YELP brought me here after our original taco spot for lunch was closed for the day. Located off of Stuebner Airline, it's attached to a gas station/convenience store. While the location looks small, the food and service pack a major punch. Typical Mexican eats are here with tacos, burritos, breakfast/lunch plates, tostadas, tortas, and quesadillas available. Protein options include asada, pastor, picadillo (ground meat and potatoes), barbacoa, chicken, deshabrada, & chicharron. Since you know how much I love tacos, I typically go with those. There's so much love put into them with flavors and good taste bursting with every bite. I usually do asada and barbacoa, both which are juicy. The breakfast tacos are served all day and are large and filling. Tacos have a layer of beans put in to help keep all the meat and toppings in tact, a well-thought concept. And they give you some squeeze bottle salsas (in-house dining only), both have some kick and add to the tacos. There is minimal seating here as the establishment is mainly for takeout. Service is quick and polite, your food comes out pretty quick and they are patient if you're not sure what to order. This has been added to my weekly lunch option for my taco fix. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself!

Ambiance: Small gem of a taco shop located at Louetta & Stuebner Airlines next to the gas station. Fast, amazing prices & delicious tacos! This is a great to-go spot! Limited seating inside. La Regia is hands down one of our favorite breakfast taco & taco spots in town! Most tacos are $2-4 each, we love affordability. Great flavor! Love the flour tortillas. Quick & fast for pick up. They also have many other menu items, combos/sides, and drinks. Parking onsite - a bit busy at times with the gas station. Highly recommend! Add them to your must visit taco spots!

Stopped by on the recommendation of another Yelper who praised the salsas. The decorations were so cute and the theme was pink. The lady at the desk was very nice and accommodated my request to try just the salsa rojo. I also ordered a chicken fajita taco, which I waited a short while for. I wanted to love the taco, but unfortunately, it was not my favorite. The chicken was cooked too quickly, making it crunchy on the outside and dry on the inside. However, the green and red salsa did save the day. They were authentic and full of flavor. I'll be back to purchase more salsa for my home meals.

Authentic food. With fresh ingredients and homemade tortillas de harina you can't go wrong. The fresh lemonade was very good. The location is small and clean but just right. Musica Norteña playing in the background. Nice . No other word. Also, we can't forget the young ladies working there. Hard workers and courteous to each and every customer that walks in. Definitely recommend. 5 Stars from me.

Staff is very nice and friendly! The food is really good and prices are reasonable! I highly recommend the breakfast tacos! There is seating inside if you want to dine-in or you can order to go.

Wow, this place really impressed me! Yes, it is located next to a gas station, but has its own entrance and there is no building access into the gas station convenience store from the restaurant. The tacos are definitely not your typical tex mex variety. My favorite was the shredded beef, like other yelpers suggested. The orange colored hot sauce was very flavorful, but I didn't feel it was super spicy. I also tried the barbacoa taco, bacon and egg taco, al pastor taco, cheese only quesadilla, jamaica agua fresca and a Mexican coke. Most customers do appear to get take out....but I ate inside at one of the handful of tables.

Stopped by for some breakfast. At first I will was a little "iffy." There were no cars in the parking lot and Yelp had a single review. I went in hoping for a jackpot, but ready to take one for the team if things didn't turn out. From the moment I entered that pink door, I knew it was going to be good. It was La Regia's game to lose. Everything about this place checked my boxes. Non-chain/Family run - check Smelled good - checked (for those that can't smell, take my word) Food looked good - check And most importantly - The food tasted great - check. I ordered a round of tacos and cheese quesadillas for my son. I loved mine. He loved his. No words had to be spoken. Can't wait to go back.

Very good tacos! Very decently priced. We came in for lunch but the breakfast taco variety sounds delicious. There's menudo on the weekends so we will be back! Small, quaint space, very quick. You'll be in and out. There's a few tables for seating. Good and fast service!

Five star alert here. I am really happy I try this place out. This is a family run establishment, mother and son. They're extremely nice and they're severed up some great food in northwest Houston. Normally I have to go all the way to northside to get this type of food. This is your call really good breakfast tacos and regular tacos. They have homemade tortillas corn and flour. The shredded beef is absolutely amazing. That taco is the real winner here. Also the Barbacoa is just as good. Another real five-star winner here is their hot sauce. The orange one is the hottest one but it's full of flavor and it's a very rare type of hot sauce. You don't find this one too many places. These folks have perfected the shredded beef taco, as well as the orange hot sauce. And the fajita was OK. I will definitely come back and try more of the tacos. I'm really excited to try the breakfast tacos as well. I am telling you right now if you have not been here, this is a must try. They also label to Tacos. How nice is that. As many tacos I've got in Houston very rare is a restaurant label to Tacos. They were doing a lot of things right here. They definitely deserve business. Give them a shot you will not be disappointed.

The best $2.50 tacos you'll have in the area. This place, I'm assuming, is women owned considering the HOT pink everywhere. I dig it! I usually order the chicken tacos which are wonderfully seasoned and accompanied with beans, onions and cilantro. So simple yet so freakin' tasty! I've ordered 3 times in the last week and a half. The lady at the counter makes it a priority to know her customers. Call ahead since they cook to order and it can get a little busy during the lunch rush hour. My go-to taco spot. Enough said!

I'd wanted to try La Cocina for a while for that reason and those plans finally came to fruition. You walk up to a counter that has all the ingredients for taco making right in front of you. The guy asks you how many you are going to want, and if you want flour or corn, so he can let them know in the back to make your tortillas fresh. About 2 minutes later, out came our tortillas. I ordered 3: one with eggs and bacon, one with some kind of egg and sausage combo and one non-breakfast taco with fajita meat. The fajita taco was just okay, but the breakfast tacos had me thinking about them for hours after the fact. They aren't very big, so if you're a growing boy like me, I'd aim for 4-5 of them. The guy behind the counter tried to guide us into his suggestion of 2 each, but I jumped in and said make it 3 for me. If I could go back in time, I would have done 4 and made them all the breakfast variety. Both breakfast tacos were straight bangers from another dimension. All the sauces were great and none were too spicy. I might have to return to this place sooner rather than later because I really did think about it the rest of the day. I love you, La Cocina.

Between the family, we tried the barbacoa, chicharron, chicken fajita, and a fajita quesadilla. The fresh homemade tortillas really make a difference in every bite. I'd read reviews mentioning they were huge, but honestly, I didn't find them particularly oversized. Not a complaint at all, just not what I expected going in! My daughter loved her quesadilla and especially the cheese pull, which passed her personal "cheese test" with flying colors. The chicharron in salsa verde was a standout for me, perfectly seasoned, with no need for extra salt or salsa. Personally, I'd ask for the onion to be chopped just a bit smaller but that really is the only "complaint" I have. I also ordered the charro beans based on earlier reviews, and they were every bit as flavorful as promised. I'm already looking forward to trying their fresh-squeezed orange juice on our next visit. The staff was wonderfully welcoming from start to finish, and my husband, who went in with low expectations, was blown away by how delicious everything was. We're both so glad we gave this place a try. If you're looking for comforting, well-seasoned food in a warm, inviting setting, Nando's Tacos is absolutely worth the visit.

Serving tacos in the Humble TX area since 2022, Nando's Tacos (not to be confused with the chicken…read morerestaurant) serves up delicious full size tacos. My brother and I stopped in for carryout breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. Alas, they didn't have brisket breakfast tacos, but had some good alternatives. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco. They also have menudo on the weekends, and both their corn and flour tortillas are homemade. As mentioned before, the flour tortillas are really good, and the barbacoa is definitely worth a visit.
