He told me to contact the manufacturer asap to get number for the correct part so he could order it, mind you he doesn't have a professional place to get the parts and orders them on Amazon (told me parts from Amazon are not always reliable). I provided him with all the necessary info the next day and he confirmed he will order the part. After over a week of not hearing back I reached out to him to check on the status and got the following response "I do have the part I am so sorry I totally forgot I'll explain to you later...." Took 30+ minutes to remove supply and drainage lines in order to move appliance 2. Forgot to turn water off under cabinet causing flooding and was not prepared with rags or buckets these are things I had to supply Once problem was discovered they explained that parts would need to be ordered The following week, without proper notification, the technician stated they were on the way and would be there in 20 minutes Upon actual repair the observations were the same as above and now comes the additional issue of the gasket being warped because of the tugging and pulling. The dishwasher will operate but will no longer hold water. Again, no rags no buckets no control over water all over my kitchen except for rags and buckets I knew I needed to be prepared with to mitigate potential damage. The technician stated it was because our water supply from was from the hot side and was too powerful. I called a licensed plumber right in front of him and they looked later, and stated there was no issue. Also should note I have a home inspection report that is under 12 months old which cited no issues In summary, The initial service call was $105 ($100 plus needed me to pay bank service charge) Plumber is a friend and did not charge me for his time A new dishwasher was required a comparable dishwasher installed was $750 And either a repair or entirely new cabinet needs to be estimated

The company then quoted me $2200 as the cost to replace it and reiterated that this did not include the $99 that they already charged me. So yes, had I gone with that company, it would have cost me $2300. Armed with this information, I posted pictures and exactly what the "diagnosis" said and asked for emailed quotes...to be clear I said EMAIL only. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. He came in.. with the water heater... replaced it... and went on his way. Other companies, that followed directions, also came in higher than $2000. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with Jason and Lakeland!
