The Save-On Pharmacy is a good pharmacy for Kamikazes and the suicidal. I don't have 3 hours to write about all the ways these clowns have been incompetent. Mixed up Rx (dangerous), they close for lunch and are supposed to be back by 1pm but are always late getting back and are snotty and entitled about it if you're in line, "Come back later!!", seemingly no knowledge of insurance billing, rude, refused to fill Rxs, racist. I'm not even Mexican but am dark complected but all my Mexican friends/acquaintances in the area have expressed the same problems and this is known as a "racista" pharmacy. Stay away! read more

It has a large selection which is nice, but the whole store feels very old. It seems like nothing has been renovated in a long time. It's also pretty frustrating that there is no self checkout. What ever happened to greeting the customer at the register? This was yesterday 3/6/23 at 230pm , the cashier looked like a manager. He was wearing a shirt that I think someone in management would wear , maybe in his late 20's or 30's . I was 2nd in line and when it was my turn I got no greeting, no hello , no hi , no how's it going . After I paid with cash I got no thank you or no acknowledge at all , so I told him your welcome and walked out . Also there was an older gentleman in front of me and while he was struggling with his debit card the cashier was in a conversation with another employee , when the gentleman's debit card finally worked he was handed a receipt and the cashier never looked at the gentleman , he was still in a conversation with the other employee. The customer told the cashier thank you and the cashier never acknowledged him either . It is pretty disappointing this is how Albertsons trains their employees. When I went on yelp to write this review I saw other reviews similar to mine . So Dawn your the business manger, what is being done about this ? Obviously nothing . I was parched. After an afternoon's worth of roaming around the neighborhood looking at books, thrift stores and clothing stores over in the shopping center across the street, I was feeling a bit overheated and desired a cool beverage. I spotted Albertson's as I was leaving the parking lot and decided to kill two birds with one stone and hit up True Value Hardware and then the grocery store for a soda. If this wasn't the closest market to my house I would never go here. The staff is incredibly unmotivated. Every time you come in they'll be one or two registers open with a line. Doesn't if matter if there's two people in front of you or five it will take you 10 minutes at least to get to the register. Then you get a listen to the cashier or an employee complaining about their job or their day. I just stood in line for 10 minutes to watch one employee being rung up while chatting with the bagger and the cashier. Then a manager quickly opens another register and pulls two college students from the back of the line in so they won't have to wait?! Hideous, ugly, cheap looking cake. Illiterate employees couldn't even spell my daughters name correctly, it was written on the order sheet! The cake was frosted so thin, the cake underneath showed through all along the side and on top where they scraped the letters at their weak attempt to "fixed" their mistakes when my husband pointed out the misspelling... The "correction was still wrong! I will NEVER use their Bakery again. I will stay with "Joseph Thee Baker" from now on. read more

Overall a good supermarket. No complaints in general. However, in relation to COVID I saw at least 4 employees wearing a mask where their nose was not covered. That's not how masks work. It's bad enough that nobody was even enforcing mask policy or the one way aisles clearly marked. At least make the effort to have your all employees wear masks properly. read more

I don't know how many times I've gone to this store because of something they have on sale and then when I get there, they are out of stock on the sale item. The last time this happened, I asked when they will get some more, and I was told they don't know. So I go shopping for some eggs, Im there with my cousin, older daughter, and my man. There was a lady who was a little on the heavy side with black rimmed glasses and dark hair that was following me around after she informed me I could only get one pack of eggs..I didnt argue, I just grabbed my eggs and went about my way. My cousin grabbed a pack for his family, she stopped him at the checkout stand and said your mother (me) already has a pack. After a short debate he was able to purchase his. My man was in line in front of a lady with two packs of eggs in her basket and the lady with the dark glasses checked her out with no problem... Then the lady with the dark glasses put her little brunette friend up to shaking down my 10yr old daughter on my way out the store! (I was in the juice aisle) So after I check out I hear of the shenanigans and IMMEDIATELY speak to a manager! We are not thieves! We were not "dressed a certain way" or speak in a manner that we would stand out in this side of town..THERE WAS NO REASON OTHER THAN OUR SKIN COLOR to cause this woman to follow us around the store and shake down a 10yr old! This Albertsons is kind of like the Supreme Leader from Captain EO. Nicer on the inside than on the outside. It's in a dated strip mall, but looks fairly new inside. Lots of parking. Good produce department and generally good selection of other groceries. One really nice touch -- they have a small but good selection of craft beer (including the Bruery) in a cold case ready to go for those hot California summer (or winter) days (or nights). read more

I was shopping for a birthday cake for my husband and I ask the worker (Ally) what kind of cakes there were . So she proceeds and tells me they are both white cakes (which I was looking for ) then she tells me "if you are looking for tres leches there on the bottom there ." So me and my sister say that's not what we were looking for . Then she says "Well that's what YOU people usually ask for " . (Yes I am brown but I am Native American ) then me and my sister look at her in shock and ask her what she said and she said never mind I politely asked her name and proceed to the register . Ridiculous manager and employees and have no clue how to do business. Wouldn't honor a sale item which had no limits on it. Yes I wanted fifty. But you had to buy in quantity of 5s and they said trey would only honor 10 initially. I had to speak to manager and do arm twisting to get them to honor 20. I mean if this is the case, out a limit! When you bring your own bags and you have the nice thermal ones with a zip top .. why do the baggers I ignore what goes in what bag .. they just grab the open bag an start putting your salad vegetables with the cat food box items .. it use to be people took pride in what they do ..these kids could careless they look at you as a muscle man and fill the bags so you can barely lift them an you have plenty of bags to go around .. This is for the bakery. We recently had our daughter's 1st birthday. In the past, we've ordered cakes and deserts from high priced bakeries. This time, being new to this area, we decided to opt for the grocery strore for her smash cake and cupcakes. What a great decision. The cake and cupcakes were perfectly designed and tasted excellent. They were actually softer inside than the $4.00 (each) cupcakes we had at our son's 1st birthday. I would strongly recommend this store for deserts! Grocery store is okay. The food here is always super fresh and I've never had a bad experience until today. When this store got a complete overhaul several years ago I was impressed with the new layout and the increased choice in items for sale. Unfortunately it seemed to me that the prices went up considerably about the same time. Whereas I would buy at least one or two items there every week, now I rarely go in there. One of the main reasons I DO go into this Albertson's is because they sell money orders and charge one of the lowest fees for doing so. What really annoys me, however, is that I can stand at the service desk for 5 or 10 minutes and not get one person offer to help me. There is no bell to ring for attention so I usually have to ask a cashier to get someone to help me. One night recently I went in to get a Money Order and was asked to come back in twenty minutes because they were short-staffed and couldnt leave the checkout to assist me. I was in a hurry so this was very annoying to me. It seems that EVERY time I go in there for a Money Order it takes me at least 10 minutes to get something that should only take a couple of minutes at most. For this reason alone I can only give this store 2 stars. Sad really, as it is a really nice shop and the staff, when you can get their attention, are friendly and efficient. read more

We had an Albertsons gift card and decided to search for one in Orange, since we usually shop at Ralphs. Previously, Albertsons was usually pricier than Ralphs. But this place has deals GALORE! I am a sugar snob and LOVE my raw sugar. Tonight...it was on special for $1.99!! I bought two haha Normally it's $2.99 or more. But...the deals didn't stop there! We bought 36 items for abour $90! And they had good prices on many items we normally purchase. I was ecstatic. I think we found our new grocery store. It's well organized and well stocked. read more

Love this place! Everyone is so nice and friendly. My boyfriend and I do our shopping here a lot and all of the employees remember us and always say hello. This Albertsons has a wide variety of food for every type of eater and even has prosciutto (which, ahem, Vons does not). This particular store also carries quality beer from The Bruery, a local eatery in the neighborhood. A major grocery store carrying local goods? Plus. I adore walking around this place, browsing the aisles for food. The place has a familiar, cozy feeling that I'm sure has something to do with their awesome in-store team. read more

I was so pissed I forgot to look at her name tag - Hispanic girl with black winged eyeliner, who clearly has no customer service skills. Seemed a bit cluttered inside to be honest. Maybe it's just me but felt like a swap meet and it was major packed. The Bank of America posted outside on the building makes you think it's actually a branch/tellers but no it's an ATM and that's all. Fortunately customer service was helpful enough to give change but that's kinda a bummer that it's just an ATM. Starbucks inside and parking is always in my favor as I somehow always land a spot in the front row directly in front of the entrance which is nice. Self check out offered but of course always requires assistance. Lol! This is the closest Albertsons to me and I go here the least. My 1st experience here a few months ago at the deli was unpleasant. A simple request for an 8 piece of chicken seemed as if I was bothering him. he slowly grabbed cold chicken ( from the back counter) and handed it to me without saying anything. I always give a place more than one chance so I went back several times and the employees are just not as helpful or friendly as other Albertsons stores I've gone too. Today the employee at the check out knew the person in front of me and decided to have a full conversation with her even after she was done checking her out. She seriously stepped from behind the register and had a 5 minute conversation with this lady while me and other customers were in line. The kid bagging groceries and I even looked at each other like seriously. I started to back out of line but by now all the other registers had long lines. read more

Food was not fresh, i went there because it is about 2 miles from my house to buy bread and return redbox dvds. the bread had flies inside the paper bag. This is for the bakery. I yelped Albertsons near me and was sent to this store and called yesterday 3.26.15 about 3:36pm. I was transferred to the bakery dept and spoke to a female who said she wasn't from the bakery dept but could place my order. I requested 60 count Gourmet Plain sugar cookies with no sprinkles. I provided my name and cell number; The female repeated my order in which I confirmed this was to be picked up and ready by 2pm today 3.27.15 and off tustin. Correct. I called this morning to make sure my order was put in and was told they do not have my order and was told there are 3 stores in Orange. "You must have called another store" I specifically called this number yesterday and went to my recent call log and made sure this was the store. This was the store I called. Disappointed that they did not apologize nor offer to bake my order.Being a former employee for an Albertsons bakery, I would have offered to bake the order to make the customer happy. I will now be coming in hoping to find plain sugar cookies in the bags even though that is not what I was looking for. read more
