Went in for a simple ask, I need a windshield wiper blades and to have them installed. I am vertically challenged lol. Staff member Todd was extremely helpful, explained to me all the different options that were available to me. And installed them quickly and with ease. I'm a little bit particular about people working on and around my truck, I'm afraid of scratches from belt buckles or pocket knives, etc. he was extremely cautious and mindful of my vehicle ensuring no scratches. To the Manager: Is there a limit or do you really get full of engine oil to dispose of? This is the 2nd time we get turned away. Even after taking them to the back ourselves as a favor to your staff. We don't live around the corner to keep accommodating your lazy staff. We had to come home with more than half the oil we took. Could they have not been kept in the oil containers we took them in until your canister is "empty"??? Business should be available up to closing time, otherwise adjust your hours to the public for your lazy employees (one in particular today). I had came with my old intake filter and couldn't find the right size on the floor. I was greeted at the counter by a female manager with a grey shirt and short brown hair and explained my situation and asked if they could look up my part so I could order a new filter. she looked at my part and asked what it is (she didn't know what a intake filter was) and then asked what vehicle it was off of. I told her it's an after market cold air intake and gave her my vehicle info anyway. she then pulled up 3 options of interior air filters on her computer and stared at me and told me they don't have any. (an intake air filter keep in mind, a VERY common part that they had multiple of on the floor). I was kind of taken back by the situation so just waited in line for someone else to be open. Jonathan went above and beyond for me by checking the serial number on my old filter, looked it up, went out on the floor and tried out different filters with with different hoses to try to get it to fit, to avoid having to order one in and have to wait for it. he did absolutely fantastic. they have the wrong person working as the manager im afraid. read more

This is my local auto zone. Generally they are very helpful, sometimes (depending on staff) they are less than so. 3/5 is a fair score.

Officially breaking up with this Autozone location. This store consistently fails me when I am needing parts. They never have anything stocked. Don't even ask them if they know what something is because no one knows anything about a car or what's going on behind that counter. No, I don't expect them to have master mechanic knowledge or anything but just know something. You can't really rely on any of the employees to be competent, besides Frank and Butch. Those two are great guys who deserve way better. My final straw with this store, my vehicle has been down 4 days since I ordered a pair of transmission cooler lines and a fitting on Sunday. It suppose to arrive today and of course no one had an answer of where the cooler line is. The guy says "I don't know what happened to it, we have the fitting though. If you would like to reorder the line it'll arrive in a week." Even though I'm still trying to figure out what happened to the original order that was suppose to arrive today and the fitting was the wrong one anyways. I'm just done with this store. O Reilly's on Litchfield is getting all my business now. O Reilly's needs to open on Cotton Lane! read more

My car battery was dead and I had it jumped. I went to AutoZone to have my battery checked. The man that checked it said it was fine and "probably just discharged." I left, drove my car around for about 45 min to recharge it. Well, guess what?? The battery was dead the next time I tried to turn on the car. I had AAA come out to my house. The man tested it and said my battery was bad and needed to be replaced. So IDK if the man at AutoZone was incompetent or he just didn't want to change a battery in the heat, but I don't appreciate being given false information and be reassured that my battery was ok when it wasn't. Luckily this happened on a non-work day and I didn't get stuck anywhere with a dead battery. read more

The whole staff here doesn't ever want to help and is lazy. On top of that, they're disrespectful and lack work ethic. The manager is just as worse as the normal staff, this place needs a revamp of people and then it will be a good store. The current staff needs to go out the window though. read more

I'm not one to post reviews and I usually roll my eyes when I read reviews that sound obnoxious. My experience has been consistently this way and I thought it was a few bad employees just not caring but after reading so many people feel the same I will explain why it upsets me to hopefully see an improvement. One, by any means do I expect an autozone employee to tell me how to fix my car I completely understand that's not their job and especially some teenager. Two, I feel a need to shop at brick and motor stores as much as I can because I prefer human interaction more than shopping on Amazon or online. With all that being said, I did my research online on and figured out what parts I need and even confirmed on Autozone app that this location had my part in stock. My friend who was with me at the time says buy on Amazon it's cheaper and you'll get it tomorrow. I was like no Autozone has it and it's across the street he says don't give them any business they are terrible and I'm like you probably treat them like crap so they are rude back jokingly and he's like let's go you'll see. Sure enough I walk in with a smile, go right up to the counter and Alex, a teenager understandably clueless because this is his first job I'm sure begins to tell me that we don't have the part I was looking for because it's not serviceable. I confused ask can you tell me what that means and he says I don't know that's what the screen says. I'm like okay well I saw the part online of that helps and he says yeah show me and before I do he calls his manager David to help. He says what's the issue and Alex tells him what the screen says and then David says where this guy at, while I'm literally standing in front of the register looking at Alex while he's talking to him. He then flips the screen and says look man, it means that the part is internal and you can't access it and then just walks away. I wanted to get this repair done so I show Alex the part that I found online and he says that doesn't say it will work. I said well I've watched a few videos online and confirmed this will work. Then I ask if this part doesn't work may I return it if I don't open it. He says as long as you have the receipt I said cool thanks I'll take it. He rings me out and then just walks away I assumed he was gonna maybe ask his manager about the part I bought, idk. I'm waiting there for him to come back to give me my receipt but after two min I realized he was clowning around with David. Luckily another employee was there, and I asked him for my receipt and he gave it too me. All along my friend has this condescending grin on his face and when we walk out he begins to laugh at me and tell me he told me so which I'm glad someone got satisfaction from the shopping experience I guess. read more

I stopped into the AutoZone store on Yuma road stressing and nervous because I thought I needed a battery and a very nice gentleman name Miguel quickly put me at ease by checking my battery only to find out to my surprise that my cables were loose!!! I was so relieved and happy with the kindness and patience Miguel showed towards me!! He was really a gentleman with EXCELLENT customer service!!!! I nominate him for the EMPLOYEE OF THE DAY, WEEK, MONTH AWARD!! Let me just say that these guys at this store have been so helpful several times! Their service is so good I can no longer stay quiet. I've been in there with battery issues, break issues, shock issues and they always have an answer for my problem... I never feel like they are trying to sell me something but rather trying to help me. That makes me want to buy from their store! I've been to this Auto Zone many times, as it's my neighborhood store. After recently being widowed, I did not have a man around to help me with automotive questions. The store manager has gone out of his way twice to take care of my needs. Most recently he cut a small piece of hose and replaced a worn out hose on my Jeep Wrangler, fixing an exhaust leak, free of charge! Who does that anymore? My Auto Zone! Thanks so much! read more

Before heading to Mexico, we needed to stop by this AutoZone to take care of a few things: check engine light reading and a tail light replacement. They were prompt in assisting with both. We were literally in and out in 10 minutes, and they provided me with a screwdriver to put that new bulb in. A much different experience than the one I had at the AutoZone in Tempe a few weeks prior. Went in today for an air filter and battery charge. Left my car there, they said come back in a few hours and battery would be charged up. They also had to order the air filter from another location and said it would be there around 3... meanwhile all the employees were unresponsive and didn't seem to know what they were doing. Leave my house at 4, car still hasn't moved. I'm curious so I walk in and ask if the part is there, they say no. Then I ask if the car was fully charged and they walk outside and after my car having been there for 5 hours, with no call or message, I am told they didn't charge it because they didn't know how to take the INTAKE off. Which they could've told me from the get-go and I would've done myself... without wasting gas and time. Overall a very bad experience, customer service isn't good at all and none of the employees I encountered were attentive. Also, of the five employees I encountered today, two were wearing their masks hanging off their chin and the rest had it below their nose. Extremely disappointing and worrying in the midst of a pandemic. read more

Kind of new to the area. I have been here a couple times and was helped immediately. This place is clean the parking lot is clean. This location is not as busy as most in the city. I would recommend going here to avoid the lines that you encounter at other auto zones. The people that work here are nice and quick to grab the things that you need if you don't know where it. Would have given it 0 stars if I had the option. Poor customer service and the young kid in there seemed to find everything extremely funny when we were trying to look up a warranty part. The supervisor on duty was no nicer and and was very short and rude. I would never recommend this store to anyone unless you want to be treated poorly and laughed at. I've never experienced such awful customer service and I believe that these 2 individuals should find a new job since they obviously have no quality or customer service or any idea how to be curtious. The young kid firstly kept looking up the wrong part and laughing at us when we questioned it. Jesus Saucedo the Sales Manager at this Auto Zone refused to price match and then refused to give a receipt for my credit card being credited (after we decided against the purchase). Jesus insisted that I take his word, that the credit would be processed in a day or two. I let him know that a receipt is what I preferred and asked him if he could just write on something stating I would receive my money, he said "no I won't and if you can't deal with that call Corporate." When I explained this was not the usual policy at most retailers, he let me know again I would not get a receipt and asked me to leave (if he couldn't help me with anything further). When I told him he was being rude and I was writing a review and calling Corporate, he laughed and the Sales Associate next to him, said "I am his witness and I won't let you get him in trouble." They both proceeded to laugh at me. I left the store. I went to the parking lot and called the Goodyear Police Department to report the incident, so as to have proof that I did not receive a receipt and the Manager was refusing to give me a receipt for the money they had charged and supposedly credited. The Manager and Associate chose to chastise me through the window laughing and waving as I spoke to the Police Officer on my phone. I did get an incident report. This is the most appalling customer service and behavior I have ever seen in a retail store. Auto Zone has lost our business, because this was just about the worst example of mistreatment by any retailer. Also, if I had taken the merchandise and said "take my word you'll get your money in two days," I would have been arrested on the spot. The Sales Manager is ignorant and as many people as there are looking for jobs in this economy, he should step aside and let someone more deserving, of his position help future customers. UPDATE: The District Manager called me asked me to come to the store (the next day) and gave me $90.00 cash without a receipt and today (4 days later) the $90.00 cleared my account (for a purchase I did not make). I just moved here to Arizona and this location is right around the corner from my house. I've came into this autozone several times and each time there was a guy named Christian helping me. I'm in a cast and can't get around very well so he has made all of my trips very quick and easy and even tried to fix a problem I was having with his own hands. I'll come back to this location time and time again solely based off of Christians efforts, knowledge and the fact that he carried everything out for me and went the extra mile. Everyone else working there is friendly and knowledgable as well, but Christian went out of his way for me each time I came in. Here's a big thanks to Christian and the autozone staff! read more

This is probably just another example of what you dont wanna deal with when you go to an auto parts store. Im a shop owner that buys parts everyday, and works on cars everyday and I have never had this hassle at any of my other vendors. After testing my charging system found that my battery was bad, and seeing how there is no reason to charge it since it's bad and has a 5 year warranty with autozone. Go in to get it exchanged for a new one and the they tell me it's not bad and only needs a charge, when i know the battery is bad seeing how I just tested everything on my charging system. Did I mention it's less then 2 years old, and now I have to miss work since the had to keep my battery. I will never by another part from autozone and I will make certain that every customer I come in contact with I will tell how bad the employees are and how they dont honor a simple battery warranty and treat the customers like they are idiots that know nothing! read more
