I honestly had high hopes for this place. I'd seen their work on Instagram, and some friends…read morerecommended them, so I thought I'd be in good hands. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. PROS 1. Affordable prices: Definitely cheaper than a dealership. 2. Strong social media presence: They post videos of their work, which some people might like for transparency. 3. They seem knowledgeable: Based on their work online, they clearly know what they're doing. CONS 1. Terrible communication: I dropped my car off at 11 AM and didn't hear anything until I texted them at 5 PM. No updates, no calls, nothing. 2. Disrespect for your time: If I'd known they wouldn't even start on my car until the evening, I wouldn't have wasted my entire day without it. I live far away and had to arrange rides back and forth. 3. No clear process: After the inspection, I didn't get a proper report, just an Instagram DM listing what was wrong with my car. There was no real explanation or discussion. 4. Unprofessional behavior: When I finally went to pick up my car, the mechanic wasn't even there. I had to wait another hour, and a kid ended up handing me my keys. 5. Ended up costing more: I had to take my car to another mechanic because I couldn't trust them to handle it, so I wasted even more money. I feel so disappointed, not just because of the wasted time, but because I went in really wanting this to work out. There's nothing worse than feeling like your time and money don't matter to someone who's supposed to be providing a service. I read the reviews and noticed this has happened to others too, so it seems like a pattern. The mechanic knows what he's doing, and it's obvious he cares about building his image and growing his business. But they need to work on respecting people's time and communicating better. I personally won't be coming back, but I truly hope they improve, because they have the potential to be so much better.

It's rare to find an auto shop you can truly trust, and Olympian Auto Repair is exactly that. Joe is incredible, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for dependable, professional, top-notch auto repair.

We had an appointment scheduled for 11am and so like any normal person I was waiting at least 40 mins for them to come and 2 mins before our appointment I get a text saying that "randy is stuck in blah blah blah and that they would be able to come around 6" so they call me when they are at the spot where my car is at 5:55 saying there were there. So I had my step dad run Them out my keys well I was rushing to meet them there they maybe had to wait seven minutes tops and so I called to apologize telling him that my stepdad was outside waiting for them and then I'll be there shortly and I believe it's his wife but I could be wrong the owners answer the phone saying nope I'm not waiting it's too hot and hung up on me. So if you were smart I would definitely take your business else where because they were super rude and unprofessional. I wish them nothing but the best but will never recommend them to anyone. If I could give zero stars I would. That's how unprofessional and rude this lady was. So sad she can treat someone like this after they had me waiting over a half hour but yet couldn't wait 10 mins for me. Ha what a joke.

On top of that, I'm a teacher and all my friends--I mean ALL--were out of town for the summer, so I had no ride home from and back to the shop after dropping off my car. When I was about to call a cab, they said don't be silly we'll drive you back and bring your car to you when it's done. I was blown away by this family's generosity and commitment to help their customers, not just make money. My car seems to be doing great, and I definitely recommend Johnson Automotive to anyone! :)

They even gave me a free inspection on the trail since I was new to all this. I stuck it in the glove box and didn't think much of it. Later I took the Jeep out on the same trail with a friend and something felt off. That Monday I took it in and had Josh look at it. He put it on the rack and found a ton of stuff I never would have known to look for. The undercarriage was shot. Long story short, we did a full build. They pulled the bottom half of the Jeep off and went back with a Metal Cloak game changer, Fox shocks, new Rubicon axles with lockers and a switch to engage them, RPM steering, and the works. They also did the differentials, the transfer case oil, brakes, and new wheel studs. I had Molle racks, decals, and a Starlink Mini put on too. Later I asked them to keep an eye out for a set of 17" beadlock wheels and they found me some for a third of the price. We put on 37" tires and regeared to 4.88s, and now she rides like a dream. It's my jacked up Cadillac on the back roads. Not only is the work exceptional, the service and communication were great too. The only hiccup was parts taking a while to come in, and that's on manufacturing, not them (I'm just impatient, lol). They've also helped me out on the trail. They wouldn't let me go on the big run before because they said I'd tear the Jeep up and needed a few things to do it safely. Now that it's done, for now, they invited me on the big boy run. These guys have been a huge asset to me and I consider them family. Great group of guys, great place to hang out, and phenomenal work. 5 stars.
