Burritos as big as your arm. We missed Cali style Mexican! It's really good! Open 24 hours! Salsa bar plus chips!

Fantastic food at great prices. Servings are generous, service is friendly and space is plentiful. If I lived near, I would eat here much more frequently.

Came into the area for a dr appt and we were very pleased with our meal. I got the asada fries with the chili relleno burrito and my wife got the beef rolled tacos. Everything was delicious and I really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa bar with the marinated spicy carrots. The cashier was very pleasant and answered our questions since it was our first time there. The dining area was clean and inviting and decorated for Valentine's Day. Good size portions and quality ingredients. We will definitely be back again.

Chile-Relleno a la Carte delicious and priced right!

This reminded me of when I lived in California and there were places like this on every corner. It is cheap and a little bit divey but so so good! The chile relleno was fabulous as was the Chile Verde plate (so spicy though!)... if you are looking for traditional Mexican food (not Tex Mex) where the entire menu is in Spanish and the salsa is ridiculously hot then this is your joint! And they are open 24 hours!

I've been searching all of Texas for the best carne asada burrito and I have found it. Also the best rolled tacos. Fresh guacamole and free chips and salsas. Hidden Gem!! Must try.

    A little greasy

Order was $1 more than menu and extra $1 for credit card use. Not sure about quality yet but hesitant if they can't bill correctly or explain it. Chips and queso was cheese from a bag. Salsa was pico. Not anything she said after I asked.

Ugh, I used to love this place. I have been quite a few times. Unfortunately, the consistency has been all over the place. In some cases, the quantities come out different, the ingredients used are different. (example: the flying saucer shells.), sometimes the meat is lean, sometimes it is very fatty. On several of the visits, the tables were all dirty. It would just be nice if the dining room was fully kept up. I know they are a family run shop and staffing is lean, but you have to keep your customers wanting to come back for more.

    Carne asada fries!

Large portions!! So much flavor! Super casual but great service!! The family came from the Sacramento and are super friendly! Had a great experience and whenever we are in the area, we plan to stop in for the carne asada fries!

This place is open 7/24. The lady running the pace today is from Cal. So with a restaurant name ending in ...berto's has to be great. And boy having lived in SoCal for 20 years I finally found a place I can get my taste on. And it's worth the 40min drive. We ordered some basic staple items from them today and it was perfect. We ordered the carne asada chimichanga, bean and cheese burrito, carne asada burrito and nachos. And not a one disappointed me. If you spent any time in California and tried their food you need to come here. Even the shrimp tasted amazing. Not spicy Cajun.

Boiled chicken...and not much of it, either.

Breakfast taco is average on taste. But for a price of $4 each of breakfast taco, not worth it.

The is a great Tex-Mex restaurant!…read more First of all, they serve Puffy tacos, in the San Antonio style. Few restaurants can prepare these the proper way. There is great QC, AND management, here. Julio's wife, Elena, stopped by the table and checked in the food. She also told us of a wrestling event that was coming up on May 1. She was SO pleasant. Our server, Freddy, got the order in perfectly, even though there were 7 of us. The prices were reasonable. The food again was spot on. We WILL return! BTW, the watermelon margarita was wonderful! In Texas - the Tex-Mex competition is fierce. Everyone has a favorite. This place just bumped my…read moreprevious favorite from its perch and became current favorite. TLDR: Thar food, those ritas. This place has become my most recent go-to when that little voice says - "pssst....Dave....Dave....i know you hear me....you want fajitas." Admittedly, I hear that voice a lot. In any case, I usually order the fajitas. They give you a decent quantity that tastes great. The meet is tender and flavorful and those tortillas had me at hello. I love this stuff! My son elects to go for the cheese enchiladas. I don't have to ask him how much he likes them because is a super picky eater and this is the one place where he actually cleans his plate. The margaritas are solid as well and when you glance around the restaurant, you'll see them on most tables. This place is a well oiled machine. There are plenty of staff and they all work unison to bring drinks / chips / salsa / refills / orders / food -- and that food usually comes out before I can feel guilty for eating chips, salsa, and queso. I found this trick that works for me. Since I 100% of the time feel guilty for leaving the place feeling so full, I started parking on the other end of the parking lot. This allows my to burn off 2.7 calories of the food that just ate so I feel 2.7 percent less guilty. On a serious note - this place is the real deal. While some of my previous favorites have either closed down or gone downhill a bit - Julio's has remained strong. ¡Salud!
