We were very grateful for our handyman and his crew who were there assisting us and to witness this teams vulgar remarks about my mothers undergarments, amongst other innoproprient commentaries about certain art and furniture. Plus, they left a lot there at the old house that we had to go back and try our best to pick up ourselves. Which was VERY difficult. Our family is STILL finding items that were handled in the worst care possible. A multitude of thousands of dollars in damages, and they could only give us back $50, and yet we still haven't seen that $50 dollars yet. Broken furniture, heavy objects stacked on electronics, handpainted paintings that were stuffed with other heavy wall decor and paintings with little to no cushioning. Boxes that were marked with two syllables or less, if any at all. Completely shattered family heirlooms dating back from the 1920s and before from our church and blood relatives from both sides. Hand-made gifts from our loved ones who are no longer with us that can NEVER be replaced. We do not recommend this company at all to anyone.

The following are the list of issues of what they did to me and why they are unprofessional: - 2 site surveys were done and they still ran out of boxes and I had to spend an additional $400 on extra boxes/furniture pads for myself - During the initial survey I was told all my nice furniture would be protected with pads and wrapped appropriately. Oooh but that was a lie!! I will provide pictures. - There were only two men packing my 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and full garage house. I was nice and purchased lunch for myself and the two men ($60 on Popeyes), only for one men to leave after eating and a new guy shows up and takes my leftover chicken without asking. WTH!!! You didn't pay for that. On top of that the packing was not finished as promised that day. Was told they guys coming to move the stuff would do it the next day. - They asked for an additional $200 on packing day because they didn't see I had so much. However, remind you two site visits were done!!! Plus I spent extra money on more boxes myself. - On finish packing/pickup day (next day), 4 men came but only three guys were doing work, and one left after two hours. One guy stayed on his phone 80% of the time and they were there from 0930-1800. - You can tell they were not packers, they treated my stuff like trash. I spent thousands of dollars on my things and for them to treat me this way was disrespectful. They didn't wrap all my leather couches, my table, chairs, clothes, pictures, or washer and dryers. Remotes and power cords to tvs were separated and thrown into my storage room. - Bookshelves and dinner tray stand are broke. - I was told not to complete the payment until the guys were done. Of course, they did not finish because I needed another storage room to fit the rest of my items. However, I asked the guys while packing my 1st unit was it enough space for the items left at the house and they all said yes. If they had told me no I would have had enough time to purchase another unit while the office was open. When we got back to the house they realized then it was more stuff. Now who fought is that? I thought this company was professional!!!!!! Yeahhhh ok!! - My flat screen 75inch and 60inch were laying against the storage unit door!! SMH - I had to wait until the next day to get another storage unit to fit the rest my things. The owner called me that night and said that the guys are waiting for their funds. Now, I have no problem with paying the rest but I was told when they were done and clearly they were not. - I paid them the money but I would Never do business with them again. I called him for my daughter, who had a lot of junk to remove from her property. I sent him a couple of pictures and he gave me a price that I thought was fair. Today was the worst moving experience I have ever had :( !…read more Initially, I decided to try out this company because someone in my old apartment complex who had recently used this company said she had a positive experience. However, my experience today was very far from a 5-star experience :( ! And very different from hers! The owner, Robert, did not take full ownership and responsibility himself, and was not too forthcoming when I already questioned the pricing in the beginning. I specifically told him that I wanted to keep my entire move to 2 hours at most. He only told me AFTER his guys moved my stuff across town that I would be charged $468 for 3 hours! The move itself should not have even taken 3 hours. When we were still at my old apartment complex, I told them that my move should be only 2 hours or less because I have a small load, no furniture (except for my folding table and chairs, and my foam mattress), and that everything was packed up before they all had gotten there. With all of my moving experiences, I always box and pack up my stuff so everything is ready to go when the guys get there. This also helps to expedite the move. However, one of the guys took a while to get started on the move. I'm not sure why with this company, the "start" time is determined by not only when the movers get to your first place, but is also determined at the moment they go over the contract with you. He spent at least 15-20 min going over the contract when the owner really should have texted or emailed me this ahead of time. Going over the contract really should not be factored into the actual move time because nothing is being packed or moved during that time frame. I already had to steer the first mover back on track because he was wasting time asking questions that were not relevant at all to the move itself, such as how much was my rent, etc. I wasn't too happy when he told me after we got to my new apartment complex that the payment for my entire move would be 3 hours = $468. I didn't think that was fair because we had already spent 15-20 min at my old complex going over the contract, and he already wasted time asking me additional questions that were not relevant to the contract. I called Robert. But much to my dismay, it was ONLY at that moment that he said my move would be treated as a 3-hour move, even though it was definitely not a 3-hour move. He also dismissed my feedback and said his movers talk' was just small talk. Other companies I have used before have always moved my small load in less than 2 hours and only charged me for a 2-hour window. The small load size has been the same each time, with hardly any furniture. For this particular move, there were also elevators at both apartment complexes, and only one long walkway at one. The Moving Forward movers did not even have to deal with stairs. I used another moving company before in another city for a complex that had no elevator, but only stairs. Those movers and the owner did not complain, and they still carefully moved my stuff from the second floor of one complex to the second floor of the new complex in less than 2 hours. As if the not-forthcoming charges were not already bad enough, I was really embarrassed by the loud music the MF movers blared so loudly when they got to my new complex, and which they kept on even when they got out. I had to ask them to turn down their music for the sake of the other residents in the complex. They also were not careful parking the truck and parked it on the curb. I had to ask them to take the truck off the curb, and I asked them to please be careful with their truck. I think part of the cement was somewhat damaged! After they unloaded all of my stuff, they hastily drove their truck out of the complex. However, the security guard said he noticed that the driver almost sideswiped one of the residents who was turning her car as well. The lady was already in the left turn lane to turn left, so she was in the proper lane. However, the driver was in the right turn lane and erroneously turned left from the right turn lane! He really could have hit her and caused an accident! Because of the seriousness of the near-incident, the security guard asked me for Robert's phone #. He called Robert and told him about that near-incident and informed him that his movers have to be more careful when they are driving. I also texted Robert and told him that his movers really have to be careful when they are driving their truck to places where they are assisting customers, and certainly be careful when they are driving alongside other people. However, he did not answer. Needless to say, this is the first and last time I will ever use this company for moving services. I paid a premium for lousy and horrible customer service. I can not recommend this company to anyone who needs moving services.
