed right then and there.
