I have to give five stars - from the first call I realized this business knows what they are doing…read more They gave me the facts and pricing to help make an educated decision on my new furnace purchase. I was using my home warranty program, so JL Mechanical was assigned to me as their vendor. I had a new furnace installed and JL Mechanical kept me updated with the date of service plus text messages to remind me and give me a link to track my installation team members. They also email you a snapshot of those who will be doing the installation work. Robert was my guy and he was intelligent, patient, friendly, and answered all my questions. In fact, I've had repairs and installations done in my house before but the entire work area and my house was completely CLEANED UP when they were done. (I can't say the same about Comcast when they drill a hole in your wall) Everything is working great - it's been a few days now and I have HEAT - in fact, the new furnace is even quieter than the previous one and I can't even tell it's running. No more freezing nights wearing sweatshirts and ten blankets to bed!!! Thanks for the help and installation - I greatly appreciate the service, phone calls, and follow-ups!!!

I would not recommend this business to anyone who is looking for professional, knowledgeable,…read moreprompt service. I was looking to have our boiler system repaired, first technician said it was a bad ignitor, which it was not. Second technician said it was a bad pressure switch, which was ordered and installed. Boiler ran constantly and would not shut down, even after thermostat temperature was attained. Third diagnosis was another switch (since the first one installed was incorrect). After that installation boiler ran constantly, without burners ever coming on. Total incompetence, with no apologizes. $500 dollars later, and still no functional boiler. We called RCM heating who came out that day and had the boiler properly fixed and running within an hour! Do not call JTR unless you want to waste your money! Mr. H

Dirk's efforts with Feikema Plumbing & Sanitation to convince me that the septic system inspection…read morewas done correctly obscure the fundamental factors that contradicted the repairs conducted after the fact. What is painfully apparent is the gross negligence in the decision to utilize a disconnected employee to conduct a vital inspection. Had proper discernment been applied, it would have mitigated the associated failures. This inspection should have been completed following the Veterans Administration Minimum Property Requirements, not the pencil-whipped document submitted for closing. The representative of your company assigned to conduct the VA-required inspection submitted a notice of resignation from your company before executing the contracted inspection. The associate disturbed a few inches of the topsoil to give the appearance that the inspection was completed, violating the minimum property requirements. This further demonstrated that there was zero motivation to exercise proper discernment to do the job correctly because the associate's mind was already moving onward with their new career path.   If done correctly by a qualified and dedicated professional, the inspection would have identified the crushed pipe under the sidewalk and never passed the rigid requirements of the Veterans Administration's inspection outline.   Therefore, the VA inspection would have failed, shifting the required repair to the property seller before closing on the property.  You and your co-workers unearthed the 8-foot concrete lid of the septic tank that day to gain access, graphing in an access portal afterward to conduct the inspection properly. Your co-workers identified additional failures in how that inspection was not performed correctly and shared those findings candidly with my wife. I have the photos and video conversations outlining the whole process.  Contact me when you decide to have a rational adult conversation about this. You have my phone number.
