Kristina B.

Tried their iced Monkey Mocha (banana & chocolate), and it had the perfect sweetness. The banana and chocolate syrups weren't as strong in flavor as I'd hope for, I do wish there was more. But I think people who don't like an overly sweetened flavored coffee would like this! The strength of the coffee itself was mild and not bitter, which is pleasant! Also got a cheese croissant, which was warmed up. It was just okay. I would probably come back to try other latte flavors! Great, friendly service too.

Well, not super impressed. The iced cappuccino didn't taste like coffee at all. The espresso machine wasn't even used to make it. The strawberry smooth was ok. Muffins were from costco. Service was fast and nice. It's a cute place to stop for a quick coffee.

I've always passed by this place and never had a chance to stop by. This morning I finally had time and asked the nice barista what to get if I like brown sugar coffee drink that's not too sweet. She suggested iced brown sugar ribbon. Which is a latte drink. I asked her to make it not too sweet and she said absolutely. For a large it's a total of $7. It tastes great maybe still a bit too sweet for me but not undrinkable. They didn't put too much ice which is perfect. And it is very creamy. I asked her when is the store's busy times and she said rush is 8,10 and 12. So keep that in mind when heading over.

I headed here because I love supporting independent coffee shops. And drive-thru places are so convenient! It had great reviews too. I ordered a hot vanilla latte, light on the vanilla. I love sweet drinks but some places make it sooo sweet and I didn't want to risk it. Yet, this latte was still extremely sweet and I couldn't drink it sadly. I couldn't taste the coffee at all over the sweetness. I ordered my husband an iced chai latte and noticed lots of sugar resting at the bottom of the cup. That is totally fine, I figured it just needed a stir. To test if the rest of the drink's sweetness level, I took a sip well above the sugar layer and it was wayyyy too sugary. This drink got dumped out as well. The Batista was very friendly and the conscience factor give it a few stars but sadly this was not my favorite.

AJ's Coffee is such a low key drive through spot. You honestly wouldn't even think twice about it unless you randomly stumble upon it, but it's actually a hidden gem. Their matcha is really good. I recommend getting it with extra matcha and one pump of vanilla. That combo never fails. It's one of my favorite places to stop when I'm on that side of Dublin. It gives me Dutch Bros vibes but more low key and chill. Perfect for a quick pick me up without the long lines

Brandy G.

The convenience sells!! I swear the only drive through drink place that exists is Starbucks and I'm so over their over priced and low quality drinks! AJs has such a delicious matcha latte and I add lavender in it so 11/10 drink! I love how smooth their matcha is and I'm impressed at how Tilly they turn customers here! I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes but I also have never come at peak times. Also I think their prices are pretty reasonable! Love this place and will be a customer for a while

Maria J.

Love this drive up coffee stand. Super cute on the outside with 2 drive up windows. Never a long wait, everything I've ordered has been delicious, and they have a lot of options and don't mind customizing anything! Matcha is sooo yummy! They offer dairy free milk options and have lots of good food items to choose from! I wish they had some kind of point/reward system because I know I'll be coming here a lot!

One of the best coffee shops I've visited! The coffee was delicious, the quality was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Service was amazing! we had a very friendly guy helping us. Now, that aside, the coffee was too sweet even though I asked for it lightly sweetened. The chocolate croissant was dry (old), probably a few days old at this point. The cinnamon rolls were dry too. I tried eating the center because I thought it would be soft, well, let me tell you, it was not. So I think the concept is good, but management is being cheap with quality. The nice workers can only do so much with what they have.

Noopur D.

I was in the area one hot day and was searching for a sweet treat near me before heading home - this popped up and had great reviews, so I gave it a shot and it did not disappoint!! Super convenient, cute little coffee drive through with lots of options and the girl working there was really sweet and helped me out with her suggestions. I wanted an iced decaf sweet option so she led me to the raspberry white which I already had my eye on - it was sooo good!! Perfect flavor and sweetness for me and felt so refreshing in the heat. Prices are also so reasonable, I've been feeling fed up with spending over $7 on mediocre coffee. Definitely check this place out!

Supposedly coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, sweetener?

Ruth V.

Ordered a Mexican mocha.. I have's ordered many times in the past. The drink was horrible. Tasted like watered down coffee with. No chocolate, no cinnamon. No flavor. WTH???There was no working phone number to call them. Now I've gotta go back and let them know in person that I want a refund!

Sherelle L.

SOOOO BOMBBBBB! Literally in the first sip you can taste the quality of the beans they use and baby this latte woke me up ! It was smooth, not too sweet, and made with excitement! The service for a drive thru was amazing ! She was so friendly and welcoming you can tell she actually loves what she does which was nice! They need to make their way to Texas and open up a spot there for me to go to on a regular :)

Rola W.

Me and my husband are on a road trip. We decided to make a pitstop by AJ's coffee, we met a young lady name Sophia. She was sweet patient. We ordered the decaf iced vanilla latte, which was really good. And my husband ordered the caffeinated hot vanilla latte, we also ordered plain bagels with cream cheese. Also also want to include that I did get a chocolate croissant. Was it a huge fan of it honestly. But overall, everything else was great. It was easy to drive up and it was quick and it was a cute little shop.

I can't believe I've never been to this spot before, considering I always drive by it! I'm certainly glad I did so, because it was such a wonderful experience. They were very good about COVID precautions; they were masked up, sanitary, and efficient (the drinks were ready in literally 2 minutes) They were also super kind about adjusting pumps / customizations. AJ's has an amazing alternative milks selection (Macadamia milk, hello!). Secondly, the menu is so vast and creative!! The caffeine content is no joke either. I just got a regular iced latte with macadamia nut milk (yum!) but I'll have to try the Hazelnut Latte, Dirty Chai, and Mexican Mocha because those sound amazing. read more

I've been going almost daily since trying out the drive through AJ's coffee. There's always no line and very speedy service. I get the Iced Caramel Hazlenut latte, and it's delicious. Definitely pricier than a typical Starbucks trip, but it's great to be supporting small businesses and the lightning speed service is a huge perk. read more

Absolutely stoked that they opened a location in Dublin! When living in Hayward I'd often make a trip to that location but now it's a little out of the way so I was extremely happy to find out they had opened a new location much closer to me. Absolutely amazing hazelnut iced coffee. I have been hoping a coffee shop would open here for some time now. Love the drive up feel and supporting a small family owned business. Really enjoyed the coffee here! Ordered my usual large, plain coffee and was delighted by the flavor! Most likely a medium roast with notes of graham cracker. Had a hint of cinnamon flavor with also the vanilla sweetness. As the coffee cooled, it gave way to this nice buttery-ness. A very enjoyable cup of coffee. I plan on going back for another. TL;DR: I want to go back for another cup. read more

Hi! Former employee here. The owner of this shop is an absolute pyscho and still owes me money from the time working there (about $300). He literally tried to get way with not paying me for days I worked because he is cheap. Also pretty sure there are health code violations. He made us wash the tongs and bagel cutter in the same gallon of soap water we would "wash" the dirty rags in. ew. Also almost all the pastries are from costco. He buys them in bulk and keeps them in the fridge. He is literally selling you an old stale costco muffin he bought in bulk. He was a terrible employer who screamed at me in his language so I wouldn't know what he way saying. read more

I've been to Aj's Coffee drive thru in Dublin twice now and both times have ordered this Large Mad Aj's frappe. We get such great service and our coffee is so well made. The frappe has such amazing and rich consistency! The first 10 sips are the exact same as the last 10 sips. Maybe I just have great timing but I've never had to wait in line here. This place is a gem - I've seen the menu. I'd rather go here than Starbucks any day of the week. read more

The server then tells me there's additional.25 cents for cars!!! Are you kidding me!! Wonderful! Tried Aj's coffee when we ran out of creamer at the house, and it was magical! Lots of options, fun flavors to try, and lots of dairy free options are a nice addition. The Monkey Mocha is worth a try but even their basic lattes are great. Tip: anything with the word "snowy" means they use white chocolate. We came here and ordered 4 drinks with no line in front of us. Maybe online orders delayed the entire process but it took forever to get our drinks. The place is small and smelled like cleaning chemicals mixed with tea smells. No real seating and no bathroom to use. The storefront is small and inside even smaller and narrow. The quality of the Matcha is super low quality and very bitter. While most places premix their matcha, the matcha here tasted gross and very bitter. Tasted old. The ones who ordered the matcha drinks didn't even finish half the drink before they tossed it. Such a waste for an expensive drink. Compared to boba guys, this place isn't even in the same universe. Everything seems low quality and the prices are just as or more expensive in comparison. We went here because it was closer to the event we were attending but live and learn, the drive to bishop would have been worth it. And lastly they don't modify any of their drink orders such as less or more ice... or even sweeter less sweet. This is not the norm with how many other shops have options to customize drinks to order. With how poor quality and balanced the drinks were, they may benefit from some adjustments. Long story short = low quality not worth the price. Will not return and will stick with the tried and true staple in the area Boba Guys

I recently tried their Iced Americano, and it was outstanding. The coffee was bold, smooth, and perfectly balanced--no bitterness or sourness, just a clean, rich espresso flavor that really shines through. The ice didn't water it down too quickly, and the strength was just right to give that refreshing boost without being overpowering. If you're a fan of strong, quality coffee with a crisp finish, this Iced Americano is definitely worth it. Highly recommended! read more
