    Salad and sushi
    Tara Z.

Sushi Dinner | $30-50 We ordered miso soup ($6), a salad ($10), 3 rolls Aloha, Crunch Dragon, paradise, ($35), and sake ($27). The tuna was chop meat style (like cat food consistency)- yuck. The crab was shredded too vs a piece/stick.She did give a free serving of green tea ice cream. We were the only ones in here for dinner. Lots of take out orders. Not impressed, was recommended by Foodie Group we belong to. Toilet had dirty ring. Mens room equally nasty. Not our best sushi dining experience for $91.

Shogun combo. It was slow so he granted me my faves of salmon, octopus and squid.

As a hard core sushi/sashimi connoisseur, trying amazing sushi from all over Asia to living in California for over 25 years, I've had bad, mediocre, good and outstanding sushi, so needless to say I am a little picky. My grading scale depends on size of cuts and flavors of fish, and definitely quality over quantity. And I have to be honest when I say for a restaurant being in a very non de script and odd location, that makes one question the quality of the fish. Well I'm here to say please don't let their locale deter you from trying their sushi! I came on a wed and the fish was amazing. I had the shogun combo and was throughly surprised. I sat at the bar and the chef provided me with some of my favorite fish even though he didn't need to. He even told me their best fish of the day. The cut sizes were not too big but not tiny. The rice was a tiny bit thicker than I would like but definitely not bad and not over filling. There was a totally fresh taste in each bite. This place is a real gem and I look forward to coming back very soon!

Probably the best sushi place in Chapel Hill! Variety of options although with the pandemic in general prices increased to $30/3 rolls and $50/5 rolls and it's take out only. The variety of sushi is really great, garlic albacore, baked salmon, ultimate albacore are reliable unique choices.

The Crunch Dragon Roll, New Orleans Roll, and The Nikko Roll

I like Sushi Nikko. A few things I think you have to know going in - the rolls are incredibly Westernized so there is a lot of tempura and sauce involved, there is no BOGO but the rolls are huge and filling, the atmosphere is really plain and super casual but it's really quiet inside and you don't have to worry about big crowds. I've been a handful of times and, although I can definitely admit that it isn't the best quality sushi in the area, I typically leave satisfied and happy about my visit. Tonight my husband and I split the Nikko Roll, the Crunch Dragon Roll, and the New Orleans Roll. At most sushi places, three rolls between the two of us wouldn't feel like quite enough food, but these rolls were enormous and we left stuffed. The only downside to such large rolls is that the size makes them difficult to eat with chopsticks and inevitably I end up looking ridiculous having to break the roll into smaller bites. The rolls were tasty tonight, but I was a little disappointed with the tempura-fried elements, as they all tasted like they had been fried a bit earlier in the evening, so none of them were remotely warm or particularly crunchy. Is Sushi Nikko my favorite sushi place? No, but it hits the spot when I just want some decent sushi for a reasonable price. It seems to be a popular spot for to-go orders, more so than dining in.

Honestly this is my favorite sushi place in the area. Their deals are INCREDIBLE and the sushi is even better! They are my go to. They are also very sweet. I highly recommend.

Absolutely not. No. I absolutely adore sushi and am truly hurt I spent $25 of my money on this. It was not good at all. The fish did not taste fresh at all, the eel sauce had no flavor and the rolls were way too large. Almost too the point where it was unmanageable to eat. Ugh...I'm just hurt. Please save your money. I wanted to try a new place closer to me that had good reviews but yall truly led me astray. Please try somewhere else.

My first two rolls took a while to come out, but I think that was because one of the rolls I ordered was fried. My last two rolls came out much quicker and I ordered those one at a time. AYCE dinner was $26.99, and I felt like I got my moneys worth with 26 pieces of sushi (10 of those pieces were HUGE pieces of sushi too). Appa Roll (5): This roll was pretty, green, and tasty! I loved the shrimp tempura and avocado combination. Even though this was a 5 piece roll, the pieces were big, so it was just as filling as the standard 8 piece. TNT Roll (5): I enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't get this one again because it is fried and has cream cheese (too filling when you are trying to do AYCE). I really liked the mango in the roll, so I want to try their other rolls with mango! The pieces were huge, this roll was more filling than the standard 8 piece. Chapel Hill Roll (8): My favorite roll of the night, I loved the different fish on top and the avocado was delicious. Salmon Lover Roll (8): If you like salmon and avocado, this roll is for you! A lot of other salmon forward rolls have cream cheese, so I loved that this one had avocado instead. Delicious! I look forward to coming back with a friend or my husband so we can share rolls and try even more varieties!

I gave this location a 3 because they are so different and don't give you what the other locations give you. We chose that part as we enjoyed watching our food being prepared and we wanted a little entertainment while we were having our lunch. We ordered the hibachi shrimp with vegetables, fried rice and salad. The salad came with a couple of options for dressings and I chose the ginger and this was delicious. The salad was fresh and a good portion. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, the zucchini and mushrooms were exactly the way I like them prepared. The shrimp was cooked very well and the shrimp were fresh and plump. I love the sauce that you get when you order hibachi food and they gave us plenty. Our server was very nice and attentive he came back and checked on us brought us drinks when we were running low. They asked if we we we're celebrating a birthday or an anniversary and I said a birthday. At the end of the meal, a group of the staff came out and sang a song in Japanese and played a bongo and served a scoop of sherbet. It was really cute. And we enjoyed the entertainment of our food being prepared. This restaurant is clean and neat and we enjoyed our lunch today. I will be back.
