They picked up the garbage. I was quoted $375 for their estimation of a truck and half load. It took them only fifteen minutes to load everything into an already half full truck. I wish there was a less than 1 star rating. This business is a JOKE! After calling in for services, I was told I could text pictures for an estimate on the job, so I did. They quoted a price of $300-$385 to complete the job. I went ahead and scheduled them to come out on Tuesday between 11-2pm. I was very specific in requesting that they let me know when they were on their way so that I could leave work and meet them over there. About 1:45pm, I gave them a call and they said I would be hearing from them soon. I drove over and they finally arrived a little after 2:30pm. Although they were there, they were unprepared to do the job that I had sent pictures of AND said the job was going to be close to $900 to complete...a little more than what I consider to be an "error". They said they would need to come back the next day to do the work and would be there mid-morning. Drove by the next day on my lunch break and nobody was there. Gave them a call only to find out they couldn't work because the ground was wet and they were "sinking". I don't remember San Antonio having an immense amount of quick sand and having been out there myself over the weekend, when it was pouring rain, I knew this was not the truth. Spoke to the owner who said he would get them back out there since things should be dried up. Here we are at Thursday and I am now hearing that there is hazardous material...blah blah blah! I've done many projects and have personally rented over a dozen dumpsters in the last year and have never heard so much whining and seen such a lack of execution. Long story short, they don't run on time, they are unreliable, and they will make many excuses to not get the job done. I don't recommend them. read more

Scheduled appt for estimate between 11 and 1. They called at 11:50 had to drop something off at their location. Called again at 12:55 because GPS had sent them to a different subdivision and wanted to confirm address. Arrived at 1:15 pm. After giving me the estimate said they could start then. Price was good, so had them start and they were done in 45 minutes. It took them a little while to get there, but when they did and price was better than one of the other services decided to use them and they were fast in loading and hauling away. read more

Somewhat disappointing. Never showed in the two hour time window provided. I called twice and was treated curtly on the phone by call center personnel that reminded me that they were a global company and therefore VERY busy but that they would check with the local manager. I had to leave after 2 hours for work but someone eventually showed up to look at the pile of trash from a move/clean out. 8 contractor bags filled with general household trash, 2 large dog beds, 2 Matress pads, 3 large appliance boxes, 1 5th wheel trailer full size Matress. Half a pick up truck load. I did eventually get a quote for over $200. My budget was $100. Along with the no-show, then the ball bid and rude phone service-I would pass on this company! read more

I actually scheduled an appointment with Junk-King online because I was moving out of a horrible apartment complex under a very horrible and quick circumstance. I decided that instead of trying to pay for a moving company, storage unit, and then cleaning company to clean the apartment (had to get out of my lease and it was up in 3 days), that why not hire Junk-King instead? First off they called to tell me when they were on the way and were very polite and friendly the whole time. They sent two men, a 20 something year old and an older one and these two guys spent from 8am-noon packing everything in my apartment; literally everything in the truck to be either donated, recycled, or trashed. Not only did the do a very thorough job but they also used common sense while doing it and did not waste time chit chatting with each other all morning. (Although, I did chit chat with them only because I felt terrible that my place looked so bad.) I would definately use this company again should I ever need to; however I hope I am never in a situation like that again. I felt bad for the two skinny guys carrying out my furniture and everything else in my 1 bedroom apartment all morning. If I had water or something I would have given it to them because I am sure they were tired by the end of it.
