HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My husband and I are renovating the second story of our home, but between my bad knees and my husband's bad back, we make pathetic furniture movers. I found Monumental Moving on Craigslist and did a quick business search on Ohio's government website to make sure it was legitimately registered. I called Jamie, and found her to be personable and professional. She was able to schedule me fairly quickly. When the two-person crew arrived, I was impressed with what I will call their "likability" factor. They treated me and each other with respect. They took great care with my furniture and appliances, navigating tight turns and a narrow stairwell without damaging walls or the woodwork. They clearly work well together, take pride in their work and in their customers' satisfaction, and finished the job quickly--at least 3 times faster than we could have done it even if we weren't broken old military veterans! I could not recommend this company more. If you are in Cincinnati and looking to move, this is the company to use. They are responsive, flexible, willing to work with your situation, professional, nice, funny, and most of all hard working. Jamie, Rob and one of their team members helped pack up our 3 bedroom apartment in two and a half hours. They worked the entire time, nonstop. We were still packing a bit when they first got there and they worked right around us. Our apartment is also on the second floor with a landing in the middle of the stairway. This was no issue for them and they made moving out look easy. With all of the furniture/junk we have, this is no simple feat. They then loaded our 26 foot truck from back to front, floor to ceiling. Once the truck was loaded we took it five hours north to Chicago and nothing moved throughout the trip. Nothing fell, nothing broke, nothing was harmed. I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Monumental Moving! From start to finish, Rob and his team--Brandon and Rell--went above and beyond. Not only did they offer great pricing, but their professionalism and work ethic really stood out. They made quick work of moving all my items, including some heavy and tricky pieces like my electronic queen-size bed. Rob and his crew were absolutely, hands down, the best movers I've ever worked with! I had three massive U-Box storage pods that had been in storage for months after a cross-country move and they unloaded and moved everything (all 150+ boxes and some furniture) in record time. They all had amazing attitudes, fun personalities and really treated all of my belongings like their own. They were smiling and happy even as they had to trudge up to my 3rd floor with super heavy boxes. I had a fridge that I wanted down in my basement and honestly, they were magicians when it came to getting it down the stairs - it was honestly like they were moving ninjas. Rob and Jamie are awesome and so easy to work with!! I contacted them to load and unload my moving truck for a move that was ~10 minutes away. When I scheduled them, I asked if they could arrive shortly after I picked the truck up. Rob let me know they had a move already scheduled for the first half of the day and they could be there in the early afternoon and that he'd touch base with me to keep me updated on the time. That was fine with me because it gave me more time to pack. They kept me updated on the status of their eta throughout the day and I really appreciated that. Once Jamie and 2 guys arrived, they got right to work. She felt bad about showing up so late so she called Rob and two more guys in - our truck was loaded in an hour and unloaded in a half hour!! Monumental Moving is an excellent way to move. Rob is quick to respond to all questions you may have. Monumental Moving is extremely customer friendly. For $30/hr per man it is a deal that is hard to beat. You do have to provide your own truck but the cost to do that plus the hourly rate for Monumental Moving is way less expensive than a traditional moving service. No need to worry, they are fully insured and they provide all of their own equipment. They made sure that our items were protected and handled with care. Rob and his crew were amazing! We needed some furniture moved from our apartments to our new home and they were a great fit! We didn't need a huge truck, 4 men and 4 hours of time. We simply needed the muscles and moving expertise to get a dresser with mirror, 2 chests of drawers, a pub table and miscellaneous other smaller furniture out of a 3rd floor apartment and a basement apartment and moved to our new home's upstairs bedroom. I reached out to Monumental Moving for a recent move. I've never hired movers before so I was nervous about cost and quality. I found Monumental on Craigslist, advertising $30/hr/man and BYOTruck. Rob, the owner, was very easy to deal with. Although I had original booked two movers for 3 hours, Rob showed up with two others and completed it in two hours for he same total cost. He's a guy that knows his business and I can't believe how efficient and hard working his crew was, and Rob went above and beyond to handle a few issues that cropped up due to my fault during the move. Monumental Moving was the perfect choice for me and my moving needs. We were getting hardwoods installed and needed furniture moved from one area of the house to another. I was recommended Monumental Moving by my parents who used them a few years ago. Jamie was so nice and responsive and worked with me all THREE times I had to change my move date! These guys are awesome. I suck at Tetris and generally don't have spacial awareness. So, we ordered a POD for a 4 bedroom move. Rob was like "not gonna work." He was convincing, I could tell he knew what was up. We changed our whole moving strategy based on his recommendation and guidance. It couldn't have been better. The crew showed up and didn't stop. We had Monumental move a 2-bedroom apartment full of possessions for my brother on Jan 28, 2019. It was our first use of them and they were: On time, courteous and detail-oriented. We contracted for 2 men for 3 hrs each, and are super-happy that the short-distance move [less than a mile] was completed on-time with no mishaps! We used them for a move we had this past week. they were efficient and worked straight through. they were on time and worked with our schedule. we only used them for two hours but they moved all our stuff in those 2 hours without any complaints. they had a hard job to with getting a refrigerator down steps. That wasn't easy. they had to move most of our items down or up steps and they did a wonderful job. Rob and his friend did an EXCELLENT job for us this past weekend. Very punctual and professional. He answered all our questions. He was on time and worked fast! He was very considerate when moving our things like not slamming fragile stuff down. They even laid a blanked down by the front door so they wouldn't get our carpets dirty - SO considerate!
