I asked for 2 pantry shelves to be installed, I supplied all wood pieces (precut to measurements). I'm really tall plus we needed the extra space. Install was quick. And Yury even shaped the support bars to match the curve the shelves had below. I was surprised at this attention to detail. I painted the shelves white as Yury went to work on the main project. I had 2 doors that opened inward on each room and it was a waste of space. Yury took the doorframes down to the studs then swapped the direction and reattached the door. What a big job. The amount of work and detail he put in to make sure everything was sealed and looked untouched was incredible. I highly recommend him to anyone. Cannot beat the price. He's so knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about Yury. We have been remodeling our house for years now and it's been difficult to find competent people where I don't have to redo their work. Yury is the opposite, he delivers above and beyond and I learn new things by watching him. I built my own craftsman lodge style house outside Seattle some years ago and I've been doing various sorts of home construction on and off for 50 years now. Yury is one of the *very few* people I can trust that I don't need to watch and I can trust him to do a great job and make decisions about details - such as surprising me today with putting a *double* return on a baseboard end rather than replacing the baseboard as I would have done. He just gets the job done and gets it done right - he exceeds my high expectations. We have asked Yury to come to the house and fix all the doors and replace all the trim in our basement while we are away. I have met only one other person in the Denver area I would trust this way and that's our tile artist. Yury does what he is asked to do, he listens, he has great suggestions. I am confident that if Yury says he will do something, the work will be excellent. If we had found Yury years ago I'm sure our house remodeling project would have been done years ago. While Yury has been here the painters have also been working, and he works around them easily and simply works things out. I had the opportunity to work with the best carpenter/tradecraft master once again today; this time to add additional self-built wine racks to expand the wine cellar Yury created last year. This took substantial planning and creativity because the available space was essentially in a long closeted area outside the original cellar. As I've mentioned in the past, Yury's craftsmanship was superb. He turned a pretty vague project into a fully realized expansion in a functional way which is better than what I'd imagined. Yury also figured out a creative solution for an interlinked system of panels in the master bedroom which swing in an 180 degree arc, allowing privacy at night while providing excellent, open light in during the day. Yury is the only person I would trust to handle projects which call for intelligent design and fabrication as well as meticulous workmanship.
