I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. The guy let us know that the fan was broken and was able to push the cold air through our condo. Plus the fan was in the heating unit which was so old. He gave me an estimate which and gave me some time to review it. We decided to have them install a new model. They were able to schedule us in quickly early in the morning. The only reason why I didn't give them a 5 star was because it took at about 4 hours. I personally don't know how long it takes to replace a heating unit, but I felt that was kind of long. Again, I've never had this work done so maybe 4 hours may be fast to the average heater replacement work. They were nice and respectful of our home while they worked. Bless them for working in the heat. Regardless they got it in there fine and stayed to make sure it was working and that it cooled our condo. They even explained to me how to replace filters. I paid them in full for their work, I got all the paperwork and they were on their way. If I have any other issues, I would definitely call them up again.

They provided me with some quotes and also mentioned a special rebate that NIPSCO (the utility company in my area) had. None of the other companies mentioned this special rebate. Addit Heating and & Air Conditioning went above and beyond !! I was able to purchase the Seer 16 unit (their price was a bit less than what the other companies I got quotes from offered.) And the Seer 16 is much more energy efficient! The staff at Addit came out and got everything installed. Also they helped me with the rebate form I needed to fill out and submit to get the rebate.
