Sylvia came to our apartment a few weeks ago to see the lay of the land. She recommended going by an hourly rate rather than a flat price, because the flat price could change depending on what's encountered. She also emphasized to label boxes well like: master bedroom, kitchen, etc. so we went with hourly rate $165 per hour for three movers. There was an up-charge of $75 because they were also moving a gun safe. They arrived at 8:45am and took a quick tour of our apartment. They explained how they go about it. The movers are Luis, Josue and Juan. What a team. Luis is the leader. Amazingly, they were done in 2.75 hours. This is the furniture for a two bedroom, two bath, den, kitchen, living room , dining area and the balcony we're talking about. Plus all the accompanying boxes for each area. We had boxed up everything we could and labeled as Sylvia had requested. And gave them clear paths as best we could to the major pieces. We had a lot of boxes! We wholeheartedly recommend this company for your moving needs.

Filed a complaint with Texas DMV…read more I hired Swift Movers LLC for a move in San Antonio on February 20, 2026. During the move, their crew wrapped and transported my 55-inch Samsung television, which was fully functional prior to the move. After unwrapping and powering it on at my new residence, I discovered severe panel damage, including cracking and vertical line distortion, ruining the TV. We observed the crew drop a plastic box containing personal belongings and drop our mattress, demonstrating careless handling practices. I booked the Basic Move option and was informed verbally that damage claims are considered on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my claim for replacement value was formally denied, citing lack of a specialty TV box and basic coverage. Attached are photos of the damaged television. Sharing my negative experience so others know what to expect.

Then they delivered what we needed to our house. They arrived exactly on time and all of them worked very hard. All three were extremely kind and patient--we had to open several boxes to see what was inside since our previous movers did not label them properly. One thing that stood out was the excellent teamwork among the three guys. Highly recommended and we plan to hire them again when our house renovation is complete and we can move everything else in.

So I was surprised to receive an email saying my date was changed to the unconfirmed date I asked about and my original date now being gone. I asked for a refund on the deposit as it was not a mistake on my end that the date changed and he said it was non-refundable. Your mileage may vary with the company.

I needed a 2 person crew for a 10 minute move from a 3rd floor apartment in South Austin to a relatively nearby home. Richard Bailey messaged me here on Yelp and to my phone number after I contacted multiple movers. I can only say one slightly negative thing here. At first contact, I wasn't entirely certain that they had accepted my job offer and date. I did have to message a few times to make sure the date and time was actually locked down. I, and so many of us, have been "flaked" on in the past, as I did a few times in Nashville somewhat recently. So I felt I had to reach out a little more as I had a very tight timeline and was just trying to get all my ducks in a row. However with a few messages we did lock in the day and time with a couple days to spare. I would just say that when we are here putting multiple offers on Yelp, you do end up getting blasted by some companies immediately, too much so, but it does make them "seem eager" to lock in the job. Just a little better first contact would be the only slightly negative thing I could say. On to the great: I received a call and message from Gio of their ETA the day before and on the day, which they met. The heat/humidity combination got really bad, still they had surprisingly great attitudes and asked all the right questions when they came up. They wrapped and protected all the furniture as if it was going in a cross country van/semi-trailer. Going down apartment steps, everyone's furniture has gotten scratched and bonked and movers have just said.. oh well. These guys knew exactly what they were doing and everything arrived perfectly. They even had me "direct" them to which room or area as they pulled carts of boxes up to the home. Placed a quote request on Yelp and was bombarded with responses. A lot of the companies requested more information; some didn't respond. Spoke to one guy who said he would send a quote and never did. Richard Bailey gets 10 stars for price, communication; recognizing the sense of urgency and the crew he hired to complete my move. He actually texted me right away; then we spoke briefly. Based on the conversation he gave me a verbal quote and booked my move for the next afternoon. His crew showed up on time. We're very professional; had great personalities and got me moved in two and a half hours. Nothing was broken either. Assembled my washer and dryer too. One of the crew members even gave me decorative advice as I moved from a 2300 sq. ft. house to a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and my couch didn't initially look right where I thought it should be!
