Ordered large mango smoothie on 07/03/2021 at 3:30pm. A female and a male employee working. Female employee helped me, there was only one car on the other side. $8 for a large smoothie. Huge lumps of ice in my smoothie(check photo), didn't blend it enough. Ordered no whip cream, got whip cream, blue straw is too small that your lips will have to touch the lid to drink last 1/4th portion of your beverage and lid is too loose, may be it's not meant for this cup, i had to hold cup and lid together with my hand while driving so lid doesn't come off. Didn't know expresso at a drive thru coffee place can taste so good! It was perfect with oat milk and sugar free hazelnut. First time here and was figuring the drive thru situation but basically there are two sides and you can order from both sides by just looping around the lil shack. They have a huge menu of drinks and everything sounded so enticing. There's also a ton of pastries options available as well. The barista was super nice and helpful to us! Will be back! 11/4/20 Visit during COVID: Finally got the combo right. Customized to perfection: dirty coconut chai latte, less water. Apparently, adding coffee to my chai makes it dirty. I was skeptical at first but it was good. I was hooked with my first sip. Now gotta work on personalizing my 2nd fave, Mexican mocha, extra spicy. Having a drive-thru is awesome during this pandemic. Shorter lines than the green mermaid joint across the street. Great staff. Happy to support this local business. We have gone to AJs more times than I can count. Their drinks are really good, I especially like the blended and iced options. I subtracted one star only because the drinks aren't consistent. Sometimes they are amazing, other times they are milky or don't have enough syrup. I always order ahead and the drinks are usually ready by the time I get there. read more

Came to try for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Girl up front wasn't too friendly. I asked for a salted caramel white chocolate latte. I suspect I did not receive a latte and got drip coffee with syrup instead. I say this for two reasons. Reason number one being there was an inch of settled unincorporated syrup on the bottom. I ended up spilling the coffee on my pants while trying to mix it myself. Reason number two, the taste. The taste was very acidic similar to drip coffee. It was not anything similar to the many espresso shots I've had in my lifetime. Overall if you're a fan of drip coffee this place is for you however if you're seeking a smooth espresso flavor you will not be satisfied. read more

In high school I would always see this drive thru coffee (formerly Mr. Bean/Dr.Bean??). Since I was back in the area, I decided to give it a try one morning. There is one person operating in there and she was very sweet and friendly. I got a small coffee black but it was super watery and just tasted like bitter water. I couldn't bring myself to finish it after about 7 sips. Despite this, however, I bumped this up to 3 stars because I mentioned their zebra mocha seemed quite yummy since it's a combo of white and dark chocolate! I mentioned I don't like coffee too sweet or milky. To my surprise, she offered to cut the milk for me and lessen the syrup. I said maybe next time, but that was a nice gesture since most places would prefer to just skip the hassle. Service is quick since it's drive thru, and there aren't many mom/pop coffee shops like this in Dublin. I think their sweeter coffee drinks are probably tasty but the black coffee I had just didn't hit the mark. read more

I love spending my Tuesday's before work searching for good coffee places. I am so glad I found this place! The first tome I came here, I tried the Oreo frapp. It was not as sweet as I expected, which is a relief because I thought it would taste like a sugar bomb! Don't get me wrong, I love sweets, but it bums me out when a drink is too sweet, and I end up not finishing it because I don't want to slip into a coma lol. The sweetness was perfect and the caffeine gave me the perfect boost! (You can get this drink without the caffeine). The second time I came here, I tried the caramel macchiato--definitely on the sweeter side, but still really good! I think I'll try the iced red velvet next time. Whenever I go the baristas working there are always so kind, they take time to individual each experience and even remember customers who frequent. The drinks always taste amazing and even when they are out of certain foods they make sure to recommend other foods like it or let you know ALL the options they do have. Although this is just a little quirk, it is something most places don't actually do. Overall you can tell they truly care about the service and customer interactions. When I asked her why she said AJ told her that "customers" took priority over Uber? What do they think Uber is picking up for? I actually ran into AJ a few minutes ago outside his place in Dublin. He acted like a thug and doubled down on the idea that Uber customers are not customers. Also, my own personal experience here...they don't know how to make anything but regular coffee. I can't believe I've never been to this spot before, considering I always drive by it! I'm certainly glad I did so, because it was such a wonderful experience. They were very good about COVID precautions; they were masked up, sanitary, and efficient (the drinks were ready in literally 2 minutes) They were also super kind about adjusting pumps / customizations. AJ's has an amazing alternative milks selection (Macadamia milk, hello!). Secondly, the menu is so vast and creative!! The caffeine content is no joke either. Hi! Former employee here. The owner of this shop is an absolute pyscho and still owes me money from the time working there (about $300). He literally tried to get way with not paying me for days I worked because he is cheap. Also pretty sure there are health code violations. He made us wash the tongs and bagel cutter in the same gallon of soap water we would "wash" the dirty rags in. ew. Also almost all the pastries are from costco. He buys them in bulk and keeps them in the fridge. He is literally selling you an old stale costco muffin he bought in bulk.
