The rest of the staff is hard working and actually treat me well no matter what because I've had them attend to me when the cashier is late or ignoring me and I understand what they say so she must be family or something because anywhere else she would be gone asap. Ambience is fine but kinda boring the couple of times I dined in I noticed the tables sticky and dust on seats and I think they could be wiped down better and also maybe the seats being rearranged. Bathroom is sadly disgusting I would hold it till you get home! I think if they had a better cashier that actually cleaned tables and attended to people well no matter if they tip or not they would do a lot better and possibly increase their income with more clients because the cooks are great and the food at least the stuff I get has always been great! We each ordered a cocktail to start and loved the Japanese spins on some American classics. We also ordered seaweed salad, which was pretty standard, and the Korean Mandoo. The true star of the show was the Mandoo broth! We not-so-jokingly said we'd love a cup of the broth to go, it was that good. Sushi-wise, we ordered 2 rolls: Paradise and Amberjack. Both were good, had 8 pieces, and I especially loved the fresh mango in the Paradise roll. Still hungry, we ordered another round of cocktails and at the recommendation of our waiter, ordered the Negi Toro roll. It was by far my favorite, but definitely the priciest one. Its presentation was beautiful, but the gold flake decoration seemed a little over the top. It also only comes with 5 pieces, which isn't mentioned in the description. Service was pretty good, although our waiter did disappear for a while after dropping off the check. We weren't in a rush (only trying to make it to the car before the sky opened up), so it wasn't a big deal, but this could also be another new restaurant learning curve.
