    Glass tile backsplash
    Mark E.

We hired Dan to tile our new main bathroom shower and vanity backsplash. He was very responsive and was able to tile the shower pretty quickly after we called. Dan is absolutely a tile master--he is very precise and is clearly a perfectionist, and it shows in his work. The final result is absolutely gorgeous. He's also very easy to work with, always on time and proactively communicates his arrival time. If you are looking for a top notch tile project completed by a total professional, I highly recommend Dan and Mile High Master Tile.

    Before

Not only is Dan a true craftsman, he is responsive, communicative, fair and very pleasant to work with. He did an amazing job installing our heavy beam mantle and ledger stone on our fireplace. The end result was exactly what I'd hoped for and has completely transformed our family room. Couldn't be happier. He was diligent about protecting g our floors and walls and did a nice job at clean up. I recommend Dan without hesitation and he will be the first call I make when I'm ready for my next project.

We had some flooding which required an unplanned need to renovate our main bathroom. We found Dan on Yelp. From the fist minutes we met to review the work to be done, my wife and I had a good feeling about Dan. We were not disappointed. My wife had a vision and with Dan's guidance, the bathroom came out looking better than we could have imagined. Beyond the high quality workmanship, Dan and his team are trustworthy. I would characterize his approach and style as "old school".....your word is your bond and you get honest pay for honest work. We highly recommend Mile High Master Tile.

We had a great experience with Dan and his team when we hired them to tile our bathroom floor and rebuild our shower. Dan was very easy to work with, and went above and beyond to make our bathroom look great. He and his crew were friendly and the craftsmanship was fantastic, top notch quality. Will definitely hire again for our next project.

Dan with Mile High Master Tile did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do. He is a little bit high but well worth it. Everything turned out exactly as I asked for it to. I would recommend Dan to anyone. It was a small project done right and done on time. Thank you, Dan.

Dan and his crew did an outstanding job renovating our master & guest bathrooms. Estimate was spot on, we actually went a bit over with additions like sliding barn door & heated floor. His crew cleaned up daily and partner contractors did great job w-electrical & plumbing. I would highly recommend Dan for future remodel projects!

Dan and his crew are artists and craftsmen. They installed tile in a number of rooms to exacting requirements, worked around other subs with grace, and just did great work. From underfloor heating coils to a dog wash, everything got finished professionally and at fair rates. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and fair tile crew!

We hired Dan to do a tile job for us in Greenwood Village. I will say that up front his prices were fair BUT and there is a big but. His first upcharge came when he asked for more money for the kitchen backsplash. His reasoning was that he assumed the backsplash was a manufactured brick and not an actual brick veneer. We never discussed manufactured brick. I told him from the beginning it was a brick veneer and his proposal says "brick veneer" on it. We ended up paying him extra for this even though that was his mistake. But that's not the worst of it. When I asked when he'd be returning to the job he responded with an updated proposal with increased pricing for all remaining scope of work. When I asked him why the increase, his response was that all his prices are going up and he said because "He's the boss", see attached text communication. I'd steer clear of this company, there are many more reputable contractors out there who will honor their prices.

I would not recommend this company…read more I chose them because the scope I discussed with the account manager included replacing my flooring and installing a new vanity I had already purchased. I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

We vetted several companies and decided to go with ASA Flooring for several reasons: 1) Responsiveness. Bryan was quick to get back to my inquiry and was at the house to assess the project within a day. 2) Knowledgeable. Our refrigerator had leaked and warped several boards. Bryan explained the pros and cons of board replacement vs letting the boards dry out. We went with the latter and saved money. We had another challenge in the fact that we did not have two rooms refinished which meant seamless color matching. Alfredo was an artist and had an eye for selecting the perfect match. Although the final decision was ours, his experience was a definite help. 3) Efficient. The whole process from start to finish only took three days. We used the opportunity for a little vacation in the mountains and came home to beautiful floors! 4) Professional. Kevin, the project manager, came the weekend before to assess the job site and answer any questions. Alberto hung plastic and taped off the areas to reduce dust and vacuumed any remaining dust before the final coat. It was nearly dust free! 5) Follow up: Kevin did the final walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied. I'd highly recommend ASA Flooring for your next hardwood floor project!

As one of the other reviewers said, these guys use subcontractors of varying quality. They had to…read morerefinish the floor 3 times because the owner insisted on sending the same crew back each time (which makes sense if using a fixed-price sub - keeps their profit intact). I communicated my concerns professionally (and almost apologetically) with the owner as we went, but I'm not sure that any of them were addressed directly with the crew - rather they were just given basic instructions at the start of each day to fix the problems from the last go 'round. I'll give them credit for trying to make it right, and the floor looks a lot better than it did when they started, but it still wasn't 100% at the end and they didn't want to listen to any more complaints. A list of items specific issues that as far as I can tell were never communicated back to the crew: - The first thing the crew leader did was take a dump in my bathroom, without asking, and made this a daily ritual. - They didn't bother to cover anything up before sanding - no sheathing between rooms, no covers over the vents - so dust was everywhere in the house. At least I had the good sense to turn off the HVAC, but still had to change the air filters several times before they finished the job. - They sanded/buffed the carpet, trashing it where the carpet meets the hardwood. - Stain was applied in some places across grain / boards rather than same direction leading to stripes (1st attempt), and inconsistently leading to dark splotches (2nd attempt). - They used my ladder (from the garage) without asking. - They left gobs of topcoat around trim and puddling elsewhere. - They did not take the time to use filler properly after the second attempt - there are dark spots around nails, knots, and where sanding was rough. - Hand sanding was quite rough in several areas leading to dark stain, especially around trim, cabinets, toilet, etc. And they didn't thoroughly clean or screen before coating in several places, leading to dirt and debris in the finish. - Stain spatter was left on the wall from brush work and flinging wet towels. The sinks were a left an absolute mess. - There was no real cleanup to speak of and patches of grass are dead in the front yard where they cleaned stain off their tools and equipment. - The "suicide cord" they were using to connect to 240V was a fire and safety hazard. After attempting to share my last round of concerns (not asking for them to redo it again but rather just trying to share some of the issues for future improvement), Anthony told me to stop looking so closely and asked, "You gonna blast us on the internet?" indicating his level of concern. For a website that touts their high level of professionalism and reputation, the crew did not reflect it. If I wasn't a professional contractor myself, then this might have been a traumatic experience. And if I knew the crew and could have hired them directly, then I would have undoubtedly paid half as much... but then they might not have redone it 3 times (especially because I would have kicked them out after the second attempt). I never asked for a discount, and one was certainly never offered. I'm leaving 2 stars because on Yelp that means it "could've been better" but for the price I paid to go with the "pros" I regret not giving one of the other bidders a chance.
