I had read really good things about this place and I am glad I finally got a chance to swing by and try it out. I am glad I did! When you first walk in, head straight to the counter where you can see all the options they have. I went during breakfast, and ordered the breakfast tacos from a nice lady that greeted me with a smile. The tacos are top tier and you do have the option for corn or flour tortillas. The egg and sausage ones were in my opinion the best ones. I also want to warn you that the red salsa is spicy! Overall I had a pleasant experience and will return again. read more

This is HANDS DOWN the absolutely best Gordita I have ever eaten. It's at Cisco's Taqueria at 3403 Louetta (near Ella). I really mean it. I can't even come up with a close second. Every time I eat here, a piece of me dies and goes to heaven. Thank you to the other yelper who recommended the barbacoa gordita. The only thing I like better is the sausage gordita -- the sausage is slightly sweet and unique. So, so good. I doubt there's anything you could choose wrong from their menu. read more

I was a little confused by the menu and I was expecting the cashier to be rude when I asked her some questions about it but she patiently answered all my questions. Who knew people still had manners. Lol Anyways, our food was chicken fajita and barbacoa tacos with a cheese quesadilla. Both were flavorful and still hot after our ten minute ride home. My favorite taco joint in Houston is back and they haven't missed a beat. With a great selection of taco fillings and fresh tortillas I can't rave about this place enough. They had to close their previous location about a year and a half ago so I was thrilled to find they reopened about a mile away from their old location The atmosphere is homey and inviting. You get great service at this family run restaurant. You order at the counter but the service goes well beyond expectation. All offered at a reasonable price. I love the breakfast tacos, with that being said, Lily the owner used to be sooo friendly and welcoming, not anymore. I have been going to this place for many many many years. Stuck with her through the move and even though it is out of my way, i still go. I go because the girl that makes the tacos is so awesome. She smiles and is so friendly. That goes along way with me. I work for a construction company and am always sending people her way. The tacos are really good, not the best but good. Extremely reasonably priced. Would have loved to try it but hours of operation aren't accurate on all sources of information (FB and Google) hopefully they will update. However did try and go by for breakfast tacos at 6:40am a little after they opened at 6:30am only to find they were not open. Employees were there but doors were locked and most of the lights were out. Messaged owner about the problem of their hours being wrong and not opening in time. He or she wrapped the conversation up with a "well you are the first customer complaint we have ever had after years of business". So I guess that was there way of saying we don't care, get over it. The reason I am posting this review is so someone doesn't have to find out the hard way, like I did, that this restaurant does not always open when they say they will open. So if you are on your way to work and would like to know the place you are stopping at will be open when they say they will be open and ready to assist you so you can still make it to your destination at the time you have planned, then I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Food is decent but owner is very rude and condescending. Her staff doesn't speak a lick of English, good luck with not having to deal with the owner. Place is a toss up on whether or not they are open. Hours posted on the door don't mean a thing. I believe the staff is instructed to give women the poorest choices of meets.
