Tenants had an issue with the furnace and they were able to come out on the same day. The issue was that the filter was so blocked up that the furnace had to go into overdrive and shut down. The only issue I had was that the tech went ahead and made adjustments to the furnace without consulting me (the owner) and the total bill ended up being $698 (instead of just the $199 for making the trip). Great experience replacing an old furnace. Took a photo of the furnace and sent to them over Yelp. They provided a quote, which was actually a big higher than the final charge after installation! In fact, the cost was lower than competing quotes I received from other companies too. The staff was very friendly and worked with me to schedule the replacement quickly. They also allowed me to pay by credit card, which I was thankful since this was a significant expense. They also emailed me the registration for the furnace so I am covered under warranty for the next 10 years! I've used Service Pro Titans a number of times and they have been excellent. Unfortunately I was in a situation in which our HVAC was not functioning properly due to improper installation by the builder. The first time I needed to use their service it was a simple fix of installing a bend to the intake valve on the roof. It must not have been worth the time and money for some of the other highly rated companies on Yelp, because I was told to call someone else and another time a company just never showed up. Service Pro Titans was responsive and provided fairly priced quality service. I've used them a few more times for regular maintenance as well as to repair damage caused by the poor installation. Each time the technician was respectful of our home, on-time, professional, explained the recommended repair, and provided quality service. I had an issue with my water heater being too loud and had two different companies come out. The first one seemed to misdiagnose the issue and tried get me to install an expansion tank. I wanted to get a second opinion so I contacted service titan pros. Right away they figured out the issue whereas the other company misdiagnose. They got back to me within 10 minutes and were able to set up a technician to come out within a couple hours on the same day. They were on time and communicated with me the whole time. We went through Service Pro Titans for a complete installation of an HVAC system in our 130+ year old home in Pilsen. When we first reached out, we were actually just considering getting our wall heater replaced, as it had a gas leak. Jeffrey came out to check out the system and gave us a quote the same day - he didn't push any additional services on us and the pricing and timeline was super reasonable. After some discussion, we decided it might be a better use of our time and money to just have a whole system installed, since it was something we were planning for the future anyway. Jeffrey came back out to create a plan and give us an updated quote, along with suggestions of what was/wasn't possible with our home structure. He and his team began their work within a few days of our quote - they spent about 2.5 weeks overall in the home and were incredibly efficient, respectful, and communicative throughout the whole process. There were a few unexpected surprises while cutting through the walls/ceilings that I could tell were frustrating, as it set them back and forced them to reroute, but they never complained and they just kept working through the issues. When they were finished, Jeffrey came back out to thoroughly check over the work that had been done and had his guys come out one last time to fix any tiny issues they had missed. Since the installation, he has continued to quickly respond to any questions we've had and will also come back in the Spring to properly turn on the air conditioning unit (the system was installed in the dead of winter). We really couldn't be happier with our system and are so happy we have an evenly heated home and no more window AC units!! read more

While that should be a given, my experience with two other companies suggests it really is not. He took pictures of everything and then explained the problem to me clearly and how he would repair it. He did not pressure me to make a decision, which helped me feel more confident in authorizing a recommended, but not strictly necessary repair. After years of deadful service we decided to try somebody else vis-a-vis maintenance of our A/C and Heating systems. A young man named Luís showed up and very quietly went about his business of cleaning and checking the whole system. Consequently, a week later, a brand-new heatwave hit and the system now runs cooler anf far cleaner than it EVER has before. i am surprised how this company has 4 stars, i think they buy them. ask for an estimate for a new furnace for my small 2 bd house and they asked $8500 just to put a small furnace, i had 3 estimates and they were the most expensive company and they asked me to pay $129 for the estimate. none of the other 2 companies charged for estimate. they spent 3 min to give me the estimate and they charge that much... i hade the work done professionally for way less than what they asked for. my advice is to shop and compare prices. I contested the high estimate and lowered it to $79.this company will rip you off. No good company charges $129 for 3 min estimat. read more
