Convenient spot for sushi or poke in the Lanai food court! Prices are reasonable for the amount and quality you get of fish, and they boast sourcing locally caught ahi. There's plenty of seating in the food court (with crisp AC) or outside. They have a bunch of ready-to-go plates if you're in a hurry.
Five dollars for the Poké bowl price right and hit the spot. Quick and easy especially if you are not that hungry this will do the job. Always fast, friendly service and Ono grinds!!!
Their service and abundance of fresh fish and bento are very well coordinated to perfection. We have eaten many times in the past but today was exceptional excellent. The two men feature are highly recommended for their customer serves that appeals to the customer delight to grind filled with joy! We will be back soon!
This has become my go-to place for a clean post-gym feed, no matter what phase I'm in. They've got tons of healthy, super-clean options at reasonable prices. Perfect for when you want real good food without all the sauces and hidden salt & sugar. On low-carb, high-fat days when I'm relying on good fats for energy, the Salmon Sashimi Salad hits the spot. You get twelve thick (about 1/8") slices of salmon sashimi on a bed of crisp greens. The fish is fresh, buttery, and satisfying. They also have hamachi and ahi sashimi options if you like variety. On glycogen refuel days, the Chirashi Bowl is my go-to. Cubes of ahi, salmon, and hamachi with ocean salad on a bed of sushi rice, or brown rice when available. It's clean, flavorful, with a nice balance of clean protein and carbs. If you're really hardcore, they even offer tofu on greens. Though honestly, water and cardboard might taste better. It's a hard pass for me. Hahaha Their Hamachi Kama Bento with a side of Teriyaki Chicken and Rice is another solid choice. The kama portions are generous and grilled just right. They also sell sides like kimchi, natto, and ocean salad, which are great for adding some variety to your meal. Pro Tip: All meals come with miso soup but you have to ask for it. Happy clean eating!!

They also offer a variety of both hot and cold items, with many prepackaged for a quick grab and go lunch or dinner. This is a great place for a delicious meal anytime.
Ahi and vegetable is located at Ala Moana shopping center in the food court by Macy's. I stopped by to pick up some fresh sushi on a Friday during Lent. I was pleasantly surprised how fresh the fish was, and how reasonable the prices were. You're able to order from the menu or you can grab some of the premade ready to go sushi. The service was fast. Since they're located in the food court, they have tables there to eat in, or you can take your food to go.
I used to visit their Kalihi location in the past, but this one in Ala Moana is way more convenient. Their fish is always so fresh and service is quick. My go-to is the salmon/hamachi salad with a side of sushi rice. It is my absolute fave!! The lettuce (romaine) is also always consistently fresh and crunchy. Top it off with the slices of salmon and hamachi and it is a winner. I usually get it with the vinaigrette dressing and it's perfect. I haven't tried many other things, but every now and then, I'll get the salmon and ahi nigiri that they have in their refrigerated section. That one is good too, but the rice can get a little hard since it's kept cold for a long period of time.

This is always a go to, I remember when this first opened in town. The owners were always so kind, attentive and made every bite - delicious. So when I saw this place in Ala Moana, happy and excited to stop in. Noticed the menu changed and thought I would ask about the my favorite bowl: Spicy Ahi on sushi rice. The young man (sitting down on the phone) never really looking up as I asked the question. He pointed to the refrigerated section and said it's over there. I checked and yes there is mini bowl, I was looking for the mother load - double the size with ginger, and the sauce) I asked again, this time he looked up and said that's all we have. I purchased 2 since it was the perfect bite sized lunch and for 5.00 how can u go wrong?. Opened one and tasted the spicy ahi and I was brought back to the original location (only smaller and missing sauce, ginger items). The business is located at Lanai Food Court which is across Macys. Food court has lots of tables and chairs inside and outside for all eateries. There is chiller with prepared poke bowls and other food.Menu with variety of bentos that they make. My order was poke bowl which rang up right away. read more
Dinner at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii... The largest outdoor shopping mall in the world is right here on the Island of Oahu! ...and there's FREE parking! One of our high school classmates was visiting from Iowa, and we decided to go to The Lanai (food court) on the Mall Level. It's located at the Macy's wing on the Mauka (mountain side) of the mall. Everyone chose what they wanted to eat: burgers, dimsum, Garlic French Fries, musubi, etc. There are so many vendors here at this clean venue. I think it's less crowded than the Makai Market Food Court, and the convenient restroom is probably cleaner because there are maybe fewer users? Haha! I chose Ahi & Vegetable because I have been to their original location in Kalihi. I know that they have fresh fish and veggies! This time, I didn't want to eat rice, so I got the Imitation Crab Salad... not bad with cucumber and tobiko! The dressing was alright! Service was efficient and friendly! Picked up the eight piece nigiri sushi for lunch. No line today. The nigiri is kept in a refrigerated section and there are many choices. You can also have sushi, nigiri rice bowls, and bentos made to order. Area is nice and clean. Nice lady emphasized that the fish is fresh and never frozen! read more

I've tried a few things here including their nigiri and udon. It's hit or miss I'd say. But when it's a hit, like that one time I got 4 pieces of toro nigiri for a good price, I felt like I got a great bargain! Those toro were not chewy at all. The other time I went back to check and they didn't look as good - looked like the cut could be chewy so I didn't buy them. I'm hoping to run into some good toro again here! My son tried their udon twice and he liked it, well so did I. If you're in the lanai food court, don't forget to check out what they offer! read more

This place is in the Lanai Food Court of Ala Moana mall. Was here for a quick lunch and just grabbed a poke bowl of their fridge. I took the Salmon and Maguro Bowl with Brown Rice. Hmmm both fish are fresh but brown rice a bit tough to eat because it's cold. But for $14 no complaints. My husband bought the Spicy Salmon and Maguro Bowl with white rice. Although cold, it was not as bad as the brown rice. My son bought the Spicy Ahi with Rice and it was freshly prepared so it's good. Fish is fresh and that's all that matters. read more

I stopped by Ahi & Vegetable and was originally looking at the fresh sushi, but the staff pushed the daily special spicy ahi sumo bowl on me. The service seemed friendly at first, but in hindsight it felt dishonest -- like I was being steered toward something they knew wasn't fresh. The bowl itself was a complete disappointment. The poke was chopped into mush, the taste was inconsistent, and it had a mix of ocean funk and spoiled smell. Right after eating it, I ended up with a stomachache and what felt like food poisoning. At first, I thought maybe that's just how they prepare it, but after getting sick, I'm convinced something wasn't right. The "daily special" honestly feels like leftover poke that gets chopped up and sold cheap to move old product. The portion is big, but that doesn't matter when the quality is questionable and the food makes you sick. I would never recommend eating or buying from here. Save your money and your stomach. read more

I thought I reviewed this Ahi & vegetable at Ala Moana location before but I guess the Yelp ghost removed it lol. My wife wanted to eat salmon so I mentioned let's go to the food court near Macy since Ahi & vegetables is located there . I ordered her their Salmon Sashimi over sushi rice which she said it was fresh and taste like Buttah. For convenience I didn't want to order someplace else so I just picked up their pre-made bento . It was not bad for $10 Spam,Teri beef, 2 fried chicken drumsticks , fried fish and eggs with rice. Support local service is fast and friendly read more

Ahi and vegetable is one of my go-tos for poke bowls. I go to the kalihi location more often and it's a restaurant, unlike this location which is a take out counter in the lanai food court. The lanai food court in Ala Moana is definitely the more chic of the two food courts, but it is sometimes hard to find a table and there are a lot of good options. My friend and I decided on ahi and vegetable though and we both like their spicy ahi/ikura combo. I like the consistency and flavor of the spicy ahi and the choy sum banchan side is a nice complement. My one gripe is that the prices posted are not current. I think it was like 75 cents more expensive, which I guess isn't a big deal, but it's irritating when something costs more than what you were expecting it to cost. This is now like a $17 poke bowl. The service was decent and quick. I got a drink next door. I think I like trying other things when I am at alas, so idk if I'll be back soon. In fact, I'd probably go to the kalihi location again before I come back here. Also, I'm pretty sure Kirsten Titus from tiktok gets her sushi from here. Lol. read more

We're back ... when we at the mall about dinner time we head to ahi & vegetable, had my usual and it never disappoints. They also give us garlic sauce on the side for the ahi and salmon. Service is always good here, even if it's just a take out. read more
Ahi and Vegetable is a healthier option at the Lanai Ala Moana food court. I don't actually love their "vegetable" option though (raw fish over a very boring salad made exclusively of romaine and nothing else). I would recommend sticking with their rice bowls or nigiri. Their chirashi bowl was pretty tasty and fresh. The sushi rice was cooked well but could have used more seasoning as it tasted rather plain. All the fish is fresh, never frozen, which is great. Near closing time, their nigiri and bowls are $2 off, which is a nice way to save money at dinner. Compared to other poke/sashimi places I've had on the island, I'd give this 3.5 stars. read more
