They didn't rush anything but moved in and out of the house quickly. They showed their concern for our home by wearing boot coverings before entering. They found that our ductwork wasn't in the best condition during the installation. Our previous unit was always problematic, but the new system operates incredibly quietly and cools the house evenly. They were very responsive, gave us an estimate over the phone, and came out the next day, even though it was 5pm and they'd clearly had a busy day. Their crew (led by Jose) was great -- professional, polite, got the work done quickly and accurately, and were careful with the home (no damage despite carrying two heavy furnaces up two flights of narrow stairs, one incoming and one outgoing; and left their workspace immaculate). They came out and told me my compressor was busted on a brand new A/C unit that was installed one year ago. Got another opinion and was told the compressor was fine. Browns discovered the Freon was low and filled the unit, on that end they came through. This place is pricey but they do respond to concerns. I have reached out to Brown's Heating & Cooling several times over the years due to their superb Yelp ratings and they have always been extremely responsive. They came in the past for maintenance and diagnostics on a tempermental A/C unit and Ramod was very transparent in what my options were. I opted for just the maintenance, and to wait out a more "catastrophic" failure. Fast forward a year or so, and our A/C and furnance fan went out (thankfully at the end of a crazy heat wave) in the middle of the night. I reached out again at like 4 in the morning, and by 5 am Ramod had already responded and an appointment scheduled by 10 am the same day. Ultimately, I opted to replace everything. Ramod walked me through the options, explained the pros and cons of each for my home, and pointed me to a package heat pump option from Carrier (they also sell Bryant) that best fit the logistics of my system (i.e. other options required a crane to lift to the roof, and I'd rather spend money on the system than on complexity in installation). Ramod and his team were here the next day, and for almost 12 hours they removed, cleaned up, and installed the new system. The entire team was extremely polite, hard working, and very tolerant of the 3 flights of stairs they had to climb over and over (sorry!!). Brown's was fair and competitive on price - I would not consider them a discount provider, but you get what you pay for and more. I received personalized and efficient service, and Ramod worked with me to ensure I received any eligible tax credits and rebates, and financing / payment options. Even weeks later, they are reaching out to check on how the system is performing to ensure satisfaction. I cannot recommend Brown's enough, you will get fantastic customer service, open communication, and timely service. After numerous frustrating days of reaching out directly to AC repair places near me only to get no response or "we can help next week" messages, I used Yelp to send out a distress call. Within an hour, I got 3 email responses and picked Browns because of the number of excellent ratings which, I found out, are well deserved. I confirmed our need at 6am on Saturday and someone showed up at 8am to take a look. The leak was in a bad place and the need to move the unit and our furnace was obvious, but the technician (Michael Jackson) had a big brain moment and came up with an ingenious alternative that worked, saved us a TON of $$$$ and didn't require a full demo job of the corner where the units are wedged into.
