I just want to say that Pete @airkewld is one of the best vendors to deal with. He is always willing to talk with you on the telephone or respond to your emails. I called to purchase a complete air ride system from him late last year and told him I really liked the looks of his BAD series brakes but they were a little rich for my blood, so I would probably just get some standard disk conversion kits from another vendor. He told me that he could work out a deal for me if I bought everything at one time from him. After some discussion about the various items I was interested in, I purchased the complete air ride system, BAD series brakes front and rear, and his "Ultimate" 4" narrowed front beam. He gave me discount enough on everything that I basically paid less for the brakes than I would have for just run-of-the-mill disk brakes from somewhere else. The brakes and air ride kit came in very quickly and were beautiful quality and workmanship. The beam took a bit over a month to get, but I knew this going in as it was around Christmas and he was back ordered on them. He actually sent out an email that showed the list of names waiting on beams, so you could know where you were on the list. He updated it every couple of days showing whose had shipped and the expected ship dates for those remaining. Talk about customer service! I also ordered from him this year his Iron Cross billet hood hinges and gas struts, and for Christmas I got Iron Cross jack hole plugs and a Tee-shirt. I plan to get a hard line kit from him in two months when I start my engine build. AirKewld is a fantastic benefit to the custom VW world, and I highly recommend them to anybody. Pete is not only knowledgeable with his products but the VW's themselves, he has always been very helpful with any questions that i have posed to him. His technical articles are equally helpful, i dont know how many other companies out there will post do it your self articles that actually help you with your project with out trying to sell you something or their services. I have met Pete at the last VW Classic and was just as personable with me and all that came up to his booth with questions galore. What really blew me away was that he knew who I was when i introduced myself and we had only emailed a few times and talked on the Sunday Night chats for a few weeks. With as many people that he deals with, it really impressed me.
