All I can say is you'll regret it if you don't call him. He's a very polite and extremely competent carpenter who enjoys his work. He was the first bid I received after using Yelp Projects...Chat GPT recommended him! What does that tell ya? His bid was better than anyone else. Shows up on time ready to do his thing and he is really good about cleaning up after himself! Really enjoyed having him here and so so happy with the quality of his work! I'll add a pic of before and after... read more

I hired Yury in May 2024 to fix my Front Door, after a contractor damaged it, trying to open it while locked, not listening to me, when he left to go get parts, and I locked it while he was gone for a few hours. I was very nervous, because I was told that doors are very difficult to fix, and I learned this, by creating a project on Yelp, then interacting with multiple carpenters. I was beginning to get nervous, because I obviously couldn't leave my house or sleep with a broken front door! Luckily, I found Yury! Yury responded to my Yelp project, had 5 stars!, provided me with an estimate, communicated with me promptly via text - to schedule, arrived promptly on time, was friendly, and - even though it took him longer than his original estimate to fix, and I offered to compensate him accordingly - he refused my higher price! Very ethical, dependable, and he performed quality / reliable work. I trust Yury, and will definitely love to hire him again, and refer / recommend him! :-) read more

Master Yury was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was timely, highly skilled, and consistently professional throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, he made everything feel easy--offering excellent design guidance, thoughtful problem-solving, and clear communication at every step. The finished built-in wardrobe is truly beautiful, with craftsmanship that's immediately apparent. It feels solid, intentional, and built to last. On top of all that, his pricing was very fair for the level of quality and care he delivers. I couldn't be happier with the result and would wholeheartedly recommend Master Yury to anyone looking for high-quality, custom work done right. read more

Needed some help aligning cabinets and doors at our place so I reached out to Yury again and he was just as wonderful as last time! Communicative, punctual, friendly and got the job done in record time. Excellent value and great guy :) read more

Master Yury fixed a sliding cabinet in our kitchen. He did an excellent job in a short amount of time. He charged an amount that candidly was too little. He could have charged more and I would still give him an excellent review. I look forward to using Yury again. read more

Yury is phenomenal! We have a 1906 home and a friend managed to pull the top newel post from the wall. There was a misunderstanding between my brother and I about who would be there for the appointment so Yury had to wait for one of us to get home to meet him. He was very gracious about the mixup and having to wait. He proceeded to repair the post so it is better than new- very securely anchored. You can't even tell it was repaired. He also cleaned up everything before he left. His fee was also the lowest quoted. 20/10 recommend. read more

He was professional, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the project. His pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work he delivered. We're extremely happy with the result and would highly recommend Yuri to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy carpenter. read more

I almost forgot to write a review for Yury! Shame on me. We moved into a new house this year and the front door has seen better days. There was work that needed to be done, though I was unclear if a new door needed to be installed or not. The deadbolt was in rough shape and the bottom lock had seen better days. I'm obsessed with the Request a Quote feature on Yelp. I submitted a request and within minutes I had multiple handymen bidding on my business. Master Yury had great reviews and was available the same day. Yury worked efficiently and precisely for a little over an hour. Rigorously testing the door after chipping away at the siding. In no time, he turned our door from a pain in the butt to working good as new. For something like this, he could've quoted me so much more. Very reasonably priced I ended up giving him something extra for his professionalism and efficiency. Totally recommending Master Yury for all your handymen needs! read more

He was great and have a few more things I plan on having him do. Arrives on time, has the tools and a pleasure to talk to

Talk about someone who knows what they're doing! I messaged Yuri for a quote to fix my cabinet that was coming off the wall. He responded within minutes with his availability (on a Sunday, no less) and price estimate. He showed up on time, fixed the cabinet better than it was when it was originally installed, and was cleaned up and finished in under an hour. 10/10 recommend Yuri. He is so nice and an excellent carpenter. read more

Yury did great work on our 2 projects. The first was a rocking chair that need to be sanded, stained & coated with poly. We plan on using the rocker outside 90% of the time, and Yury did a great job on it. This was the first thing to get done & we're very happy with the result. The second was an antique jewelry box from my wife's mom. It also need to be sanded, then stained an antique white & then finished with a poly. Yury removed everything on the large jewelry box, then sanded & stained it. The box came out exactly how my wife wanted it. Yury was very quick to reply & provided the 1st & best quote out of all that I contacted. Very happy with the results & Yury was a very nice guy to work with. If you want to refresh an heirloom, or redo any old furniture, then Yury is your man to do the job right! read more

Yury was very prompt, returned our call right away and showed up as promised to give us a quote. He texted the day before to confirm and was on time for the appointment. Our job was difficult. The entry around the front door was weathered and needed some serious love. He was patient as we tried to match the stain color and ultimately had to go with paint, but he did a great job. Very meticulous. His bid was reasonable for the work involved. Highly recommend and would definitely use in the future. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Yury. He is amazing at what he does. He shows up on time, strong communication, schedules the job soon after seeing the job site, very hard worker, and ensures that every detail is done right. He completed the installation of my upper cabinets and ensured every last detail was precise. I cannot recommend him enough- he's wonderful!! read more

I was gifted a credenza for my living room. It's a lovely piece but required assembly. I actually have some experience in carpentry but this was past my area of expertise. I reached out on Yelp and Master Yury was the first response. He was communicative and quoted me a reasonable price. He scheduled me within a few days and arrived a few minutes earlier than quoted! He completed the project efficiently and I asked for a quote on another small project. He was actually able to complete it that evening! He was kind, quick, responsive respectful of the property and very capable! I will be calling him for many projects around my little old house. Thank you!! read more

Very prompt and capable. High quality work at a fair price. He completed all of the repairs on my check list.

Yury not did a wonderful job with repairing a master bedroom cabinet that was badly warped (it could no longer hold the drawers that were designed to fit in the cabinet), he also charged less than his original estimate because it didn't take as long as he had originally estimated. He did a quality job, was friendly, and showed integrity. I would not hesitate to use him again if needed, and would highly recommend him to others! read more

Yury was responsive to my initial request, was clear about pricing, provided a reasonable appointment time, and showed up to resolve my cabinetry issue with quality and thoroughness. A built-in shelving unit in my condo was sagging from a heavy load of books. The bowing prefabricated shelf needed to be straightened, reinforced, patched at the joints and edges, and painted with a color match paint I provided. He worked quickly, sent photos from several angles of the completed work, and offered to provide a future fix if the shelving did not hold up. I am grateful for this find on Yelp, and Yury's specific expertise around cabinetry and woodwork. read more

Yury is a master handyperson. I needed a wire trellis for my 40+year-old wisteria installed on a brick wall, and Yury made sure he knew exactly where to align the fasteners and wires. Yury did a great job! He came to horrible downtown Denver where our office is located in a historical landmark to install an interior door which the frame and door had to be routed before being installed. I asked him to find hardware that was similar to the antique door knobs we currently have and he was spot on. He also replaced some grody wood under the kitchen sink and replaced some wood trim. He is very pleasant to work with, he was efficient, and his pricing was incredibly inexpensive in my opinion. I wholeheartedly recommend Master Yury which is why I've asked him to come back to help us hang some pictures due to the nature of the walls in this old building and am contemplating having him do some closet work in my home. read more
