lil casual spot, the deal on rolls is really good so I was definitely satisfied esp for the price!!

I'm a regular at Sushi at the Park, but wanted to try something new. The Shumai were okay, but not much flavor without the sauce. My two rolls were definitely not worth the price they were marked, but with the 50% off of 2 or more, they were decent. I probably won't go back for sushi, but I might try the hibachi as it seemed several people around me ordered it. The restaurant is clean and quiet, tucked away in a unique location. The waitress was nice and guided me to two of the salmon rolls. Overall, if I could give a 3.5, I would.

We went there for the first time, looking for good bogi sushi and this is definitely our new spot . The place isn't fancy but the staff is super friendly and quick, and the food is delicious and the place is very clean

This has become of our favorite places right now for sushi and such. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and hot! We love the staff, they are always kind and friendly. Please believe - when dining in - you get your money worth when it comes to the food. We ALWAYS have left overs for lunch the next day. The make sure that when you are dining in your have hand sanitizer available and they do not sit everyone on top of each other. There is good spacing and you can telling they want you to feel comfortable and safe while dining with them. If it is your first time, get the box. This will allow you to get a sample of various things on the menu for a good price. Speaking of pricing, they have good pricing overall for their selections. Oh! PLLEEEAASSEE try the miso soup. It is sooooooo good.

I had the Ultimate Rainbow Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll Special, Sakura Drop Roll, Lotus Blossom Roll Special, and Famous Roll Special. Out of the ones I've tried, my favorite were the Lotus Blossom and Sakura Drop Roll. 4/5. Overall the sushi rolls were decent and low-key. Not the best I've had but not the worst either. Each roll is expensive but if you buy 2 or more rolls, rolls are 50% off. Plenty of seating. Ambiance was okay, nothing fancy. Service was okay.

Cute and hidden place! Went here for this first time and thought the food was very tasty! I got a simple sushi one but it tasted really good! And cheap! There was a 50% off with the rolls but I decided to try more things. Want to come back to try the other rolls though!

Ordered through the yelp app/ grub hub. Best decision I made. The sushi platter I order was fresh and delicious. I mean melt in my mouth delicious. So impressed to get quality sushi in NC. Was a little tricky to find, GPS too me to the back of the building. So here's the tip. Park where everyone else is in the front of the shopping center. Easy parking.

For the price and quality, you just can't beat this place! Sushi is never inexpensive, and that goes for this place as well. However, I felt like the sushi quality was much better than what you can find at other sushi places around the triangle area for the same price! The rolls are 50% off when you get 2 or more rolls, which is a great deal for a larger group of people! They also have sooo many options of rolls, and they have nigiri and sets as well, that are great. They have menu items aside from sushi too, in case you're going with a group where someone doesn't like sushi. I have to come back for their bento boxes sometime!

The service was prompt and polite. The ambiance is okay, though the disposable silverware and styrofoam cups cheapened the experience. The food was good but it's just not really worth it for the price. I can tell it was higher quality than normal hibachi but the quality difference isn't equal to the $10 price increase.

Disappointing hole-in-the-wall with nothing to offer. To say that I am shocked about the quality of this restaurant is an understatement. Considering the reviews, you'd think it would be a great experience. It was not. The atmosphere was terrible. There were ugly table covers and styrofoam cups. Felt like I was eating at a family reunion. The service was terrible as well. We were not acknowledged after sitting down; it was completely dead. Our waitress then proceeded to have an attitude with us, and talk down to us like we had no idea what we were talking about when we asked questions. The dishes at this restaurant are not accurate at all. For example, the so-called katsudon is actually a curry rather than the traditional dish itself. The sushi prices were absolutely exorbitant for shitty quality. How can a california roll be priced at $11? The nigiri I ordered, however, was surprisingly cheap which made no sense considering the price point of the other sushi. It was horrible though, tasting stringy and with an odd aftertaste. Another party member ordered ramen and absolutely hated it. The noodles tasted like they had been boiled in contaminated tap water. Thus, you couldn't PAY ME to come back here, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Looking for a soFISHsticated place to grab some sushi? Akashi is one of the few places I can find these days that still has a sushi deal. It's 50% off all sushi rolls when you order at least three per two people. I can't say it's the best sushi I've had in my life, but it is good for a good deal and is sure to satisfy that sushi craving of yours

The best deal for sushi in the triangle. Take it from someone who has eaten at nearly all of them.

The talent and fresh perspective you bring to American Japanese cuisine deserves to be honored, praised and frankly, worshiped by the other "sushi" restaurants in this area. Shijiri is wholely unique in it's take on Japanese cuisine as it serves it's meals very similarly in style to what you'd get in Japan, in "sets". This means your fish will come with sushi rice, soup, salad and other goodies that pair with the main course. You can order some fish a la carte but the beauty of this restaurant lies within the sets. You might scoff at the prices, but the prices "include" tip because they do not allow tipping in this restaurant. And, you get PLENTY of food in each set. The price points are extremely reasonable. The lack of tipping does not dilute the service, either. Just like in Japan, the service is top notch and the two times we've been here so far, it has been amazing. The first time we went here we got the Shijiri gallery and we're blown away by the fish and how fresh it tasted. The second time we went we got the signature and the kama. I can't say enough about how good the kama was. This collar was huge, with perfectly crispy skin and smooth buttery meat. The salmon belly and shrimp it came with we're equally cooked to perfection. I don't know how I'm gonna order anything else now that I've had it, it was so insanely good. The signature, though, was not on the same level as the gallery. I can't be certain, but I believe they serve the prime cuts of fish with the gallery and the less than prime cuts with the signature. I felt like the fish in the signature had a more metallic taste than what we got in the gallery. This could be a one off, though. The first time we came we were gifted a plum ice finisher, like their version of an Andes mint but it was plum and yuzu flavored shaved ice. Oh em gee, it was so stinkin' good! I was bummed when we didn't get it the second go. The restaurant itself is small and they fill up quick. The service is fast though, so I don't think you'd be waiting too long if there was a wait on a busy night. Be aware that the chairs are backless, but most tables have a booth component so if you're like me and need a back to your chair to be comfortable, you can sit on the booth side. The restaurant has been extremely clean when we've been there. The back area where the bathrooms are is cluttered and really the only stain in the restaurant as a whole. The bathrooms themselves are emaculate, though. Hopefully they find a way to utilize the space better and declutter that back area. In summary: go here.

The broth had great depth, the spice provided a nice kick, loved all the different toppings but I do think there could have been more pork. - Tonkatsu Ramen (Signature rich pork broth, pork belly, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, green onion, 1/2 seasoned soft-boiled egg, thin straight noodles): Same great broth as the tan tan, chashu was perfectly fatty and tender, liked all the toppings again. The noodles themselves didn't really stand out to me. - Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box (Dashimaki, shrimp shumai, salad, pickles, rice, miso soup): Ehh... this was fine, but I'd definitely skip it next time. For the price, the quantity and quality of everything but maybe the chicken (which was smoky but way too sweet) was lackluster. - Chicken Curry Don (Panko breaded chicken cutlet, Japanese-style curry sauce, potato, carrot, onion, nori): The chicken was crispy, but quantity was so small. Curry was tasty, but inadequately warmed. - Raindrop (Plant-based ice jelly, brown sugar syrup, soybean powder): Such a unique dessert- ofc the visual is great, but the texture was interesting and it was subtly sweet too. Ambiance is nice, but the space is pretty small. Service was fast and friendly. There's plentiful parking. 7.5/10 would recommend!

Very thin dry, and small portion with basic sauce. Tonkatsu portion was smallest I've ever seen. Taste very mediocre. Service: twice here. Service is generally slow. Polite staffs but slow. Following that the omakase service started with miso soup which was hot and fresh, followed by the different pieces of sushi. There was a variety from blue fin tuna, to sea bream, to Norwegian Sea trout. My favorite was a tie between the seared salmon belly and toro blue fin. We also ordered a bottle of Born Gold Junmai Daliginjo (Rich, smooth, fruit and grain forward) which paired excellently with the meal. We got a mixture of the small plates and rolls including the nigiri (delightful!), tuna crispy rice (my 2nd favorite), dumplings, bao bun (one cut in half), the rainbow roll, and the unagi roll. While I thought the nigiri and tuna crispy rice were amazing - both tasted fresh - overall, the food was just fine. I think our experience could just be based on pure preference.
