The vibe? Immaculate. Think warm lighting, gorgeous bar seating, and just enough "I'm chic but effortless" energy. The kind of place where you accidentally stay way longer than planned. The food? Delicious across the board -- and definitely made for sharing (or pretending to share while guarding your favorites ). Every dish felt thoughtful and flavorful without trying too hard. The spread platter is a must. Shrimp was yummy-- wish more came with the dish. Lamb was succulent. Chicken kabob was grilled to perfection. Manti was yummy. I loved the baklava. And can we talk about the hibiscus spritz?? Beautifully balanced, refreshing, and dangerously easy to keep ordering. She's pretty and she delivers. 10/10 would return for the ambiance, the bites, and a little sip-sip moment

Was so eager to try bottomless brunch here because I love Mediterranean menus but this one ended up being very underwhelming. For the food, taste just wasn't there across the board. The best thing were the chicken skewers. We upgraded to the premium drinks and was glad we did because the margaritas and strawberry vodka ones were fan favorites amongst the table. Was advised by a bartender to not order the gin lavender one and they were right because it was horrible. Very limited dessert options but the donuts tasted like pure oil, not enjoyable. Service could've been more efficient, we had to ask for someone to come so we could put in more orders multiple times. We were a larger party so I get it can be kind of chaotic but still would've been nice to have more attentiveness. Probably won't return here but glad for the experience.

Came here for brunch and wow, everything exceeded expectations. The appetizers were incredible, especially the labneh, hummus, and baba ghanouj, all packed with flavor. My favorite dish was the lamb shoulder, it was so juicy and so tender. The flatbreads were also a great addition to the table. For dessert, the lokma and fruit platter were the perfect, light way to end the meal. It was pretty busy around brunch time that it was kind of hard to have a proper conversation. Still, definitely worth it for the food alone.

Omg the food is amazing. The vegiterian options are chefs kiss too. The care that the food is given you taste in every bite. I suggest coming with a big group because it is perfect for a big meal. Service was very intentional and quick too.

I came for restaurant week Jan 2026. The space is gorgeous esp for a date night but the food is a little bland and missed the mark for me. I recommend going for happy hour as the prices are about 50% less than they are on the dinner menu. First Course: - Trio Sampler Plate: 6/10. The pita is dry and I wish I saved the dips to go with the main course. Second Course: - Gavurdagi Salad: 5/10. Watered down. Do not recommend. - Mücver: 5/10. Similar to a Latke. It was dry and I wouldn't have been able to swallow it if it weren't for the sauce! Third Course: - Börek: 9/10. Reminded me of spanakopita just in egg roll form. If you're a charcuterie queen you'll love the tomato marmalade. - Mixed Mushrooms: 8/10. My man loved these but he doesn't have much of a diverse palette. I thought they were just okay. Fourth Course: - Köfte: 5/10. They might as well slapped some hamburger patties on the plate. I regret not getting the cauliflower or chicken tinga instead. - Branzino: 9/10 It was good but the fillet was a little thin leaving me wanting more.

I've been hearing about Agora and wanted to give them a try. I enjoyed the atmosphere and sitting on the balcony overlooking the restaurant. My server was also attentive and kind. Overall the food was fresh and cooked very well. The pita bread was a 10/10. I also enjoyed the cauliflower and the balance of sweet and savory it had. However, the lentils and branzino lacked some flavor. I would rate Agora a 3.8 if I could

I wanted to come to this place for a long time and I wasn't entirely impressed. I love Mediterranean food, but this spot just fell short. The spreads sampler was good and the lamb was certainly the star of the show. Also, honorable mention to the cheese which was amazing! The rice was interesting, not bad but also not good. Most of it was hard, so that was disappointing. The beef dumplings were also hard and didn't have a lot of flavor. Luckily, dessert was awesome. The pistacho dessert was surprisingly delicious. I'd go back just to have that. The place is super cute and a great spot for some cute selfies, but I'm still not sold on the food here. I think I'd try it again to give them a second chance, but I've had better Mediterranean food in the city.

I came here with a few friends one Saturday evening, and we had a great dining experience. Everything tasted absolutely amazing. We started with the sampler spread, which included smaller portions of all the spreads. It was enough to share among the four of us, and they are very generous when it comes to the pitas. For my drink I ordered the hibiscus spritz, and for food, I ordered the Borek, the Branzino, and a side sauce of the toum. I loved everything, but the branzino was probably one of the best I've had. It was lightly seasoned, properly marinated, and grilled enough to not taste dry. We also ordered dessert. I really enjoyed the Turkish baklava and the Isparta rose ice cream. They complemented each other well.

One of my favorite places for Mediterranean in all of DC. Upon entering, you're greeted with the warmest, most elegant decor and ambiance. The wait staff immediately lends you their undivided attention and care, which is the perfect lead-in to such an exceptional dining experience. I got the prawns and branzino, which were both cooked to perfection, and ended with the oh so delicious baklava dessert. I can't wait to be back!

We went for bottomless brunch. For $50 you get unlimited food and unlimited mimosas or bloody Mary's. The waiter came by pretty often to refill out drinks and check what other food we wanted. All of us were so full by the time we left. Everything was amazing. The place was very cute. We sat outside and it was a little dark, but we asked the staff if we could turn on the lights and they did for us.

we came here for brunch and it was very good. The atmosphere was very nice and chill. We did we did all or you can eat brunch. It was super busy, but our waiter and waitresses were super tentative. The food came out pretty fast when we ordered, and it was tapas of style. I would definitely come here again. It was very good.

Unbeatable brunch experience with stellar service. Highly recommend benching out and trying anything on the bottomless menu. Great heated and covered patio, also great for groups!

We hosted our staff retreat dinner here and everyone pretty much loved everything they gave us to eat and to drink, including the mocktails. The pita bread is probably the best i have ever tried. It comes out warm, soft and very tasty. The hummus is also good and the desserts were also really great. The space is a bit small but we had a group of about 30 people and we did okay. The drinks were nicely presented & tasted great! I would certainly return & recommend for anyone who enjoys Mediterranean food.

Are the heated tents still an option for outdoor seating?

    Yes

    Are dogs allowed on patio?

Hi Meghan, yes we allow for dogs on the patio, however, we encourage guests with bigger dogs (mastiffs, saint Bernard's, great Danes; dogs of this size) , to refrain from bringing them as we have limitations due to our COVID seating arrangements.…

Is the patio seating enclosed or open air now?

    Open air with heat lamps.

My birthday is coming up and I was wondering if they do table reservations for about 10 people or more. Is the space minimal?

Hi, I went to brunch there for a friend's birthday and it was 10+ people. Upstairs is spacious and they'll be able to get you a table for your party as long as you call ahead of time and make reservation! Hope this helps :)

It's also very noisy,to the point where it was hard to hear everyone at our table and our server had a hard time hearing us. They probably need to update their soundproofing or just have fewer tables. That actually led to some confusion about the "for the table" lamb dish we ordered, which seemed to come out as sliced lamb, seasoned as described on the menu, on a plate. Frankly, for the price it didnt seem like enough for our group of 6. Also, there were 2-3 flies around our table before we sat down. The restaurant itself is stunning. Walking in, you're immediately greeted by the massive open hearth where much of the cooking happens. Watching the chefs tend the fire throughout the evening adds another layer to the experience and sets the tone before your first bite even arrives. Our server explained the tasting menu ($95 per person) and optional wine pairing ($75 pp), but we decided to order à la carte--and I wouldn't change a thing. We started with the Carrot Havuç spread. It was impossibly light, silky, and beautifully whipped. I'll admit, the bread seemed understated at first, but after the first bite, it became clear that the spread was meant to be the star. Every bite was packed with flavor. The lamb shish kebab was incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The Omani shrimp arrived with five enormous shrimp that were cooked flawlessly. Then came the whole roasted chicken. Watching it roast over the fire as we entered made us excited, but nothing prepared us for how incredible it would taste. It was, without question, some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. Moist, deeply flavorful, beautifully seasoned, and delicious completely on its own. It came with an accompanying sauce that was excellent, but honestly, use it sparingly--you don't want anything distracting from the chicken itself. When a dish can stand entirely on its own, that's greatness. Since it was a whole chicken, we happily went home with leftovers (which felt like winning the lottery). The cocktails deserve their own standing ovation. A special thank you to Nancy upstairs-- Great bartenders don't just make drinks--they elevate the entire experience, and she certainly did. The Serpent was beautifully balanced with bright citrus and herbal notes, while the Medina Palmer was refreshing, unique, and one of the most memorable cocktails I've had in a long time. Every drink felt carefully crafted rather than simply mixed. In the beginning of our night they asked if we were celebrating anything and I immediately answered, "my friend graduated from nursing school." Little did we know, they came with glasses of bubbly at the end of our dining experience to celebrate! Such a lovely gesture to end our evening. The word that kept coming up throughout dinner was divine. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about guiding us through the menu. A few practical tips: * Reservations book well in advance, so plan ahead. * Street parking is limited. We chose to Uber and were glad we did. This was one of those meals where every course made us look at each other and say, "Wow." I can't wait to return.
