    PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! *this is a precaution to take before you consider* On Saturday March 23, 2019, we hired this company to move our 2bd 2bath Apartment from the 3rd floor to another apartment on the 3rd floor. We heard great things about how fast and efficient they were so we considered them. They started moving us at 9:30am and didn't finish until 4:30pm. From the start of the move, we let them know all the big stuff that they needed to move. We walked them through the living room, and 2 bedrooms they would focus on while my family would get bags and boxes moved which were the little items. My sister stayed the first 1.5 as my mom and I went to go get cash and the new keys for the new apartment to manage the time for when they finish loading. We got back and it seemed like hardly anything was moved. The two bedrooms still needed the bed broken down and the living room still had the entertainment system that needed to be loaded on the truck. I tried to block that from my mind because I knew it was just two guys and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but TIME IS MONEY and $90/hr does not grow on trees. They didn't finish loading the truck until 12:30pm. That's when they were headed to the new apartment. From there, it took them from 1:00pm to 4:30pm to finish unloading the truck. (Mind you, they have a 2 hour minimum. What company takes 2 hours only? Let's keep that in mind) Only the living room and 1 bedroom needed to be moved at the new place because the other bedroom didn't need furniture because new furniture was being delivered on Monday. We just had them break down the old bed at the old apartment for us to give it away. So all in all, with moving bags, boxes, couches, flat screen TVs and 1 bedroom, it took them 7 hours. Once they were done, we turned on the living room TV and as shown in the pictures and it was damaged during the move. My mom talked to the owner Robert about getting it fixed. We were understanding at first because we get things happen while moving in a big truck. However, when we spoke to Robert, he said we could make a claim for reimbursement. Once we made a claim, they were giving us $22 for the damage. $22!!!!!!? That's enough for parking downtown, or gas in my car. That won't even get me in to Schliterbahn. Robert said that's all they could give us because they should have charged us by the pound. That's all they could give us according to the Texas DOT & if we didn't like it, we could complain to them. We told them complaining won't fix the TV. We even tipped them good. We are single black females that work hard and wanted to support a BLACK BUSINESS. Please don't get caught up in that. If the business is not about their business, they need to reconsider their career. $22 is an insult and we will NEVER go with them again. I want to help the next person by this review and pictures attached. If CHRIS AND MARQUIS are not the two guys moving you, then decline the move. I heard together they are fast movers as a team. They'll claim they offer you insurance for covering damage items, but when we called out Robert, he admitted that he never offered insurance. The owner is taking advantage of people especially single women. Chris was fast but the Hispanic gentleman with him, was moving slow. Chris should move to a different moving company because he doesn't deserve them.

    I couldn't recommend a better moving company. They were fast and efficient, got me moved in 2 hours. Albert and Albert were outstanding.

    We hired this company (specially Brandon) to help move our belongings to our new apartment. I do…read morewant to start by saying the team was very friendly and accommodating, especially when we ran into unexpected issues with our leasing office not giving us keys when previously agreed. They were patient and worked with us through that situation, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Despite being told multiple times that the truck was "fully loaded," we returned to find several large items still left behind in our garage (see photo). These weren't small or easily manageable things -- they were exactly the type of items you hire movers to handle. At no point was it communicated that anything was being left. That's the biggest issue. If something doesn't fit or can't be taken, that needs to be clearly stated in the moment -- not discovered after the fact when we have already paid ($1100+) no longer have a way to transport it ourselves. What made the situation even more concerning was the complete lack of communication during the move. At one point, we lost track of them entirely (no response for nearly an hour)... as a result my partner ended up having to drive (12 minutes) back to the old apartment to find the truck leaving, then had to follow it for an extended period of time due to genuine concern about where our belongings were going. There were multiple wrong turns, and later the explanation given was that one phone had died and the other was in the back of the truck and couldn't be accessed. All of this happened while they had our garage door opener and full access to our home, which only added to the stress and concern. No customer should be put in a position where they feel they need to monitor movers to ensure their belongings are safe. We understand that moving days can be hectic and things don't always go perfectly, but clear communication and follow-through are the bare minimum -- and both were lacking here. While we appreciate their friendliness and flexibility, the job was not completed as expected, and the lack of transparency left a bad impression. If you use this company, I would strongly recommend confirming in person that everything is actually loaded before they leave. We won't be using them again.
