We had absolutely wonderful service from Tyler last night. We are truly appreciative of his kindness and hospitality. The food was incredible! The bread was a little different but we enjoyed trying something new. My scallops were cooked very nicely and the short ribs were also great! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Murphy's

Party of 4: Sunday @ 19:00p - No reservation required. We walked in just about an hour prior to closing. My eye caught two words on the menu "Ribeye Steak" which did not disappoint at all. Great selections offered- we tried sriracha corn fritters as well as bruschetta. This place is definitely worth checking out!

The atmosphere here is really relaxed. Wide open and airy dining room and outdoor seating is available. Plenty of light from outside comes in making everything welcoming and inviting. The service is really good and we had zero issues in the department. The food was cooked really well. The batter they used for the fish was delicious! It was flaky and flavorful but not overpowering. The rib eye was tender and had good flavor. The gold nugget bread was also delicious. We would come back here.

Went 1 week ago. Went on sunday night, not that crowded. Pretty quiet. I ate there before. 1) Decor same 2) sitting outside is nice 3) Food is always good. Husband got scallop, I got Salmon Fish, key lime pie is very good. 4) A local red wine is very good. Highly recommended. I always like this place.

The ambiance is beautiful and the fireplace helped stay warm in this cold fall. Our server was polite and friendly. The food was delicious! Good and generous portions. We shared a beets salad with vanilla dressing that was so yummy! My husband ordered the scallops and polenta with mushrooms. It was yummy. Paired with the Indian rock Chardonnay. I had the ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection! So delicious! Paired with a glass of the Meiomi Pinot Noir couldn't get any better! Definitely coming back and totally recommend.

Great food and ambiance. Everything we had was good but the gold nugget bread was a standout as well as the beef short ribs. The patio is great on a warm evening!

Up in the area for the long weekend to check out Calaveras Big Trees State Park and made a reso for this place - and had high hopes - ends up this place is decidedly mid. Service was incredibly slow, despite there being no shortage of waiters and waitresses and many open tables the whole evening. They gave us upwards of 10 minutes with the single page menu to decide on appetizers, then another 5 minutes to inquire about the entrees. The bill took 20 minutes to recevie at the end. While nitpicky, you truly expect better from a restaurant like this. For our appetizers, we ordered Mac and cheese and Gold nugget bread. The "world-famous" bread is just garlic bread. It was delivered lukewarm, it tasted fine, and it's still not worth the $8. The Mac and cheese was just alright. Unlike the garlic bread, it was delivered hot, and tasted slightly unique. It was the best part of the meal. The fun cocktails were also pretty good. The bartender making the drinks has more in it for them than the person who cooked our food. For our entrees, we ordered the Fried chicken, the Cheeseburger, the mushroom polenta, and the seared scallops with risotto. Initially, the second child (who got a cheeseburger) ALSO wanted fried chicken, but they were somehow out of chicken at 7pm on a saturday. Both the chicken and the burger were substandard, especially for the price; the burger, much like the golden bread, was lukewarm and basic. Additionally, the "garlic" fries on the side were indistinguishable from normal french fries. I genuinely hope that they messed up the order because of how disappointing the fries were. Absolutely not worth the $20 you pay. The $28-for-a-single-piece Fried Chicken was arguably worse than Popeyes or Chick-fil-a. The mashed potatoes and Bok choy on the side were alright, but nothing to write home about. Again, not worth the $28 fee. The mushroom polenta was genuinely good. Medium sized portion with no real protein source, but that's expected from a vegetarian dish. Was it worth the $25? Meh. The seared scallops were also good. Nothing to complain about there except for the $39 price tag. Really?? Overall, we entered hopeful, and left disappointed. The kids weren't satisfied. Poor POOR service. Would not return.

    Outdoor seating. Dog friendly!

Food and service was good. Very upset that we got stuck with TWO $3.50 split plate FEES. Would not of done that if the fee was disclosed.

Even though it was late on a Tuesday the patio was still busy. We got a nice table outside because it was a beautiful day and we had our GSD with us. Shared the beet salad and the chicken burrito and also a kids hamburger with fries for the pup ( fries were for us). PROTIP: We took the option to split each dish by the kitchen and although it cost a couple bucks more, you get a little more of everything! Beet salad was solid with perfect allocations of all ingredients. I would say it was a bit heavy on the dressing but I like minimal dressing and my partner said it was perfect so there you go. The burrito was "wet" and delicious! Lots of flavor fresh ingredients and very saucy. Only thing it lacked was a little heat. Ask for tapatio if you like a little spice. The hamburger by the way, was larger than a normal hamburger you get on the kiddie menu. And the fries were piping hot and fresh. Our dog loved the burger as he should and we downed all the fries. Highly recommend and will be back!

Red Thai Curry Coconut Mussels: 10/10 coming from a SE Asian background, flavors are authentic Entrees: Unsure of what we ordered but we definitely had the elk medallions which was delicious! Loved the services, vibe, food and good strong drinks! Cannot wait to go back on our annual trip!

As you drive up, you're greeted by gorgeous landscaping and flowers everywhere -- the setting alone makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. We did a wine tasting and really enjoyed the wines. The Sauvignon Blanc was especially good -- crisp, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. The Pinot Noir was also a standout, smooth and easy to sip. You can tell they put care into their wines, and there was something for everyone in our group to like. The grounds are spacious and peaceful, with views, gardens, and plenty of spots to wander or sit and relax. It feels more like an experience than just a quick tasting stop.
