In these days of higher prices and smaller portions, that is not the case with this restaurant! I visit Simi Valley a couple of times a year and I always stop by for their delicious food. Tonight I ordered the chicken Kufta. It was priced at $16 for the complete meal. I really was shocked when I saw how much food they gave me. Three long thick skewers of the chicken Kufta. With rice, vegetables and a green salad. It was all fresh, and perfectly prepared. A delicious meal for a fair price and thank you for the wonderful portion. I'll have enough for lunch tomorrow read more

Horrible service!! Food is good but got totally ignored very disappointed. Owner needs to get better staff

I don't usually make reviews. But this is the second time I have received the wrong order. I don't believe they know what is on their own menu. I have asked for ground beef kufteh and received the steak kebab and charged for the steak kebab. Unfortunate would have to drive elsewhere if you want what you are craving. read more

Absolutely love this place. Staff is friendly. The food quality is amazing! Good portions, flavorful, just a nice experience. I love all their dishes! The humus is to die for! 100% recommend. The lighting is perfect. The place is spacious for families. Very clean. read more

We came 3pm feb 8, 2025. We came here because this place is similar with the taste of our favorite rrataurant in tustin,ca. I would like to give a bad review to a very disrespectful server. I was requesting for a different table and very arrogant he said i have to wait an hour for him to clean tables , theres like 4 tables available that we can use. Server was a very tall young man with curly hair. In case you are reading this, FU to you, treat my family because we are asian! read more

The best Mediterranean restaurant in Simi Valley! We travel to come to this hidden gem. Our usual is the chicken shawarma and the most popular dish on the menu, but everything is delicious! The dining room is spacious and enough room for large gatherings with advanced notice. A perfect restaurant for family dining or friendly get togethers. The space is quiet enough where you can have a conversation without raising your voice. Besides the food, the 5 star rating is for the staff. Always very attentive and friendly! We've never had a bad experience here. read more

This place is fire! I ordered to-go and it was torture - I could smell the food on the way home and I could tell they were just got off the grill. I was taken cared of as soon as I entered. That to me was great service. Everything tasted fresh! I became a fan on the first bite. Our chicken kabob, chicken shawarma and ground beef were beautifully marinated. Love the rice! The side salad was fresh and the dressing has the right sourness for a good overall balance. The hummus was creamy and citrusy. They will provide you with good portions of pita bread. Don't forget to ask for the side garlic! read more

Savory and delicious!!! I love Ali Baba !! The food is always fresh and the service is phenomenal! The best creamy hummus ever!!! I love everything on the menu but my kids will say they have the best French fries in town. I don't go there for fries but I also never pass them up. They are actually yummy dipped in the hummus. My favorites are the shawarma plates. The only thing that would make them better is if I could order them through grub hub!!! read more

Had the pleasure of dining here after hearing good things about it from Long Beach locals. The menu is extensive and has every kind of protein imaginable including seafood options and vegan friendly protein. I opted for salmon and although the platter was expensive the item is a good value for the portion size of the fish. Our cashier was very hospitable. We got several cups of water and asked if soda water was free as well. Seemed like it should be extra but he obliged to provide it for free. The ingredients feel very fresh and next time I would like to try the vegetarian favorites like the falafel balls and baba ganoush. read more

Hidden jewel of Simi Valley. This place is unbelievably delicious. Tried it for the first time and definitely returning this week for more. Very clean and the service is great. Had the lamb and chicken sandwich with their homemade hummus. Greek house is good, and no knock on them at all. However, this location takes it. Definitely recommend to anyone. read more

My boyfriend and I had a great time here tonight for date night! It wasn't too busy but still had a good number of patrons. I ordered the chicken shawarma which was quite lovely, and my boyfriend the beef kufteh! He loved it. Our server was very nice to us, but the one thing I wasn't thrilled about was not being told about the service charge when using a debit/credit card. If I'd known I wouldn't have used card and saved the charge fee. I think patrons should be told up front about that. Other than the little miscommunication, we did have a really good time and hope to come back soon! read more

Came here for the first time on 12/17/22 we had to wait because we came on a very busy day and time. There was a big office lunch going on so it was kind of loud. The food and service were great. We will be back read more

Went to the Reagan library today to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. After sitting in the parking lot to leave, we yelped some restaurant reviews and decided on this place. The food was amazing and the service was incredible. I was impressed with everything including the pricing. I don't live in this area, but if I did, I would frequent this place. I think you should try it, you'll like it. read more

If you in the area, check out this place really good fresh food. Very friendly stuff.

Worst place ever!! Don't waste your money and it's not authentic compare to The Greek House in Simi Valley is top place. I order small family meal it did not come with hummus and the small portion was ridiculous for the higher price I pay, high price and small portion. I will r come back not worth my money. read more

Huge fan and definitely recommend! Owner is wonderful and super inviting, food is excellent, and happens to be one of my favorite restaurants to take home to share with the family! The grape leaves, pickles, and rice were on the menu today along with lamb and chicken kabobs. Yum, yum!!! read more

Always great food. I got the lamb shwarma. Delicious as always. The staff is attentive. Great food for the cost.

Great food, fast friendly service. I was given some free soup and it was so delicious and hit the spot. I would go again. Even my kids liked it and they are super picky. The place was comfortable and easy to get to. read more

Great food and service. However they sneakily tacked on an additional 4% as a credit card service fee on the bill.Server said nothing about this when presenting the bill. Biz credit card is 2-2.5%. They are making a spread on customers using CC. For all the Togo orders we made with them during COVID to support the business this is a shady business practice. Lost me as a customer. read more

What a gem. Family owned, personal service, excellent quality food, varied dishes and everything is delicious. We love this place.

Oct 2022 Yes, I will be back. Hidden Gem of the Simi Valley area! I have to say, the services quite top-notch. The owner, or was he the manager, was really helpful and deciding what to choose off the menu. It's a sit-down place but feels like a takeout place as well. Good atmosphere, delicious food. A buddy and I opted for the lamb, made two different ways. He opted for the lamb kebab, which was quite a hefty portion, and also a Mediterranean style salad. The salad was great, it's like a chopped iceberg lettuce, with some tomato, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, and some onion in the mix. Seasoned with oregano, olive oil come on a dash of vinegar, it's Tangy and refreshing all in one bite. The salad was huge, definitely a huge Bowl full. I got the sliced lamb plate, which also came with hummus and a salad. And some pita bread as well. It's like chipped beef, but lamb. Really tasty, quite flavorful. It's tangy, it's juicy, it's tender and moist. Since it comes with a few Pita breads, I made little mini Gyros, if that's what you want to call them. Spread some hummus in, put in some sliced lamb, and you're good to go. Service was great, both the waiter, and a person who I believe was either the owner or a manager came by to check up on us quite a few times over the course of 45 minutes or so. We took our time, and the outdoor seating was very pleasant this time of year. I think people who would really get the most out of this would be smaller families, and also Travelers passing through the area, like people riding their bicycles or motorcycles. It's definitely a place where you can hang out, enjoy some fresh air outside, or relax inside. read more

Food was amazing and service was excellent! First time here but definitely will be coming back!

Food Taste and Quality is a 5 out of 10. Ambiance not welcoming, kinda plain and boring. Staff was polite and provided a good service, but this is a restaurant that you go for the food, not the whole experience. read more

I still have the flavors of this café resonating in my mind and on my tongue. I wish this little café in my hometown. The hummus is velvety and smooth. The tabouleh is spiced just right. The lintel soup took me back to my grandmothers split pea soup. Velvety smooth and creamy just the right amount of mediterranean flavors. The inside has nothing to squawk about. It's simple and adequate, but I'll be at rustic. The waitress that waited on us had a bit of an impatient attitude. I think it was because we didn't know what we wanted right away. But with a complement or two she warmed up. And the rest of the meal went just fine. I had a falafel plate. It came with their salad, for falafel croquettes that were crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. It had the hummus and tabouleh. It came with a basket of pitas. My partner had a bowl of lentil soup and sautéed vegetables. And the flavors still remain. When I went up to pay my bill, The owner asked how everything was. He was so proud when I announced how amazingly delicious everything was. He invited me to come back. I think I most definitely will! read more

It's been a while since I'd been here, partly because the shopping center is small and don't often go that way but I was craving Mediterranean food so looked at yelp. I'm glad I did, I wanted to try a salad and their "greek" salad is amazing! Their chicken is also good! I stopped Friday to order again and they were pretty busy so call ahead. They are very friendly and kind. They have a couple tables outside as well and they have a couple tables inside to sit but noticed they do a lot of take out. I can't wait for all this Covid stuff to be over so we can eat in, hang out and enjoy their other dishes. Reasonable prices and they feed the homeless one day a week! Wtg.... Thank you! read more

Great food! I love the way they serve our homeless population every Sunday. Great Community relations!

What's not to like about this place? The staff here are absolutely incredible and possibly the nicest people you will meet. Ordered the family meal for four and I swear it could of fed 8 people. So much food, but so much good food. I enjoy the chicken more than the beef but both are good. The hummus and rice here are fantastic. Definitely come here to get a delicious meal for a bargain. read more

Let me start by saying that I have been going here for over 10 years, so yes this is one of my go to's in the area for Mediterrenean food. I usually get the schwarma plates or beef/salmon kabobs. I used to get their chai when I drank caffeine and loved it. Good /friendly service, not too long of waits. Overall this is a great option and adds variety to the area. My only complaint is that recently the hummus has had a minty/ soapy flavor. I still gobble it down, doesnt stop me but I'm really curious what the recipe includes. I thought maybe it was parsley giving it that minty taste last time I ordered but IDK - anyone else? Just me? read more

Have been wanting to swing through here for quite a while and finally had my wife pick me up some to go while I was laid up. Order the beef shawarma plate and was NOT disappointed. Staff on the line was extremely welcoming and the serving size was ridiculous! Hopefully my review doesn't cause them to draw down the serving size because it literally was enough for my wife and I. It was honestly the best Mediterranean food I've had since actually visiting the Med. Extremely authentic right down to the salad - you can always tell with the salad in the US whether or not they stay tradional and Ali Baba's is traditional med cuisine. read more

Fresh delicious healthy food - and reasonably priced as well. Love the kabob plates, wraps and salads. Highly recommend
