Our first time at Alberto's was a pleasant experience. We were surprised with the early dinner menu and the quality of the food as well as the glass of wine that accompanied the meal. We started our meals with cocktails, the pear martini was fabulous! The appetizer was plentiful, Burrata fresca con Prosciutto Cotto e Rucola Fresh Burrata Cheese served with imported cook Italian ham and arugula. The Tagliatelle Pasta with Pesto sauce and sauté U10 Scallops was delicious, although only 2 scallop's adorned the pasta it was delicious. The Taglierini Pasta with sauté Mushrooms and homemade Sausage was also very tasty and creamy. We will definitely return to Alberto's. read more

First let me say that we dined early for the "early bird menu". The ambiance and wait staff were exceptional. It's refreshing to see well trained wait staff and bar staff that can do their job with a smile and a bit of humor. The early bird menu had a good variety of items and included an appetizer, entree and a glass of wine. Everyone in our party of 4 completely enjoyed every bit of the meal. All items were exceptionally prepared and served with care. I really have nothing bad to say and we are looking forward to another visit soon. read more

Alberto's on Fifth was absolutely delicious. The butternut squash ravioli with sausage was delightful and the chef was accommodating to members of the party with dietary restrictions. Despite being on a busy street, the restaurant was a great spot for a nice dinner. The sangria was light and citrusy and went well with my meal. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fine Italian meal. Worth noting that I went with hard of hearing grandparents and it was difficult to have conversation. Worth chancing getting in without a reservation. Called to ask about early dinner hours and was told I'd need a reservation. Nothing available today! Really???? We were in the area and decided to arrive before reopening at 4:30 and hope for the best. We were second in line. Restaurant was full when we left around 5:30. Very attentive wait staff. Food delicious. Appetizers (mussels and other was beet salad) were excellent. My sliced steak with spinach and mash yummy as was my husbands pasta with sausage and mushroom. Restaurant was recommended so I'm glad we got in and were very pleased. $35 pp with wine and 2 courses. If we didn't get in, there was another packed restaurant across the street that looked good. Third time this year for early dinner with friends. Food and service was superior each time. I have been going to Albertos for 3 years and have never been disapointed . Possibly the worse place to go in naples or south Florida! I went there 2 months ago and ordered a mint Julio. The bald bartender informed me what liquor I wanted . I informed him makers mark and if he can put in a Pueter cup. He showed me the cup he would be using. I declined the drink and was going to order a Manhattan and he blew up and kicked me out of the restaurant and asked me not to come back? I can imagine if I started a fight or didn't pay the bill but this was totally unacceptable. I walked out but he through my car keys at me! I am droppi g a star. Came for dinner. I had the same 2 dishes that I had last year and the year before. Beet and shrimp salad: Presentation was sloppy. Shrimp are smaller and a couple of arugula leaves. The basalmic drizzle, I wouldn't even call it a drop. Veal Tenderloin slices with mushroom sauce and asparagus: Veal sliced much thinner than before. Mushroom gravy still excellent. Previously there was a small bouquet of mashed potatoes. NO MORE. Bread is still excellent, the glass of red wine acceptable and the service is still fine. Price is still low for the early dining special. I would have rather paid a few dollars more and not see the quality and presentation take a hit. Just my opinion. read more

Walking around on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, we noticed several seats at the bar available and sat down for a drink. What followed?? Deliousness and fantastic service. My husband and I had the best time eating and drinking and being so well attended to by Sophie. Never had to refill our own glasses once! KEEP HER! A mixed review of this restaurant. First, do not sit outside as you will not receive the same level of service as inside. Our waitress was absent most of the time. Food wise, my wife's meal of Salmon and crab was delicious. My short ribs on pasta was a lump of meat on dry noodles with little preparation. Now the really bad part. Got into argument with the manager because we complained about the lack of service when we had to move inside from the rain. The manager was unapologetic and blamed us for the lack of service. Furthermore, after the manager saw me leave, he proceeded to laugh with the waitress we complained about. I guess he didn't see that my wife was still there. In summary there are numerous options other than this place. I recommend that you visit other restaurants. read more

Our server was at our table the second we would make eye contact, but he was also alright with us just relaxing and talking with our friends for a while before we ordered anything. I ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli. The pasta was homemade and perfect. The spinach and cheeses where combined so delicately and in just the right amounts. The cream sauce was light and savory. I appreciated that they didn't pile the plate with pasta, as most places do. It's just too much food usually. This was just the right amount. The presentation was beautiful. With great expectations for Alberto's, it was disappointing to order a seafood pasta special and have the dish come out with almost raw scallops. Worse is having Viktor, the manager, say the plate came back with too much eaten. I really love everything about this restaurant. The ambiance is always welcoming, quiet, and happy. Tony was my waiter and he was incredible. I ordered the red snapper (my usual) and it was amazing.
