They were entering under a side gate and we were hoping to get wood supplies to block their entrance. Of course, at Home Depot there is a large selection of wood beams which is a good thing from an option standpoint but not great of you're new to wood products. We asked a Home Depot employee if there was someone on his team that was an expert in wood and could give us advice. Unfortunately, that expert was not in at the time. A customer happen to be pushing a huge cart was walking by on his way to checkout and overheard us talking to the employee and said that he could help. We asked him if he knew anything about wood and he said he did. He proceeded to explain in great detail the differences in the wood we were considering and laid out the best options given our project. We joked that he knew so much about wood types, and we then found out he owned a deck and fence business. We were really impressed with Kevin. He showed that he was not only knowledgeable but simply a good person because he was generous enough to help us even though we weren't looking to install a deck or fence. I don't like using the term "know it all", but when someone doesn't want to listen to the customer, that's what I call it. Instead he chose to use weedblock, which has HOLES in it. I did try reaching out to Viktar first. He read my message but didn't answer. So if he is an ethical person, he will come back and do what I'd asked him to do in the first place, and not have waited until I give this review. I would post more pictures of the weeds and grass growing through the holes, but I'm being kept busy pulling them myself.
