EXCELLENT! From the pre booking to cashing out. I sent an email first with my questions and received a response in maybe less than 12 hours. The only time slot that was close to my needs was 5-7pm. However, I do not get home from work until 6 and this was a last minute move. I gave them a call and they moved it to 6 for me with no hassle! Let me not forget that I booked this like 2 days ahead. Very accommodating for last minute needs. The movers let me know they were on their way. They arrived early! We pulled in at the same time. Dez and Marquice introduced their selves, they bared with me as I was still packing. I gave them their assignment and they were on the go. They barely needed my assistance or instructions! I was nervous about a table not fitting and they made it work! They were very relaxed, professional, and funny. It was as if I already knew them and they were just friends helping me move. When we got to my storage unit, it was smaller than expected so they shifted the entire thing for me without complaining and got all my belongings in the unit and made sure I could get to what I needed. Not only was it cheap/affordable, but the two gentlemen who packed our stuff were very kind and respectful, easy to communicate with, and knew how to get their work done the right way. Because the move was so much cheaper, we were able to leave them a tip, which they very proudly earned for their hard work. We were able to get everything moved in about 2 hours total, as promised! I had never heard of Affordable Movers prior to doing a Google search. There were several recent reviews that were praising the company for the quality, timeliness, and cost of their moves. I gave them a try and was very satisfied. When compared to other moving companies, the only negative that I felt was that there wasn't a lot of communication in advance of the move. This isn't necessarily a negative, but other companies have you watch videos or give you checklists and emails to go through. Affordable Movers gives you a phone number to call with questions and a reminder text. Leading up to the move, the lack of communication left me feeling a little uneasy, but the quality of their work speaks for itself. We had the absolute best experience with Lee and Nick. After All My Sons left us hanging I booked Affordable Movers less than 12 hours before we needed them. They showed up on time and immediately got to work. We had rented a uhaul and they helped us rearrange to maximize our space in order to fit as much as possible. All of our furniture, boxes and belongings were handled carefully and treated as if they owned them. They were polite, professional, knowledgeable and didn't stop working until we were all finished. We couldn't recommend Lee and Nick enough; they were an absolute life saver, a fantastic team and made our stressful situation infinitely better. I had a very positive experience with Affordable Movers! We live in an apartment and needed to have the furniture in the Living room moved to the garage so new carpet could be installed. After the carpet was finished we needed the furniture moved back in again. Affordable showed up on time and quickly removed everything. They were VERY careful not to scratch anything. They showed up as scheduled on Wed, carpet was installed on Thurs, and Affordable was there again on Friday to help me put it all back together again on time!! Chris & Guan (probably got that wrong) did an amazing job taking care of anything I wanted extra care given too, even items I did not they handled like they were theirs. These guys never stopped moving the entire time! I was only expecting to need them for two hours but once there Chris knew right away it was a longer job and he stayed until the job was complete. Excellent Movers! Let me preface this by saying this is our 11th move in 25 years. By far Chris and Josh were the best. We have had furniture broken and scratched by other name brand movers. Today, every piece of furniture was wrapped in blankets and plastic. It was loaded with care like a jigsaw puzzle and delivered in perfect condition. Our movers, Zac and Dakota, arrived on time and worked straight through loading the truck. They were very careful to squeeze in everything they could into the truck.
