This service we received from Enright Heating and Cooling was, and I am not being even slightly…read morehyperbolic, the absolute best service we have ever received from any company for the many, many household services needed throughout the years, bar none. It was actually perfect. We finally got to the dreaded end of life for both our furnace and air conditioner and right during the busiest time for all companies, midsummer and right after two rounds of very damaging storms. We got a quote from the company we had been using and that quote wasn't necessarily gross outside of reasonable but we felt that with such a high investment we should get at least one more quote. We called Enright, who handled the quote and all of our questions immediately. They were less expensive than our previous quote, had a much better warranty and better financing. They are also clearly competent. The owner, out of mercy on our souls after the storms came to see our broken system first and we didn't hear him at the door and he had to leave. We felt horrible. He is busy! He treated us with such grace. The company is family owned and operated and works around the clock and are very accessible. The installers came right on time, were extremely polite and conscientious the entire time and finished their quality work ahead of time. They were clean, well organized and cheerful. Do not hesitate to use this company. I really don't see how their service can be beat.

This last time around, I sent them a video of the issue (loud sound) and they identified the issue from the video then ordered the part. We scheduled them to show up a few days later - the tech who visited us was very nice. He installed the new part very quickly, made sure it worked and went on his way. Very happy we chose Enright for our HVAC system and will continue to utilize their services going forward!

I chose Van Drunen over several other A/C companies to install Central Air in my home. The owner, Keith Van Drunen, is a man of integrity. Poorly installed commercial HVAC unit caused extensive leaking and damage to my tenants…read moreestablishments. Van Drunen dispatched a representative to inspect the work, but he denied the existence of the problem. After trial and error, we were able to localize the leak to where the vent connects to the unit. I went on the roof and sealed it myself. Meanwhile, the unit ran out of freon just after the warranty expired and causing all my tenant's food to spoil. The service representative was almost tauntingly rude to me when explaining the issue. I contacted a semi-retired HVAC man from Lansing who advised that someone drilled a hole in the unit to leak the freon. Use this company at your own risk. There are so many much more dependable and professional companies in the NW Indiana/South Chicago area.

Had them to come out to assess an oil tank that is in our basement. We want it to be removed, it's…read morerecently been leaking. We thought that they could just empty it, but they have to cut it up and dispose of it as well. That's even better! Paid them $75 to come to assess it, which was not a problem. On May 28th, they told us that they would be back to dismantle and take away the oil tank. The original date got pushed until June 16th, for whatever reason. I did not receive a phone call or a message stating that they would not arrive at 8 a.m., per our original conversation. Called several times and had to wait on someone to return our calls. We finally get in touch with the manager, John, and he tells us that no one will be coming to our house because they have several clients that they have PRIORITIZED because they don't have air conditioning. Mind you, the weather in the past two weeks has not been excessively hot, in fact, it's been cool outside and MAYBE had two days that were in the 80s. He states that they called and left a message. I have not received any calls, I don't have any missed calls, nor do I have any voicemail messages from anyone at Witham's. We have work that we're trying to get done on our house and garage. We have had to push those jobs so that Witham's could come into our home utilizing the backyard; which is where the other contractors need to access the rest of our property, as well. We can't keep pushing off other things that we're trying to do to this house. We have scheduled places to be, individually as a family. We need to work on our home to be completed in a timely manner. For you to tell me, after accepting payment, giving us a verbal agreement, and scheduling an appointment for us oh, that you have decided to prioritize your customers, is absolutely ridiculous! It is not, according to John, a first come, first serve type of company. No matter what you may have going on, if they feel that someone else is more important than what you need done, then you will get bumped until they can come to help you. This oil is leaking in my home! Not sure how a broken air conditioning unit prioritises over leaking oil, that you can see and smell. We tried to get him to understand this from consumer perspective. Not as a business owner. As an individual, if you paid someone for a service, and was told a date that said service would take place, you would be upset if you were constantly told that it could not happen during that time. It feels as if we are getting the runaround. We have now had to take our business elsewhere! My parents have utilized this company for decades! Whether it was something within the home or them actually going to the gas station. We will no longer patronize this company as a family!
