He was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and communicated so well throughout the entire process. This was our first time doing a project this large, and there were so many factors to address. I could not imagine going through that without someone like Mike to assist and answer all of our questions to get the right outcome. Right outcome is exactly what we got, as our kitchen came out PERFECT! Understand we had gone to both of the big box stores and met with a couple other independent companies for quotes, but at the end of the day Kingdom provided the best quality for the price, design work that met all of our needs, installation that was done on time with incredible craftsmanship, and support throughout the entirety of the process. We also want to do a shout out to Vanessa as well who added some fantastic ideas as we went through the design process, and she was on site with Mike as we talked through the final steps in getting exactly what we needed. Josh is the absolute best of the best. A true craftsman with the utmost integrity. I can…read morewhole-heartedly recommend him which is hard to say about many contractors. I originally hired Josh years ago for a very small job which he humbly accepted in between his other large jobs (in hindsight he was far overqualified). I knew he would be our person for any future projects. When it came time for cabinetry for our basement finish, I knew Josh was who we would use. To cover my bases, I explored a couple other quotes. Here's the nutshell on that. While Josh's pricing was at first glance (slightly) on the higher side than other quotes, the value easily exceeded the other quotes we got. One was slightly less but the cabinets would have to be painted after install (they didn't provide painting) whereas Josh follows best practices and all cabinets were expertly painted prior to install. Josh is also able to do just about anything you can dream of. We did a custom wardrobe-style storage closet with paneling to match an adjacent wall and the work he did seamlessly integrates with the work of our basement carpenter. Moreover, when some things went south with our project and we had to have the floors redone, Josh really saved us. We no longer trusted our original carpenter and Josh helped fix trim work that had been damaged in the floor debacle process. As you can see, I really can't say enough good things about Josh and his skills. The bonus to all of this is he is a kind, genuine person who is genuinely wonderful to be around. Don't be surprised if it feels as comfortable having him in your home as it does a long-time friend. Show Josh respect and kindness and he will return it tenfold and more.

Colorado Kitchen Designs were responsible for the design and Tiny's Granite Works did the installation. We are a retired couple who purchased a condo in Denver to be closer to our grandchildren. We live in Chicago and were not in Denver while the work was being completed. We have heard many stories about shoddy construction, missed target dates, lack of communication, and cost overruns with the homeowners saying "never again". Our experience was just the opposite. We received frequent updates and calls where small construction options were available and photos as construction progressed. Both Christine and Tiny were easy to work with and always available when we called. The crews that completed the work left the premises spotless. There were two items that stand out the most with us. While on vacation in AZ we found a porcelain kitchen counter product which is new to the market. Our search to find the product in CO proved to be negative. We were planning to ship the product in from CA until Christine sent us a photo of the same product that she happened to see in Denver while helping another customer. It certainly made us feel like we were her most important customer. The second item was the grout for the backsplash was not what we had chosen and a couple of the small glass tiles had tiny cracks. We called to ask about this and the next day two of Tiny's workers rang our bell and worked all day to make sure we were satisfied. There were no question asked or extra invoices I think both these issues speak well of who we were fortunate enough find and hire to perform the work on the kitchen. It was a wonderful exciting experience for us. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I liked the fact that my payment through Showplace covered the general contractor, tile contractor , paint, floor, cabinets and stone countertops. I felt i had recourse if one of the contractors didn't do their best. Her design acumen was amazing. Tremendous use of space, excellent tradesmen, and Jann's keen eye to ensure that all trades did their best. If it was not, she made sure they did. There were a few calls to contractors to come back and fix or repair. There were a few delays, but these things happen in real life. With any project with lots of moving parts, there are unforeseen problems, or delays.. Factory delays, shipping mistakes, ordering mistakes.... It happens. If you combine these delays with changes we made along the way, deadlines are pushed out.... In the end, the product turned out amazing. Our project was quite large. Removal of a load bearing wall, moving of extensive plumbing and electrical and structural work. Combining of two rooms into 1 large kitchen..... It was several months of work, but the final product is worthy of a magazine. Truly amazing. (In fact we have been asked to have our kitchen be featured in a design magazine photo shoot. ). We gave her a list of wants and needs and we had several renditions of changes to get what we wanted. It was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. The end goal was to deliver a dream kitchen. Goal Attained. The final litmus test Jann used was: " Will this add value to your house" if it was too bold, she would tell you it was not a good choice. ( This was confirmed by a few realtor friends of our) Her contractor Tom Echols is a master carpenter with amazing talent. All permits were passed with ease and the work quality and joinery is top notch. I helped with some of the heavy work, and I could see that he is very thorough. Structural, Electrical and Mechanical , Finish Carpentry.. No Problem.... Jann has a strong personality, she knows her stuff and is not afraid to tell you., she challenged us several times on what we should do vs what we thought we should do. I often pushed back but l I hate to say it, but she was right, everything turned out AMAZING in the truest sense of the word.. I am not a designer, she is. Jann is a high energy dynamo, but she knows her stuff. Our project added 2-3 times cost of the project in home appreciation value.

We invested several tens of thousands of dollars with this company. The hardware we received was not what we selected, and instead of taking ownership of the mistake, they positioned it as though it were our decision. Their proposed solution was simply to provide the hardware we originally chose -- but they refused to address the damage caused to our closet as a result of the incorrect hardware being installed. Jann is quick to initiate projects without meaningful discussion of budget expectations or realistic ballpark figures. We were told "it will be around X thousand for now," only to later receive contracts totaling tens of thousands more. There was no proactive financial transparency. Marissa did not acknowledge or apologize for the issues we encountered, which added to the frustration. When you are making a significant investment in your home, you expect professionalism, communication, and integrity. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
