Yay glad I found this place. This place is reasonably priced too. I got their garlic ahi plate which was yummy! Best to call in an order ahead of time because parking can be bit tough there.

Spicy ahi poke bowl. Small for $6.

To me it was nothing great. I mean does the poke taste as good as Alicia's or Tanioka's...NO. For $6 Ahi poke bowl it was a bit pricey. You can find better.

Food is delicious. Had the spicy ahi bowl and the lox and bagel. Also tried the matcha and pineapple freeze. Looking forward to try other things on their menu. Will most likely come back. They also have a number to call to facility your order (on the photo)

While walking around the Kewalo Basin Harbor, I noticed that there's a new vendor called Ahi On Da Wharf. It's located at the old Fisherman's Wharf area. Limited free parking. Reasonable prices. Note also that they sometimes sell fresh fish by the pound. I just tried their poke bowls (and they taste good) so I can't comment on their other stuff. Not sure what time they open but I know they close at 7 pm.

Wasn't expecting much from a new food truck but dang their stuff is soooo good!! Amazing freshest ahi steak I've ever had! And their special wharf fried sushi roll was to die for! Definitely did not disappoint ;)

Afrer bodyboarding in Waikiki, we stopped by food truck to get lunch. Ordered spicy poke donburi, spicy tuna rolls and chipotle fried chicken sandwich. It's awesome!! Very reasonable and so delicious. Gochisosama!!

I had a $5 salmon katsu bento. Nothing mind blowing, just cheap and decent. It's small but enough for a light meal.

Their poke bowls are spot on. Especially their spicy ahi poke is great. $6 so it won't break the bank. Their clam chowder is also ono.

Got the fish and chips. Took two bites and dumped it in the trash and my stomach was still upset the next day. Lesson learned.

A casual - order at the counter and get a number, find a table and they'll bring you your order - kind of restaurant. They made easy accommodations for my friend who has a dairy allergy and subbed oil for everything with butter. I got perfectly crispy fried shrimp. The fries were crispy, the soda is from a fountain (the best). We came here more times than I'd like to admit in a one week span - and each time we got a warm welcome from the staff who remembered us from the previous day. There's typically a line down the street by dinner time - so try to beat the rush!

I ordered the fish & chips with tartar and cocktail sauce, deep fried shrimp with cocktail sauce, and a side of onion rings with tartar sauce and everything exceeded my expectations. None of my food was excessively salty or greasy, the batter was flaky and not burnt to a crisp, and the fish itself wasn't at all undercooked. To top it all off, the lemons that I was provided with were fresh, which went well with all of my fish. The service was outstanding. I knew I was going to want to bring the food back to the air bnb after visiting Diamond Head earlier in the afternoon, but I wasn't sure if that was an option beforehand. When I called to inquire about this, I was politely told that I would simply need to place my order fifteen minutes in advance before pickup. Sure enough, I did just that, and my order was fresh and ready to go as soon as I went to pick it up fifteen minutes later. I didn't eat my food at Paia, but the atmosphere was very lively even on a Wednesday evening. The music wasn't so loud to the point you couldn't hear yourself think, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for patrons to choose from. That said, I would strongly recommend planning ahead because Paia gets seriously packed even fairly early in the day. When I picked my food up, it wasn't even 6 PM yet and there was already a line outside of the establishment. However, if you enjoy seafood the way I do, I can honestly say that the wait is worth it because everything that I did eat was perfect. In fact, I probably wouldn't mind waiting in line to get a sense of the atmosphere dining in the next time I visit Honolulu.

Very polite, excellent customer service, and good salesmen lol. Still in the same location, in the heart of Chinatown, in maunakea marketplace, food court side. I ordered the pampano, wife ordered the red snapper, and we was talking about the blue crabs and the guys heard, and did a good job selling it to us. The thing is, they only sold the crabs in a big bulk, like pan size. 2 fish plates, and a pan of crab came out to $100 ish?! I think. Is that a good deal? Idk. lol. Wish they sold it in like 1, 2, or 3 crabs at a time in smaller portions lol. Anyways, this experience was good. They actually went down and picked our fishes for us, but I think the original experience is you go down, pick/buy your own fish, and then bring it up and have them cook it? But even better that they go down to the fish market, grab the fish for you that way no need stress about picking your fish lol Anyway, man they provided a lot of sides, the wife and I, got a side each of scoop of Mac salad, Kim chee cucumber, and Kim chee daikon? To me, they were pretty big portions for sides lol so they served these sides to us first. Yes, and the boys served it to our table. And then served us our food. I think I wanted my fish a little bit more crispier, but was still good. Finally got my pampano fix, and wife really liked her red snapper. I didn't try the crab. Wife said crab was okay. One thing I have to point out is flies. Eating in the food court, for me, personally, no can enjoy eating with flies around. I got to eat and enjoy enough to get full. We were hungry. And we just brought the rest of our food home that we never finish and the pan of crab. Shared it with my father in law. All in all, great experience. 10/10 recommend. Would we come here again? Yes. I have to frickn try the garlic fried noodles, and the wife said she'd definitely go back for her snapper fix again. Go check em out guys!
