It's a busy building in the morning, so give yourself some time to make it to the elevators and head up to the 14th floor where you walk into a serene world immediately. The sight, smell, and sound of the spa immediately draws you in. After settling in, I had the most amazing Salt Facial at Honolulu Spa & Wellness with the owner. I do not get facials regularly because I tend to leave the salon with sensitive skin that's all blotchy and red from the chemicals that were used. But getting a Salt Facial is so much different! No chemicals were used and the results were amazing. The salt used is a natural antibacterial and antimicrobial agent so my skin was not irritated one bit in the process. I learned this is one of the few places offering this service, so definitely take advantage of them having this service. The procedure started by cleansing my face and neck first. Then the Salt Facial followed with her using a wand that used all natural sea salt resurfacing to prep my skin for the next stages. I thought it was going to hurt for some reason , but it didn't at all and just felt like a deep exfoliation. I then had an aesthetic ultrasound to nourish and increase circulation of my skin, which helped whatever she used to get deeper into my skin. The next step was where I could really feel the treatment doing its job, and that was the LED light therapy! I did that for a couple of minutes and could feel my skin getting its natural glow back. The last part of my experience here was a hydrating face mask that I didn't even know I needed. The whole process felt so fast but gave such great results. My skin feels brighter and tighter, especially around my under-eye and cheeks where I felt like my skin was sagging a bit. I could just feel my skin was softer and had reduced the bumpiness in some areas that were affected by acne in the past. All in all a great experience and a facial I recommend to anyone that wants a natural approach to getting one. I am sensitive to chemicals and often left waiting for results after a couple of days, but with the Salt Facial results were immediate. Try it for yourself and thank me later that you did!

We arrived before our appointment time and filled out their forms. We each had our own room/skin care specialist. The comfortable spa table is prepped with a little steamer to get your face ready for treatment. The HydraFacial machine was explained to me. She also stated that if the process felt uncomfortable, I could alert her to adjust the pressure. The procedure helped to clean, exfoliate, and remove impurities from my skin. She then applied a serum of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The final application was sunscreen. While the untrained eye, probably couldn't SEE a difference after the HydraFacial, I could certainly FEEL the difference. Clean, fresh, and super rejuvenated! As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area. If you've never had a massage inside your mouth, try it! This helps to relax jaw muscles and many TMJ patients use this. Honey, you are worth it! Whether a special occasion or just because. They have many options in their menu of services. They also sell products to compliment all your skin care needs. God blessed you with the skin you're in, this is a great way to maintain it :)

Kyong was gracious and took time with me before starting to hear my concerns and explain her recommended treatments. My hour and a half treatment was very relaxing but thorough. Best of all I actually saw immediate results from this one time series of treatments. Wrinkles and lines were less pronounced and my skin had a healthy glow. I highly recommend MK Skin Renew and intend to make an appointment with Kyong when we come back next Jan

It felt less like customer service and more like pressure. When I arrived, the front desk employee took photos of my face before I was immediately sent into a treatment room. There was no meaningful consultation about my individual skin concerns or what treatment would be appropriate for me, and the photos didn't appear to serve any purpose during the facial. The facial itself was pleasant, and I was genuinely open to hearing about their treatments. I was offered a package of 12 Turbo X facials with skincare products for $1,800. I thanked the associate and said I needed time to think about it. That's when the attitude noticeably changed. The warmth and friendliness disappeared, and I was given a very dismissive goodbye. I completely understand that selling packages is part of the business. What I don't appreciate is feeling valued only when I'm ready to spend money. During…read morethat time, I tried several other aesthetic providers, and it only reinforced what I already knew: Dr. Yew is truly in a league of his own. He is professional, knowledgeable, caring, approachable, and has a great sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease. He takes the time to answer every question honestly and always recommends what is in your best interest rather than what will generate the biggest bill. There are never long waiting times, and his team consistently goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service and the best value possible. One thing I've learned from visiting other clinics is that attractive promotions don't always translate into quality care. Many places will impress you during your first visit, only for the experience to decline afterward--long waits, inconsistent pricing, questionable treatment amounts, and results that simply don't deliver. I've seen it all. What sets Dr. Yew apart is that he combines medical expertise with artistic talent. Having a degree doesn't automatically make someone exceptional at what they do. In aesthetics, technical knowledge is only half the equation--the other half is artistry. Dr. Yew has both. He understands balance, proportion, and natural-looking results better than anyone I've encountered. Every time I leave his office, I look refreshed, never overdone. About a week later, I catch my reflection and wonder how I managed to look five years younger. After experiencing many providers over the years, I can confidently say this: if your face matters to you, don't shop for the cheapest deal--shop for the best hands. For me, that's Dr. Yew. I'm so glad to be back. Thank you, Dr. Yew!
