Scheduled a move and they cancelled it 2 weeks before because the invoice wasn't paid prior to their service. There was no notice or call before cancelling and the conversation I had with the person did not state I needed to pay the invoice to complete the service. When I called to inquire about the sudden email cancellation, I was notified my date was no longer available. read more

We used People First Moving to get all the furniture out of our first floor so we can have new flooring installed. We had them move everything out of a bedroom, living room, and a large dining room hutch, and into our garage. They took very good care of everything they moved! That part of the job took less than 45 minutes. We also needed to move a couch, love seat, and chair down to our daughter's house in No. Kentucky. They covered the furniture in plastic, and loaded and strapped in into our trailer. They followed us down to her house, unloaded the trailer, and placed the furniture where she wanted it to go. They also moved a recliner upstairs to another room. They were quick to respond, polite, eager to please, and extremely careful with everything. We are going to hire them again to put the furniture back in place when the time comes. We highly recommend People First! read more

We used People First Moving Service for my Mom's bedroom set and a few other items. My mom passed away last year and I was concerned about the care the movers would take with her furniture. I didn't want the furniture damaged or either home damaged. I am old enough and the furniture heavy enough that I couldnt move it safety. Brian and Allen arrived early and were great. They communicated and worked together to ensure the move was safe. They also took exceptional care of my Mom's furniture. They loaded the furniture and made use off blankets and ropes to protect and secure it for the move. The unloading process was smooth as well. They even moved a couple of items in my home at the last minute. The whole process took less than two hours. Please note you will need to rent your own truck or a have vehicle for the move and blankets,rope etc. People First provides labor only and there is a two hour minimum. Brian and Allen also wore masks and gloves throughout the move without being asked and without complaint. I appreciated that as my wife and I are older. All that said i highly recommend Peoples First Moving and especially Brian and Allen. I will definitely use them again and ask for Brian and Allen for future moves and will recommend them to friends and family. read more
