I would not recommend this company…read more I chose them because the scope I discussed with the account manager included replacing my flooring and installing a new vanity I had already purchased. I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

I can't say enough good things about Gary and his customer service, he was able to do the in-home estimate and measurements very quickly and came on a Sunday so we could talk about our carpet options. Before having Gary and Carpet Mart come over to do the estimate, I had another local carpet company come and do an in-home estimate, and while their representative was super nice, I wanted to have other options and wanted to be able to feel some nylon carpet options (the other company did not show me ANY nylon options! As someone completely new to the idea of buying carpet, I was appalled to find out from Google after my very lengthy appointment with the other company that nylon can be a better choice for durability). Anywho - Gary brought over the specific brand nylon carpet samples I had found from some internet searches plus a TON of other similar options - both in nylon and polyester (for a variety of textures, softness levels, and price). Gary was always very upfront with pricing (all samples had the price clearly on the front, the other company had NO prices listed and no break down of any costs) and clearly explained everything to us as well. We decided to move forward with getting our entire house carpeted with Carpet Mart and more and couldn't be more pleased with the results! We have a two story home and the stairs look absolutely perfect. They had a two man team and they were efficient, polite, and did great work. I saw a review on here about someone having to help them lift the carpet, and I can't imagine their team doing that - trust me, they did all the heavy lifting and removed all the old carpet as well. On a side note, in between receiving the official estimate for the carpet and officially moving forward with Carpet mart, I did request an official estimate from the other carpet company for the exact same carpet we ended up purchasing (I was curious!). The other company offered a "Free installation" promo - let me tell you this was absolute lies!! The other carpet company estimate was nearly a $1,000 more, and that was with their "Free installation". I did e-mail Gary prior to installation about any promotions for free installation and he wrote me an awesome and honest e-mail saying nothing in life is free, and that anyone offering free installation will just tack the price onto the carpet, and he was more than correct. I really appreciated his response and his humor, while also not being offended by me asking. We vetted several companies and decided to go with ASA Flooring for several reasons: 1) Responsiveness. Bryan was quick to get back to my inquiry and was at the house to assess the project within a day. 2) Knowledgeable. Our refrigerator had leaked and warped several boards. Bryan explained the pros and cons of board replacement vs letting the boards dry out. We went with the latter and saved money. We had another challenge in the fact that we did not have two rooms refinished which meant seamless color matching. Alfredo was an artist and had an eye for selecting the perfect match. Although the final decision was ours, his experience was a definite help. 3) Efficient. The whole process from start to finish only took three days. We used the opportunity for a little vacation in the mountains and came home to beautiful floors! 4) Professional. Kevin, the project manager, came the weekend before to assess the job site and answer any questions. I asked for it to be glued down, tiles selected had instructions for gluing but they were not followed. I was not told during the project the installer was not gluing them down per instructions until the project was done. I am now having to consider replacing it since the floor pops and snaps when we walk on it. I also just discovered that when the trim they removed was replaced the caulk used was kitchen caulk (not paintable) so I had to scrape it off and redo it.

Pricing was fair and the best I could find in the area, and they were good about removing the costs for anything I handled myself (I removed old carpet and LVP, etc.) even though there were a handful of staples I wasn't able to pull myself from the stair risers. Just one word of warning, make sure you measure your floor space yourself--their measurements for the work were off by about 50 square feet, which would have made a big difference in the number of boxes of material I had to purchase. I think this was probably accidental from them including the bathrooms but given that _every_ floorer I spoke to provided inaccurate estimates it's best to just do the measuring/math yourself.
