I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

I can't say enough good things about Gary and his customer service, he was able to do the in-home estimate and measurements very quickly and came on a Sunday so we could talk about our carpet options. Before having Gary and Carpet Mart come over to do the estimate, I had another local carpet company come and do an in-home estimate, and while their representative was super nice, I wanted to have other options and wanted to be able to feel some nylon carpet options (the other company did not show me ANY nylon options! As someone completely new to the idea of buying carpet, I was appalled to find out from Google after my very lengthy appointment with the other company that nylon can be a better choice for durability). Anywho - Gary brought over the specific brand nylon carpet samples I had found from some internet searches plus a TON of other similar options - both in nylon and polyester (for a variety of textures, softness levels, and price). Gary was always very upfront with pricing (all samples had the price clearly on the front, the other company had NO prices listed and no break down of any costs) and clearly explained everything to us as well. We decided to move forward with getting our entire house carpeted with Carpet Mart and more and couldn't be more pleased with the results! We have a two story home and the stairs look absolutely perfect. They had a two man team and they were efficient, polite, and did great work. I saw a review on here about someone having to help them lift the carpet, and I can't imagine their team doing that - trust me, they did all the heavy lifting and removed all the old carpet as well. On a side note, in between receiving the official estimate for the carpet and officially moving forward with Carpet mart, I did request an official estimate from the other carpet company for the exact same carpet we ended up purchasing (I was curious!). The other company offered a "Free installation" promo - let me tell you this was absolute lies!! The other carpet company estimate was nearly a $1,000 more, and that was with their "Free installation". I did e-mail Gary prior to installation about any promotions for free installation and he wrote me an awesome and honest e-mail saying nothing in life is free, and that anyone offering free installation will just tack the price onto the carpet, and he was more than correct. I really appreciated his response and his humor, while also not being offended by me asking. Whether it's due to poor installation, poor-quality materials, or both, the flooring has not held up as it should for such a significant investment. Given the amount the previous owners paid, this level of durability is extremely disappointing. We now have to replace the floors much sooner than anyone should reasonably expect. We will be using a company that stands behind its workmanship and products with a warranty and quality that extends well beyond five years. Based on the condition of these floors after only five years, I would not recommend Simply Floors. A few photos below but it's all over the main floor you can tell they were not installed properly as they are all popping up. And yes I know the warranty was not transferable I just wanted to post so others know the quality to expect before making such a large investment!

After connecting with Simply Floors early 2026 because of the shredding carpet and after a couple of inspections and coordination with the manufacturer of the carpet, I now have the replacement installed (June 1, 2026). The installation was a good process this time and the carpet will most likely hold up very well. Good installation, done within a reasonable time frame and confirmation of details beforehand was achieved. Would have given 5 stars if this was how it went in the beginning. Although I wouldn't recommend one company over another, I would recommend solid communication with all involved, especially with the install crew and company together so everyone is on the same page from the beginning and not just futile lip service. Follow-up inquiries are also important. Would I work with this company again---probably, since they came through with corrections.

As one of the other reviewers said, these guys use subcontractors of varying quality. They had to…read morerefinish the floor 3 times because the owner insisted on sending the same crew back each time (which makes sense if using a fixed-price sub - keeps their profit intact). I communicated my concerns professionally (and almost apologetically) with the owner as we went, but I'm not sure that any of them were addressed directly with the crew - rather they were just given basic instructions at the start of each day to fix the problems from the last go 'round. I'll give them credit for trying to make it right, and the floor looks a lot better than it did when they started, but it still wasn't 100% at the end and they didn't want to listen to any more complaints. A list of items specific issues that as far as I can tell were never communicated back to the crew: - The first thing the crew leader did was take a dump in my bathroom, without asking, and made this a daily ritual. - They didn't bother to cover anything up before sanding - no sheathing between rooms, no covers over the vents - so dust was everywhere in the house. At least I had the good sense to turn off the HVAC, but still had to change the air filters several times before they finished the job. - They sanded/buffed the carpet, trashing it where the carpet meets the hardwood. - Stain was applied in some places across grain / boards rather than same direction leading to stripes (1st attempt), and inconsistently leading to dark splotches (2nd attempt). - They used my ladder (from the garage) without asking. - They left gobs of topcoat around trim and puddling elsewhere. - They did not take the time to use filler properly after the second attempt - there are dark spots around nails, knots, and where sanding was rough. - Hand sanding was quite rough in several areas leading to dark stain, especially around trim, cabinets, toilet, etc. And they didn't thoroughly clean or screen before coating in several places, leading to dirt and debris in the finish. - Stain spatter was left on the wall from brush work and flinging wet towels. The sinks were a left an absolute mess. - There was no real cleanup to speak of and patches of grass are dead in the front yard where they cleaned stain off their tools and equipment. - The "suicide cord" they were using to connect to 240V was a fire and safety hazard. After attempting to share my last round of concerns (not asking for them to redo it again but rather just trying to share some of the issues for future improvement), Anthony told me to stop looking so closely and asked, "You gonna blast us on the internet?" indicating his level of concern. For a website that touts their high level of professionalism and reputation, the crew did not reflect it. If I wasn't a professional contractor myself, then this might have been a traumatic experience. And if I knew the crew and could have hired them directly, then I would have undoubtedly paid half as much... but then they might not have redone it 3 times (especially because I would have kicked them out after the second attempt). I never asked for a discount, and one was certainly never offered. I'm leaving 2 stars because on Yelp that means it "could've been better" but for the price I paid to go with the "pros" I regret not giving one of the other bidders a chance.
