Steve installed a hot water tank bought from Menards for me but refused to give me the receipt that held my warranty. He literally argued with me on why I should have a receipt of an item I paid him to purchase. He still have not given me the receipt. This is a bad business man!!! Great experience, called Sat am, they squeezed us in at the end of their day, called before arriving to say they're running early, 30 min and we're up and running. Four Seasons quoted my husband without even seeing the unit, quoted a few hours to replace parts that needed to be ordered and wouldn't be out till after the holiday. Wonderful experience!! I called because my furnace stopped working, and Steve was doing a call nearby and offered to come the same day to check it out. I needed a new part and, rather than do like most places and charge me right away for the part, he checked around to see if it was covered under warranty!!!! He ended up having to get the part the next day because my visit was right at the close of business, but he called in the morning to let me know that he ordered my part, asked what my home schedule was like, and gave me timely updates as to his arrival. When our HVAC guy retired his replacement broke our Central Air first trip out, on Memorial Day weekend -- 2016! We put it off because if Summer in Chicago with no A/C weren't scary enough every quote to repair / replace tried to sell as a new furnance, new duct work, etc. We just wanted the A/C fixed. Everyone that is, until Steve. He patiently explained where the other guys were coming from, and did in fact provide reasonable quotes to replace the entire system but also provided exactly what we asked for: the least expensive solution to our problem! This is an honest and great company. Steve came out to repair my A/C unit. He was professional yet still personable. Two weeks later the unit went out again on the hottest day. We called Steve he returned immediately and didn't have the part (completely different from the first repair) so he had to come back the next day. He looked sadder than we did that he was not able to repair it that night. The next day he returned right on time and repaired it. How amazing that a company stands by their word and makes sure the customer is happy. He was not looking to make money he was genuinely concerned with repairing the unit and leaving my family comfortable and we did not have to chase him down to come back and repair it. Steve, the HVAC repair man, made a service call to my 93 year old mom's house at 11pm on the hottest night of the year (so far) when her AC stopped working.
