I was like "what?" And then Alberto the order taker started explaining the difference, but I cut him off. I said I already knew the difference, but they were the first to ever give the option. I was very impressed and I hadn't even had a bite yet. The service was very attentive, warm and wholly professional. The food was very reasonably priced. The portion sizes were hefty. And the best part was how good my food was. My falafel wrap was as good as it gets--but even bigger than that. The house salad that came with the wrap included a delicious dressing. I'm actually mad at myself that I am just now writing a review. I have been coming here for years. I enjoy the food so much. My favorite items are the boneless chicken (Whether it's a pita wrap or entree), the salmon, and the house salad with their house dressing. Sometimes I even dip my salmon in the dressing directly. The boneless chicken is so good and juicy every time. Like they don't miss. It's literally always grilled to perfection. I can't tell you enough how much I love this place. I came in for a delivery pickup and had an unpleasant experience with the staff at the front. There was a woman with red hair who came off as very disrespectful from the start. I thought I heard the name for the order I was picking up and stepped forward, and she responded in a sarcastic tone, saying something along the lines of, "If I call your name, that means it's for you." It wasn't what she said as much as how she said it. The attitude felt unnecessary and unprofessional for a simple situation. It came across like she was irritated and didn't want to be there, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. My wife and I decided to get some Mediterranean food the other night, so I remembered this place that was recommended to us at a Yelp event. They're located in the shopping center with Jack in the Box and Wingstop on De Soto and Vanowen in Canoga Park, CA. There's plenty of parking in the lot, so parking shouldn't be an issue. My wife and I both ordered the chicken kebab combo plate, which came with rice, salad, hummus, chicken kebab, and a few pitas. The meat was incredibly fresh, juicy, and flavored to perfection you really have to try it yourself to know what I mean. I substituted the salad for extra hummus since I can't have tomatoes, and we all know that. The service was amazing. The guy who took my order at the counter was super friendly and answered all of my questions about the food, as well as some questions I had about their catering menu. He truly went above and beyond to provide quality customer service, which is something most people appreciate and a big reason why many customers would come back again. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from a Mediterranean restaurant, with pictures of the food they serve, including different kinds of meats. They also have a juicer in case you want freshly squeezed orange juice, along with several other options you can see in the photo I attached to this review. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try something new or if you're craving juicy, delicious meat as a combo plate or wrap. Give this place a try you won't regret it. I never care to make reviews but this place gives raffi's a run for its money, That's alone speaks for itself. The cashier was really kind and helpful with her recommendations, I ended up getting the beef koobideh, it cost 21 dollars but for 21 dollars it's worth every cent. Presentation was superb and the skewers are thick. No part of the food left me wishing something was different, this place just makes me realize how mediocre other places are. Me and a friend went to sit down and the place reminds me of an old kabob shop from where I come from except they have high end restaurant level kabob. I usually love this place and would have nothing negative to say but the woman who identified herself as the "manager" had terrible customer service. I come in weekly and order the same thing. The order comes with house dressing which I'm allergic to so I substitute it for Caesar dressing. It's never been an issue. The people are accommodating about it. Today, as I pick up my order, the woman gives me a hard time. She continues to say this isn't allowed and she will be speaking to "her" staff about it. She continued to thank me for "letting her know" in a condescending manner, to reassure me this small change would never happen again. placed an order directly on the restaurant's website for pickup. When I arrived to collect it, the staff told me that an Uber driver had already picked up my order. I kept explaining that I didn't order through Uber Eats -- I ordered directly through their website for pickup. Despite this, the person at the register kept repeating, "I know, but an Uber driver picked up your food." Then I received a call from DoorDash (which apparently handles their website orders), asking if I had picked up my order. I told them I was at the restaurant, and they were telling me someone from Uber picked it up. The DoorDash representative was also confused and confirmed that it was a pickup order -- not an Uber Eats delivery. The whole situation was a mess.
