Dominic and Muhammad were amazing. They were concise. They were clean. They were informative. I guess it was amazing. Muhammad was really honest with us about some of the things we did. I like the way they handle themselves. They didn't mind that I was making oxtail while talking to them about this stuff. And nobody interrupts me while I'm making oxtail!!! Jk. You guys so much! read more

Shawn B. came over to preform our annual furnace check, for both of our furnaces. He arrived when he said he would, worked diligently and updated us on what he did, in a manner that was easily understood. He also gave us some upgrade suggestions, but without pushing them on us, and advised us as to the current status of each furnace, relative to when they may need to be replaced. All in all it was a great experience, and we will definitely continue to use King for all of our furnace and A/C work. read more

They sent a young arrogant tech named Ramses to my home who quoted me a ridiculous price to fix the ac. When I asked him to explain what was wrong he made me feel dumb and like I was inconveniencing him. When I asked about ordering the part for my ac he made it seem like ordering it would be expensive and inconvenient for him to do. Over $3000. He told me that my AC broke bc I don't take care of the unit but it's only two years old wtf!? I had another AC tech come out and fix the problem for $280. Don't go with this company. read more

I want to thank Todd Chasse for excellent service. He did our a/c clean & check. Very thorough & honest. Explained everything clearly.

A totally 1st rate professional company. AC went kaput as the heat wave was gettin started. Called on Sunday night, Dennis came out Monday morning. He thoroughly inspected the entire system, laid it all out for us and explained all options with total pricing. Work was done next day and we were cooling off by Tuesday afternoon. Nuff sed!! read more

Always professional and friendly. Answers all question patiently. Prompt, quality service and cleanup after work is done.

Highly recommend this company for quick fair priced services! I moved into a new house with no AC and reached out to 4 companies to give me a quote on central AC vs minisplit system. King was quick to respond and listened to our needs. They provided the lowest price while other companies were looking to up charge and quoting me higher prices so I hired them and couldn't be happier with results. 1 year in and our minisplit works great! I have since used them again to install a tankless water heater after our old one gave out and once again they were able to get someone out next day to complete the job. They also have great financing options if needed. I will definitely continue to use them in the future for all heating, cooling and plumbing needs. read more

If you're looking for an excellent plumbing service, call King and ask for Seth. I had a badly clogged sink that wasn't draining at all, and Seth showed up ready to work--and with a great attitude. He was incredibly kind, professional, and respectful, which immediately put me at ease. Seth diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed the clog. My sink is now draining perfectly, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. It's rare to find a plumber who is both highly skilled and genuinely nice, but Seth is exactly that. If you need help with a clogged sink, drain issues, or plumbing repairs, I can't recommend them enough. Reliable, efficient, and an all-around great people. King is the plumber you want to call. read more

We had a bad experience with King Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. When our furnace stopped working, we called King. The company's technician told us that it would cost so much to get our10-year-old furnace working that we would be better off buying a new furnace. We called Abt Electronics for a second opinion. The Abt technician got our furnace working again by cleaning a clogged pressure switch hose (as part of Abt's standard service fee for the visit). By not following King's recommendations, we saved thousands of dollars. When we told King that we were unhappy with their service and wouldn't be using the remainder of our multi-year service agreement with them, we weren't asked why we were unhappy. We weren't asked to speak with someone who would address our complaint. We weren't offered any financial incentive to continue using King. We weren't offered any refund for the more than a year left on our agreement. Instead, we were told: "OK." So much for the company's "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" on its website. read more

I called this company because my central air unit at my condo was not working. It was blowing hot air and it was a 90° week. They sent a man out the next morning, who went outside and looked at the unit and informed me that the whole thing was shot and I would need a new one. He said that the refrigerant that the unit needed wasn't even available any more, and that it would cost about the same to fix the unit as to buy a new one. He said he would send someone out the next day to discuss the purchase of a new unit. So I paid the $99.00 service fee ($99 that I just threw out the window, considering how they wasted my time trying to make an idiot of me; read on). The next morning, the sales person came out and quoted me $7,400.00 (snort ) for a new a/c unit. I said, "Is there anything cheaper?" "No," he answered, looking me right in the eye. My tongue was stinging from biting it so hard. I didn't lose my cool, though. I was in a bad situation: overheated and sweating in my small apartment and at my wits' end. The sales rep left and I called another heating and cooling company. The guy from the new place came out this morning. I asked if he thought he could fix the air conditioner. He said, "Yeah, I think so," and he did. In under an hour. I am now sitting in my living room, nice and cool, with ice cold air blowing from the vents. I paid $ 280.00. King H, C and P seems to think that women (especially older women) are stupid. I hate to think how many people they've ripped off. Judging from their Yelp rating, probably quite a few. To quote $7,400 for a small central air conditioner (that was with "discounts" ) is an absolute disgrace. These guys have some pretty big cojones to even make a ridiculous quote like that. Steer very clear of these scammers. Private message me if you're interested in the name of the fantastic company I ended up with. This ain't it. read more

They're a good company and they do good work but don't always have timely availability which leaves you to have to call on other businesses.

I strongly recommend King Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. From initial inquiry to service, I received excellent customer service. Cole and Brandon accessed my air conditioning unit and repaired it. They were both attentive and answered my follow up questions. Thanks for having a great company to rely on for future needs. read more

Won't give a simple estimate for 2 shower cartridges but wants $99 for the gift of their presence to come out and do what exactly? Im saying what I need, no leaking, no measuring. How hard is it to give me a small idea of what you will charge me so I can be prepared? Ridiculous and scammy. If this was a big job, totally understandable. Not for changing shower cartridges. You wont be taking apart anything when you come out. So please explain why I must pay you just to come look at the shower? read more

Well maybe you could improve on keeping your appointments. Canceled the night before because your A/C business was too busy.

Brendon came out yesterday and checked out the noise from our new hot water heater and everything was working perfectly. he fixed a pvc pipe outside that just needed a little glue. also, he fixed a shower head. I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service I received from King Heating. From the initial contact my son Matt had with Luke Willson, it was a smooth process. I was impressed that a contract was sent out the same day by Luke (Bill the Boiler Expert), and that we also had a visit from the sales worker Brandon that evening. Bill informed Matt that our boiler system was dated 1984, so after 30 years in our home, it was definitely time for an upgrade. While a new system is a significant investment, all of the employees at King Heating made me feel at ease and confident that I was making the right decision for our home. The three technicians who installed the water heater and boiler system were very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. I also want to thank Tony for her follow-up call to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied after the installation. And one more thing Luke, we need to meet so I can give you a hug. What a nice young man you have become. Thank you again for everything. I will definitely be using King Heating for all our future home needs. Sincerely, Sue Mueller read more

Good job. The technician sent A text to let us know he was coming and A picture. Was thorough with the maintenance of our furnace. Will highly recommend them for further services for our A/C unit as well as furnace. read more

Tyler, who has been to our house before, was here on September 5 to perform a fall tune up on our furnace and all went well. He was off to a great start when he put shoe coverings on. Not everybody, from every company does. He didn't find any problems and he was in and out. We've been King customers for years and are consistently happy with their service. I do wonder why their overall rating isn't higher. Reviews seem to be either five stars or one star. read more

Casey was excellent! Very knowledgeable and honest, so refreshing. Problem solved and house is warm.

I called King back in 2022 when my furnace and water heater went out at the same time in the first week of a frigid January. I was sold a new furnace, water heater and AC unit for a grand total of over $15K. I had to get a furnace and water heater installed ASAP, as I was not able to get time off work to shop around, and the weather was horribly cold so I could not just wait for heat and hot water while I found the best deal. It was an all day project when all of the workers came to install. Seems like the scheduling was not done right, as the plumber had to wait until the furnace installers were done before he could finish the water heater install. The next morning, I still had no hot water, because the plumber never turned the water heater on. I was having trouble trying to figure out how to turn the blower fan on and off with my new Nest thermostat, and when they sent a tech out, he had NO CLUE how to do this. I ended up going on youtube with the tech there and figured it out myself. It blew my mind. I had to have them come out this past spring to inspect my blower fan, and was told that whoever hooked up my furnace did the wiring wrong. They completed a tune-up (which I was charged for smh), which I feel was not fair. I was told that I had to pay for tune-ups in spring and fall in order to maintain my warranty. So basically, I am paying about $200 per year just to keep a warranty. I don't know of other companies that insist on this, as most furnaces and water heaters should come with some kind of factory warranty. I had a tech come out to perform a spring tune up, and had to wait a month for them to come out. I never got a call to remind me of the appointment time, nor did I get a call letting me know they were in route to my home. I DID get a call when the tech was IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. The tech told me he peered inside my windows to see if anyone was home, which horrified me. The tech told me he "saw someone inside walking around" - which was my husband who was feeling unwell that day so he did not come to the door. How dare he look into the windows of my home!! I had to leave work early and fly home to meet the tech at my house. I called today to schedule a winter tune up only to be told that it would be at least 2 months before they would be able to come out and do this work. With King being such a large company, I feel like that wait time is overly excessive. With all of this being said, I am left feeling so uneasy about this company. read more

Absolutely awful company to do business with. Have canceled on me at the last minute 3 times after I took a day off to get a repair. Took over a month to "order" a part that never came in and have been out at least 5 additional times to do repairs that didn't work. Horrible company to do business with and would not recommend them to my worst enemy! read more

King is getting ridiculous! I made an appointment approximately 5 months ago for Jerry to perform our yearly furnace cleaning and inspection this Monday 10/06. I received a call today to confirm our appointment and I ask to confirm that Jerry would be performing this service. I was told NO that they would be sending someone else. I specifically booked this appointment to be with Jerry. We have had other experiences with other technicians and to put it lightly they SUCKED! I had to reschedule and was told Jerry would not be available until 12/10. I took the appointment but we are very disappointed with King Heating and Cooling. I can see by reading all these reviews they are really going downhill. So disappointed!!!!! read more

I want to update my review to say that King has been very responsive and is working with us to solve our HVAC concerns. We purchased the top of notch system but had to get a specialized thermostat to work with the troubled areas in our home where the air flow and cooling system were not cooling in an equal manner. So far I like the sensor which reconciles differing temperatures. Weather is rapidly changing and I hope changing the registers along with this new system will improve our winter and summer challenges in 2025 and 2026. read more

Didnt get a call back. Then they wouldnt give me an exact time appointment. I called back and a salesman was nice. Very apologetic. Thought I Was making progress. Was supposed to come either Monday or the following week. Gave me 'his "number". 2 weeks later I texted him and never heard back. Still no call back read more

I have a brand new unit which was purchased and installed less than 2 years ago. Yesterday the thermostat stopped working. I called and was put on the list. They lady said that she can't promise me that someone will get here today. She said they have a lot of people on the list. My gripe is why is the unit not working after two years. I feel like I wasted 15,000 to get something brand new only for it not to work. This unit is less than two years old, it should not have any problems. I keep saying that it's less than two years old and I'm going to keep saying it. This is absolutely insane. The temperature in my house is 94 degrees with windows and blinds closed and ceiling fans going. I am missed. I am beyond pissed. Kings yall need to do better. Whoever is reading this can you reply with the corporate number or email please. I'm taking this to the top, this is insane. read more

I do not recommend this company they are prices are absolutely and positively ridiculous and I'm glad the guy called me before he even came to my house for the quote so he's going to charge me $431.55 to ride out my tub and $562.80 to ride out my bathroom sink. That makes no sense at all. That is absolutely freaking ridiculous. I hope that no one uses this company. read more

These guys are either thieves or they are incompetent. They said our 6 year old boiler was leaking but they could fix the problem to the tune of 20 thousand dollars. We naturally got a couple of second opinions only to find that their "evidence" of leakage was a leftover from a condensation leak above the boiler that was fixed for about 40 bucks. Their "master technician" must have been trained in ripping people off. read more

Update on this case. It's been a few weeks since they did come out and agreed with the other company stating there is a large leak in the coil. Never heard from King so I called. Carol stated it is documented that a new coil is recommended. She said she will check into and call back. Randy called back quickly which is appreciated and said they can come friday. We agreed to this and I stated with the big leak and hot weather I hope the coolant will last. Well, it stopped cooling after that phone call. I called and spoke with Marissa asking if we can push the date up since an elderly person with heart and kidney disease lives there and it is going to be humid. She said nope friday is the only day. No compassion. This has been going on for months now and when we finally get an appointment it breaks down before the appointment making the elderly suffer in humidity. There is no other option from King? read more

So I can understand the $100 fee for showing up and giving a diagnosis. But to change someone $295 for a starter (capacitor) that sells for $12.99 is a flat out robbery. So labor for a 20 min job is $280. I definitely recommend looking somewhere else. The technician did fast work and I have no complaints about him. But DO NOT LET THEM RIP YOU OFF. read more
