    Salad Kabob rice

Amazing Persian food. Very nice service by the man at the front delsk. He also took our order. Everything we ordered was great. We got cholow Kabob and also chicken kobedeh kabob, mast Museer, doigh (yougurt drink) Sabzee paneer, warm bread and bastani. The food came out quick and everything g was super delicious. The kabobs were soft and juicy and the rice was perfectly cooked. The bread was warm and simply delicious. We were surprised how good the food was. The price was average for this type of food I hope they keep up the good quality of the food and the quick friendly service.

This was my first time trying Persian food. I was with my coworkers who recommended this place as many other places were closed in the area (it was around 3 pm on a weekday--so bonus points for being open). When we came inside, we were greeted very warmly and seated quickly. Truth be told, I let my coworkers do all the ordering as I was absolutely clueless about what to order. The waiter was also very sweet and helped explain different dishes and gave recommendations to us. In the end, we ended up ordering a number of dishes, including a dip, salad, and two entrees. Even though I wasn't sure what was what, everything was delicious!

Attentive and friendly service! This restaurant has a nice upscale vibe to it, perfect for date nights or celebratory dinners. I went with a couple friends and we had their kabob koobideh and lamb shank. Oh my goodness, the lamb shank was soooo tender, literally fall off the bone, don't even need to chew tender. The koobideh was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Even the eggplant dip blew my mind! In addition to the amazing entrees, you get pita bread as an appetizer/pairing to absorb your sauces. Lastly, to wash it all down, please do yourself a favor and order a nice cardamom tea!

Had a nice dinner here after watching a movie at Bamfa. We didn't have a reservation but were seated quickly. We started with some water and ordered a tea and Joghurt soda. As entrees we chose the khoresht bodjeman and the fesenjoon. Food didn't take too long and was really good. The roasted eggplant was great as well as the lamb shank. The meatballs were tender and the sauce nicely flavored. The saffron rice was amazing, only the bread was a bid dry. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was a great meal overall.

Raul, their store manager has always been extremely friendly while also setting a high standard of generosity with the food portions. As a local resident who has come to this location about a dozen times, I've seen this standard of service be upheld by all staff members reliably across different times and days of the week, which is what has largely created such a consistently welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. This is more of a thank you post than a review. You're in for a treat if you visit this location.

The bread. Each of the three sandwiches had different breads, but all were incredible. This place understands a great sandwich, and every single ingredient was fresh, high quality, and absolutely delicious; bacon and turkey were thick, tuna was fresh, bread was hearty, peppers were freshly roasted. We had never tried this place, and they were out of my first choice. I decided to try the crispy chicken tacos. I didn't know I would be waiting like a half an hour to receive those tacos, cause no one told me they had to make more rice for the side. I went to check, that's when I found out. By the time I got my order, I had an appointment and had to take most of it to go. Crispy chicken tacos was not what I was I was expecting. Three flour tortillas, not crispy, with a crispy chicken tender in each, cabbage, and "some" green avocado salsa. The rice pilaf on the side was okay, but an alternative could have been suggested. Some fries, beans? IDK. I'd like to try more of the other menu items.

I think I just discovered my favorite restaraunt of all time in Berkeley. Though the exterior of…read morethe restaraunt is unassuming, and the building itself is quite small with limited seating, the interior is still very clean and neat, and the workers are very nice. I placed an online order for the C Chicken Momos and the Garlic Cheese Naan, which were both phenomenal. The naan was some of the best I've ever had. It was so fluffy, thick, and pillowy soft, and was not overly charred/thin or too crispy like other naan. Just pure doughy goodness. There was also a perfect amount of cheese filling--enough that you got the subtle kick of milky acidity, but not too overpowering. The naan itself was also not too greasy, and the garlic flavor was very aromatic. You could also taste a hint of the slight tartness from (I'm assuming) the yogurt used to make the naan. The "C" Chicken Momos came with eight large pieces, which is definitely enough to fill you up. The sauce tasted like a classic sweet-and-sour sauce with a very mild and pleasant spice. Also, because the dumplings were fried, they were crispy despite being covered in sauce, but still had a bit of the nice chew you would get from a steamed momo skin. The fillings themselves were also super flavorful: you get a herbal and fresh taste from the ginger, which balanced the tanginess of the sauce so the meal did not feel too heavy, and the subtle nuttiness and pepperiness of cumin in each bite. The dumplings also had some warm broth in them, which is perfect for a cold day. The prices are fair too. You can often find small discounts on Snackpass or delivery apps like GrubHub. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend!
