Aaron has a wide skill set. He did a railing project for us, replacing the newel post, handrails, & balusters as well as refinishing the stringers. The new balusters are iron and square and the new wood is white oak which is a very hard wood. We're very happy with the end result. Aaron paid close attention to detail at every step of the project, was on time every day, did the setup and cleanup well, and also paid attention to safety. To boot, he's a nice, friendly guy as is his nephew Jayden who assisted on the last day of the project. Highly recommend. read more

This was not a great experience. Initially, I contacted Aaron, the owner, to replace a basement shower door, after the - likely original - shower stall door started to come off its framing, before my neighborhood handyman (who charges less than half of Aaron's day rate) fixed it. I regret that I didn't simply leave the situation there, keep my old shower stall door/frame kit, and save $1K. However, at the time (June 2024), I had high hopes that Aaron could become my general contractor, for me to eventually hire to renovate my kitchen & bathrooms upstairs. So I hired him to test him, with 5 specific projects: 1) Basement Shower Stall Door/Frame: - Given I was a new homeowner, I had no idea what I was doing, told him as much, and asked for his help. I measured the shower stall, told him some ideas of that for which I was looking, and - given he's a General Contractor, who told me he's originally from New Jersey, and was hired to renovate an entire house in Mill Valley, CA (posh NorCal) during the pandemic, I mistakenly trusted him. He told me to find shower stall kits on HomeDepot.com, have it delivered to the store, then he'd pick it up at the store in his truck, and remove my old shower stall door/frame. What he failed to do was verify the kit I sent him - before ordering - matched the measurements, after I specifically asked for his guidance/help, and he offered to help me. Then - worse yet - he was unethical, unlike my neighborhood handyman, as he never told me during the install that it was the wrong measurement / size, for that shower, installed it anyway, removed my old shower door/frame/kit, without discussing this with me, told me to get out of his way and go upstairs and "trust him," then I realized after he left that it was the wrong size. Worse yet? He removed the tile, grout, caulk, and new paint, and when I contacted him to fix it in June 2024 - before my July 2024 Breast Cancer Diagnosis, hence the delay - he never replied to come fix it. 2) Crawl Space Access Door: - Same goes for this. He told me he has a jigsaw, so he could fix the wood frame and install the door properly around it, that I'd already purchased through my HVAC contractor, only to leave the wood in piece meal around it, allowing bugs to enter my home, which was the entire point of his work. Then he sloppily sprayed fire foam around it, and it looks significantly worse than if I'd just hired my neighborhood handyman with a day rate less than half of Aaron's to do it, in the first place, who I now need to hire to fix it, including creating a wooden frame with a proper fit, flush screws, and a cement bottom, to match the wall. My handyman quoted me $187.50 for 1.5-hours for this specific project. 3) Bedroom Vent: - When my HVAC technician moved one of the vents in my primary bedroom, the base board needed to be patched, as well as the carpet. Aaron bought the wrong base board at the wrong Home Improvement shop, told me that was the only option, only for my neighborhood handyman to tell me - yet again - that Aaron was wrong/lied to me, and that my current baseboard is still replaceable with an exact match, so yet again, I need to hire my neighborhood handyman to fix Aaron's work. 4) Kitchen Calendar Wall Hook: - I know this was simple, but while he was here, I thought he could help me make this more secure, but - yet again - my neighborhood handyman had to re-do it. 5) Flag Anchor Front Porch: - Yet again this was done with the wrong hardware, that was not aesthetically pleasing, so my neighborhood handyman re-did it. Overall, it's not just the fact that Aaron's rate was near double my neighborhood handyman, it's not just the fact that he made numerous mistakes, after reassuring me I could trust him, as I told him these were test projects for bigger scale work, it's the fact of how Aaron handled the mistakes, by ignoring me, hiding the shower door mistake, and refusing to fix the mistakes, over 1-year later. Whereas, my neighborhood handyman has made mistakes before, and he owns up to them, and fixes them without any issues. We're all human. :) read more

Highly recommend Jersey's Remodeling. Aaron handled baseboard installation, door installation, and painting for us, and the results were top-notch across the board. Everything fits perfectly, looks clean, and was done with real attention to detail. What stood out most was how straightforward he was to work with. He gave us an honest assessment up front, laid out what to expect, and then followed through on all of it. No runaround, no excuses -- just solid communication and quality craftsmanship. It's rare to find a contractor who actually delivers on what they promise, and he absolutely did. We'd call him again for the next project. read more

Aaron, Jayden and Ross did a great job with my kitchen remodel, great room/kitchen painting, and ceiling fan replacement. I consulted w Aaron in 2024 but ended up needing to push my project back for personal reasons. He was very understanding of my situation and flexible in terms of fitting me on the schedule. Aaron's personality makes him very easy to work with which is really important when someone is in your home for a length of time. His estimate as to the length of the project was spot on and quite reasonable. I am very happy with the quality of their work as well. My kitchen is beautiful! read more

We needed a bathroom demoed, subfloor replaced, tile vanity etc installed. Jersey did this for us in a high quality, efficient, low mess, reliable way. We feel like we got good value for the money. We were happy with his breadth of skills. We were comfortable having him in the house We are glad we hired him. We'd use him again. read more

Aaron remodeled our primary bathroom for us. After consulting with several contractors, we chose Aaron for his price transparency, no BS attitude, and his ideas. He was the only contractor to suggest other changes we could do in the bathroom (which added big impact in the end). I also loved that he did all the work himself instead of subcontracting to a different team. He was fast, efficient, and clean. We've had other work done in our house and everything usually gets covered in dust. He went the extra mile to prevent this mess by covering our furniture and sealing off his workspace. His attention to detail is great. Not only does everything look great from afar, but it looks beautiful up close. (I cannot say the same about work we had done in our basement). He even fixed a broken hose bib for us, saving us hundreds of dollars spent on a separate plumber. I would 100% hire him for other projects in our house. You won't be disappointed! Thank you for our beautiful bathroom! read more

We recently moved into a house and there was quite a few projects that needed to get done. Some of the projects I could handle but others I needed to call in an expert. Aaron was very responsive to the initial project ask, quoted a fair price, and then delivered! I would highly recommend. read more

I needed another front door lock installed quickly and Aaron was excellent. He showed up the next day, was quick, cleaned up after himself, and very friendly. I would happily hire him again for things around the house and definitely recommend him to anyone in the Denver area! read more

Aaron is amazing! He does all the work himself, and knows how to do it all EXCELLENTLY! I was so anxious about getting a contractor to do repairs/remodeling when my bathroom and closet flooded, since I know nothing about construction or water damage. He put my mind completely at rest. His pricing is fair and transparent, and his estimates are accurate. He is highly available and reliable, and his workmanship is impeccable. Also, he can do plumbing AND electric too! No need to hire additional people for those parts. He even noticed when fixing my bathroom that I had a low flow issue in the rest of the house, and he fixed that too! Saved me at least $1,000 in plumbing bills . Hire Aaron :) read more

Aaron did a great job replacing interior doors, casing, and also painting several rooms in our home. He has the expertise to tackle the hidden problems that always seem to come with construction. Aaron is an amazing problem solver. I had a tricky situation with a door, and it took him no time at all to figure it out. He communicated incredibly well, from my first inquiry thru Yelp till the job was done. His pricing was more than fair. I could not ask for better service, and he'll be the first and only call I make next time I need something done at my house. read more

Aaron is such a pleasure to work with! He's very knowledgeable, works quickly, and has great pricing -- I highly recommend. Thanks, Aaron!

Super quick to respond and help! Look forward to working with Aaron again in the future!!

Aaron is the founder and sole owner of Jerseys Remodeling, and let me impress upon you, he is a wonder! Unlike other contractors who give you a bid based on 2 or 3 times what it costs them in labor for a "crew" whose experience varies, Aaron does the work himself. He does all his work expertly and quickly and at very reasonable rates. He single handedly transformed our older town home into a modern gem: New LED overhead lighting on three floors, all new electrical switches and outlets, 4 new faucets, built a custom wet bar from scratch with a custom granite top, made custom solid oak cabinet fronts in two bathrooms, and a custom solid oak buffet, installed a new toilet and a new soaking tub in the master bath, plus a dozen other projects we added onto our list along the way, including mounting a 75" TV on the wall without wiring showing! Aaron took up all these challenges in stride and did beautiful work on every single project we asked him to do. We were extremely fortunate to have discovered him and are hoping to work with him soon on another total bathroom remodel. Thanks Aaron, Carl & Alice Freeman read more

We were turning a kids playroom into a home office and the entry way was needing to be modified from an open 8 foot tall entry to a closed off entry with a 7 foot tall door. Aaron was absolutely fantastic, very responsive with high quality work. We will be keeping Aaron's number in case we have any projects in the future, he will be our go-to guy. I would highly recommend Aaron for any home remodeling project!! read more

Needed the new washer & dryer leveled and the dryer vent hose installed. Home Depot would not do this and told me to get a 'handyman' to do what they couldn't/wouldn't. Aaron said he was booked into the Fall but he came to do the leveling and dryer vent the very next day (after his work week). These tasks were somewhat tricky due to uneven floor and vent behind a cabinet, but he did a perfect level and installed the dryer vent. I am so glad I called him to do the finishing work of appliance install. Thank you! read more
