When I saw there was a poke place in Pearland, I had pretty low expectations. But I'm happy to report that Ahi Poke is a great, reasonably priced choice for healthy eating in this area. Plus, they have BOBA which is amazing (for only $3.50, actually really competitive pricing, although it's not the world's greatest boba). Their pricing is really great compared to other poke places- a regular (2 scoops protein) is 9.95 and a large (3 scoops) is 11.95-- compare it to most other poke places in the loop where the regular is more like 11-12 and the large is 12-14. Unique things about this place: Eel is a protein option- never seen that before. It's the BBQ eel you can buy frozen at any Chinese grocery store, but it's tasty! Avocado- the first scoop is free, then they charge after that. Better than it being all charged, IMO. Overall, I liked the portion sizes, service, cleanliness, and pricing of this spot. read more

Went today with my coworkers to try this place out. Everything is fresh and the assortment of toppings is great! I selected a regular bowl which consist of two proteins and then your toppings. I picked sushi rice as the base and spicy tuna and tempura shrimp and my protein for my toppings I had mango, masago, purple cabbage, green onion,cucumber,carrot, seaweed,seaweed salad, crab salad, and a mango habanero sauce. It's pretty much like having sushi but de-constructed. Also, I forgot to mention they do have a good selection of sauces to put on as well. read more

Went to go try this place a couple of days ago, and i have to say that I'm fairly impressed in their fish quality for being in the Pasadena Area. I got salmon and tofu (owner gave me an option to grill it because he said it was better and i highly agree). Although tofu may be unseason at first, when they mix in all your ingredients with your sauces and toppings, the tofu takes in those flavors and becomes flavorful. As for their boba tea, it's not too shabby. Their jasmine milk tea was a little bit on the sweeter side but nothing to hard to fix. Their coffee milk tea if pretty good and not too bitter. Overall would definitely comeback again. Also as side note, if you happen to catch the owner there he is so nice and helpful. He will probably be the reason why i come back everytime. read more

Had a small business/client meeting here. Not sure why, but the staff were being quite rude. They would say the nice words, but you could tell they did not want to be there. Slamming stuff around, and cursing behind the counter. It does not bother me personally, but perhaps not around the kids that were there. Also, my client was not super happy. After trying multiple places that sell Brown/black sugar milk tea closer to home, we have finally found a place that can live up to 2nd place from our favorite Bellaire spot. We visit Ahi Poke about once a week and always call in our order. They are very prompt with their service and provide a cup holder tray if you get multiple drinks. We will be back while we are close by. We haven't sampled their food items so I cant comment on those. Currently only staff is allowed in the store, but I appreciate the convenience of curbside pick up. read more

Great prices for the huge portions that you get. It can definitely be made into two meals if you get it to go. Choose your 1-3 proteins ($2 for each additional protein after the 3) and all the toppings you want. The rice was lukewarm and they heat up the meat in the microwave. The meats were mostly bland but the sauces they offer at the end will make up for it. We got peach bubble tea and Thai bubble tea. The peach one has a hint of peach and the Thai tea wasn't strong. The food was delicious though. The sauces help bring together the mixings. Cute atmosphere. It's a small place so not a lot of seating. read more

I love poké. Coming from Hawaii, I'm pretty picky when it comes to poke, but this place was pretty decent for what it was. Especially here in the Houston/Pasadena area. Spicy salmon and avocado are always my go-to in any rice bowl and it was pretty good here. The price was also fair as well for the rice bowl. read more

I want to put this first to increase the chance management sees it. PLEASE cut your veggies smaller. The cucumbers, onions, jalapenos, cabage - almost everything is chopped far too large. This is my only gripe. I really like this place, it is great value for poké. The portions are extremely generous, the fish is of good quality and the interior is clean. Almost all of the add-ons are free crab, avocado seaweed etc. I would happily change my review to 5 stars if the veggies were cut smaller. The large pieces of onion and cucumber and jalapeno create a huge texture problem. read more
