I had no idea where to start and he was very patient with me. My kitchen is current and looks great now! I referred my contractor to another family member for a kitchen remodel and the contractor advised her to order the kitchen cabinets from the same place I did. He was very impressed with the quality and commented on how easy the cabinets and the island were to install. He said he has been in business a very long time and has worked with many cabinet companies and he was most impressed with my cabinets. I would highly recommend working with this family owned business for cabinets and kitchen designs.

We bought our cabinets at Home Clearance Center, with Marcia Yost as our designer. We are delighted with the results, and Marcia was terrific to work with. When we finally decided to do this after talking about it for years, my wife wanted to get it done before the end of July. An interior designer we were talking with just wasn't as responsive as we wanted. After meeting with Marcia, we decided we didn't need the interior designer. Marcia was extremely prompt and responsive throughout the entire process, producing a 3D computer rendering of our cabinets and island, with price quote, less than a week after our first meeting. I am detail-oriented, and there were a lot of meetings and emails after that to fine-tune the design and specs. Marcia was always very patient and very quick to answer questions or address any issues. We ended up getting Diamond cabinets on the perimeter walls in cherry wood with a dark ("Grizzly") stain, and an island comprised of Showplace cabinets with a smoky blue paint finish. Marcia was very knowledgeable about both brands and their respective features. My wife knew a lot of what she wanted, but she was very taken with some additional options and features that Marcia showed us. Marcia also came up with some design elements we hadn't thought of, and she suggested several improvements on our own design ideas. When it came time for on-site measurements, we met in our home with Marcia and our contractor and walked through specific details, making several final adjustments. Marcia understands cabinet installation, and both at that meeting and later she gave some helpful tips to our contractor, who hadn't previously installed frameless (all access) cabinets. An important measure of how well a business takes care of customers is how they do when something goes awry. There were a few issues with the cabinets as shipped to us by both Diamond and Showplace. Marcia was right on top of it, working with both manufacturers to get the problems taken care of quickly. We felt like she was an advocate on our side, working to make sure we were satisfied. Our remodel was completed on schedule, and we couldn't be happier. We are pleased to be able to wholeheartedly recommend Marcia and Home Clearance Center without reservation. I'll post some pics of our new kitchen.

You won't find more experienced folks to work with. As for the review from Jeanine R., which makes an accusation of theft, I find that shameful. This company employs good people. You're profiling, its slander, and you should not be allowed to post fake news as a review. Park Range deserves all the stars!

Sir Nicholas and I bought a pretty old home (it's over 100 years, barely, but there) and it was…read moreoriginally a one story brick craftsman styled home. Apparently some time in the 70s the owner needed more room because they had a lot of children (13 according to the owners we bought the home from) and so they dug out the basement and made a brand new floor. While this expanded the house by almost double I'm fairly certain there weren't bothersome things like building permits or regulations back them because one of the rooms was dug out of a crawl space and the dirt was simple put behind dry wall. Now I know next to nothing about construction, but I do know dry wall isn't made to hold a lot of water and it certainly isn't very sustainable against water, which happens to find it's way into the dirt under homes on occasion. So, when Nick and I bought this home it was with the concession that the drywall get torn down and replaced with a concrete retaining wall and that is where Park Range Construction comes into this story. Nick and I called multiple construction companies for quotes on this project and the professionalism ranged from people who never showed, showed up and never sent us quotes and people who showed up on time and sent us quotes in a timely manner. Park Range was in this third bucket. And not only were they prompt and polite they also bid this job at the most reasonable price (in comparison to one other company the bid was several thousand dollars less. Yes, thousands.) And not only that they said they could start the soonest and be done the quickest. So we hired them. At the end of the day what we had them do wasn't pretty - it's a concrete wall for crying out loud, so aesthetics aren't worth mentioning but the workers that came everyday were so polite and did a really great job. Not to mention that the downstairs was completely covered in dirt, dust and muck due to all the construction and they cleaned up after it all in a way that left me very impressed. The finished the job in the quoted time for the quoted price and I really don't think you can ask for much more than that. Why not 5 stars then? I think there was a couple of mis-communications around progress and when workers would show up. For example, after pouring concrete you have to let it sit for a day so no one came the day after they poured the concrete. No big deal, but since they were coming at 7, which means I was waking up way early it would have been nice to know I could have slept a little longer that day. And I think a foreman was supposed to do a final walk through with us. One was here when we did a walk through, but he stayed outside rather than coming down with us which wasn't exactly what we thought would happen, but worked out okay anyway. So, neither thing was a big deal, but they did leave me with a little confusion at times throughout the process which can maybe be avoided in the future.

Terrible communication. Crossfire Construction reached out to me regarding an AC repair. They told…read moreme repairing the AC would be too expensive and said a replacement would be more economical. They came out to my condo and removed the old AC unit and left a giant hole in the wall and made no effort to contact me or made any effort to at least cover the hole temporarily. I asked for recommendations for a new unit and they left me on read for two weeks. I finally realized they had blocked my phone number so I tried contacting them on a different phone. I maintained a respectful flow of communication to Crossfire through text only for them to ignore and block me when I asked them questions regarding the AC unit. The main reason for my negative review is simply for their lack of communication. If they didn't want my business or couldn't do the work then they should have simply said that to me. Instead, my tenants had no AC for 3 weeks because I was waiting patiently for Crossfires response. Blocking a customers number after I had paid them money for haphazard work is wild, childish, disrespectful, and close to unethical. Crossfire has good reviews but honestly, they truly missed the mark on this job.

We used Colorado Marble and Granite for our kitchen counter tops (Summer of 2016) and they were so wonderful. Rise' was our salesperson and from the get go she was just the best - and believe me I shopped around for a fabricator quite a while. They were so good in fact that we used them for a kitchen and 2 bath remodel of an investment property the following month. Now the bad news. On Thanksgiving we were doing dishes and the sink fell out of the counter top (see photo). Disturbing but I knew they would make it right. Ann who is the owner called me the following Monday. I had shored up the sink with some makeshift 2x4 supports I made in my garage and fixed the destroyed plumbing as best I could by then so we could get through the weekend. I told Ann that I knew they were busy with the holidays so would be patient until they could free up time to come re install our sink. I even told her I was not upset about out broken china. She promised to call me back to schedule but never did. After Christmas I called her again and she said "i thought you fixed it yourself." After explaining to her again that my makeshift repair was temporary at best she told me she would schedule something and call me the next day. A week later I had not received a call so I tried to reach out to Rise' by phone. She sounded very surprised and apologized, saying she would speak to Ann and call me back, which she never did. So now 47 days later I am giving up on them. Unbelievable as it sounds it is a true story. I have hired a contractor to repair the sink and I will forward his invoice to Colorado Marble but I have to assume they won't reimburse me. I guess the next should be taking the case to the BBB then contacting all the granite companies that have them as a recommended vendor and letting them know what happened. Beware of this company. They do not back up their workmanship. Like I said a sad story we really thought this company was legit.
