It was actually perfect. We finally got to the dreaded end of life for both our furnace and air conditioner and right during the busiest time for all companies, midsummer and right after two rounds of very damaging storms. We got a quote from the company we had been using and that quote wasn't necessarily gross outside of reasonable but we felt that with such a high investment we should get at least one more quote. We called Enright, who handled the quote and all of our questions immediately. They were less expensive than our previous quote, had a much better warranty and better financing. They are also clearly competent. The owner, out of mercy on our souls after the storms came to see our broken system first and we didn't hear him at the door and he had to leave. We felt horrible. He is busy! He treated us with such grace. The company is family owned and operated and works around the clock and are very accessible. The installers came right on time, were extremely polite and conscientious the entire time and finished their quality work ahead of time. They were clean, well organized and cheerful. Do not hesitate to use this company. I really don't see how their service can be beat.

They had great reviews, were in the area, and were able to come quick. They have earned their praise from others and I am so thankful for them. After an actual cleaning and diagnosis they came up with Dad needing a thermostat....not a new $5k furnace. I cannot thank you guys enough. You deserve all the praise and I will strongly recommend Enright. They are thorough and honest. That is a very rare combination in my experience dealing with the skilled service industry.

South Suburban H & AC went out of their way to restore heat to our house after the December 2017 -…read moreJanuary 2018 deep freeze ended and a pipe in our radiant heating system burst, leaving us without heat for almost 5 days. This house was built in 1951 and has hot water heating pipes between the plastered ceiling and the attic insulation. For 66 years there had been one section of pipe that was routed at the top of an outside wall without consequence. but on Sunday night, January 7th at 10 pm as the outside temperature reached 32 degrees for the first time in 20 days, the pipe ruptured, flooded the room's ceiling and shut down the hot water heating of the entire house. The ceiling was removed (Phoenix Restoration did a great job) to allow access to the area with the ruptured pipe on Thursday afternoon, and I then called South Suburban. Luckily the weather had warmed up and the house was at 60 degrees at 5 pm. However, a cold front came through overnight and dropped the outside temperature to below 20 degrees by dawn. South Suburban rescheduled John, one of their experienced workers to arrive at the house at 1:30 on Friday (next day) afternoon. He was able to cut out the section of pipe with the rupture and re-route the pipe inside of the wall after custom making copper fittings for the old pipe before the new piece of copper could be soldered in place. John then was able to bleed air from the system of pipes and restart the hot water boiler. At 4:45 pm on Friday, heat was restored, and the house temperature started to recover as the outside temperature was down to 10 degrees. The weekend temperatures did not exceed 20. Dave, the president of the company was very responsive, and I cannot thank him and his worker John enough squeezing my house into their busy schedule and taking the required time to restore heat to the house.

They sent a kid who tells me the issue may be a cracked heat exchange & carbon monoxide leaking because I told him I had gotten dizzy before he arrived. Instead of telling me at that point he doesn't have the proper equipment to detect a CO leak he runs out to his work truck several times looking for equipment he knew he did not have. When he finally comes clean about not having the equipment he needs, he says for me to call the Fire Dept. because they have the equipment. I'm foolishly thinking YOU ARE A HEATING REPAIR COMPANY if you don't have the equipment someone in your company should right? WRONG!! I called the owner who tells me they tell all of their customers in an instance like this to call the Fire Dept. Owner proceeds to say, because the kid drove here, spent 45 minutes removing screws which he should not have & feeding a camera with as the kid put it, "not very good picture" in the furnace he earned the fee. Kid told me furnace had rust. I had to call a reputable company and the Fire Dept. who both confirmed no CO. Real repair guy says there is no crack and showed me pictures of inside furnace with NO RUST. Thank God furnace is running properly. Not only did these guys make off with $141 of my money but had nerve to say once Fire Dept. comes out call them back, here is your call back!!!

Poorly installed commercial HVAC unit caused extensive leaking and damage to my tenants…read moreestablishments. Van Drunen dispatched a representative to inspect the work, but he denied the existence of the problem. After trial and error, we were able to localize the leak to where the vent connects to the unit. I went on the roof and sealed it myself. Meanwhile, the unit ran out of freon just after the warranty expired and causing all my tenant's food to spoil. The service representative was almost tauntingly rude to me when explaining the issue. I contacted a semi-retired HVAC man from Lansing who advised that someone drilled a hole in the unit to leak the freon. Use this company at your own risk. There are so many much more dependable and professional companies in the NW Indiana/South Chicago area.

Then I called Struven and he fixed my AC for $200. I truly trust Matt completely and strongly hope you learn from my experience and save money and time.
