Checked out their listings and saw a super clean Vic with relatively low miles and low idle hours. Went to the dealership and met Antonio, who let me test drive it and I instantly fell in love. It was my first time financing a vehicle and Antonio helped me out and was able to get a loan through my credit union. Was super easy and quick. Would definitely recommend CarSmart and Antonio for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

I went in with bad credit hoping that this dealership would finance me a p71 crown victoria. I didn't have high hopes because of my credit situation but, I still gave it a shit anyways. I didn't beat around the bush and neither did they. It took about 3 days in order to try to get a deal worked out for me and they went to every avenue and every corner to try to make this happen for me which let's be honest, a lot of places would have given up on me a long time ago. I get it, an old cop car through most banks would not qualify for financing BUT, it's the car that I wanted. Antonio brought me in sat me and my wife down and laid it all out on the table with nothing to hide and I not only appreciate that but, I respect that as well. That has to be the absolute fastest I've EVER gotten a car from any dealership ever! There were no hidden fees, no bs and no drama. I am beyond Appreciative for Antonio taking the time explain everything to me and my wife and for having the patience to deal with us. If you want not only a beautiful looking p71 BUT, an extremely dependable one and well that hasn't been beat to hell, this is definitely the place to go. I stand on that!

As a follow-up to my earlier review, I wanted to share an update…read more In addition to the cosmetic issues I originally mentioned, which were promptly addressed, I later discovered a discrepancy between the tire standards reflected in CarMax's public-facing 125-point inspection and the measurement process being used in practice. That is something I believe should be clarified for future customers. After I raised my concerns and provided supporting documentation, including Tesla's official OEM tire replacement guidance, management approved replacement of all four tires. Of course, I would have preferred brand-name replacements, but I felt this was a fair resolution and decided to move forward. To their credit, Manuel, Brandon, and the service team at CarMax Burbank handled my concerns professionally, and I appreciate that management ultimately chose to make it right. My constructive suggestion is simple: CarMax should clarify the tire standards listed under its 125-point inspection so they accurately reflect the measurement process being used. That would help prevent unnecessary confusion for future customers. I'd also strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a vehicle take detailed photos of the car on the day of purchase, and again before any service visit, in case questions come up later.

If you are bringing your vehicle to CarMax Riverside for service, please be aware. My experience…read morewith this location has been the most unprofessional, frustrating, and careless service I've ever dealt with in the automotive industry. I picked up my transfer vehicle and immediately noticed cosmetic imperfections. CarMax chose to treat them under warranty, but once I got home, I found pinholes in the paint, a broken left taillight, and the start/stop service light on. I sent photos, and they scheduled me for the following week, saying they needed to "verify" the damage because they didn't trust their own service department. After inspecting the vehicle, they told me the taillight was on backorder, even though another dealer had it in stock. They insisted they had to use their local vendor. I dropped the car off the following Thursday. By Tuesday, they called saying the part was defective and needed to be reordered. They also said they couldn't handle the cosmetic work and would have to sublet it out. When I picked up the vehicle, the service advisor, Steven, gave me an excuse--but I immediately noticed they had installed a broken, used taillight. They scheduled me again. When I returned, they said the sublet shop had taken care of everything. That was not true. Upon pickup, I found new scratches and a dent. Steven said he would notify a manager. I called back and spoke with Bryan, who claimed he had multiple vendors who could fix the scratches and PDR the dent. I told him the scratches were too deep, but he insisted someone could handle it. I trusted him. The next day, I picked up the car--nothing was fixed, more damage was added from poor workmanship, and now my check engine light was on. I contacted corporate. Ariel promised a call the next day. No one called. I escalated to her manager, Dani. I told them I wanted the vehicle repaired at a certified shop because CarMax clearly didn't know what they were doing. They kept insisting I bring it back to the same location that kept damaging it. I called again and spoke with another manager, Rick, who said he could take me in--but not for nine days--even though I had already been there three times. He also admitted Steven and Bryan only told him about the warranty issue, not the damage their shop caused. Corporate was no help. I eventually reached the LGM, Tony. I explained the situation, the poor communication, and the fraudulent behavior. He said he would speak with Rick. They called me back and asked me to bring the vehicle in so they could "see the damage"--a full month after I purchased it. When I arrived, there was a man standing with his arms crossed like loss prevention. It turned out to be Bryan, the same manager who ignored my calls for five days. During the walk‑around, Rick immediately took an arrogant tone and told me, "It's a used vehicle, it will have scratches." I explained the damage occurred while the vehicle was in their possession. He claimed they had signs saying they weren't responsible for damage--signs meant for customers browsing the lot, not for service vehicles. He then asked how I knew the damage happened there. I asked why they attempted to fix it if they didn't cause it. He said it was "a courtesy." Their "courtesy" caused even more damage. When I tried speaking to Tony, he stayed silent while Rick dominated the conversation. Bryan then inserted himself, accusing me of being aggressive. When I told him he needed to be demoted, he became hostile, breathing heavily, and had to be physically held back by the other managers while threatening me. In the end, they told me I could either drop the vehicle off again for the check engine light or pay my deductible and go elsewhere. It has now been a month, and no one has called me back regarding the damage they caused, despite promising they would. CarMax Riverside has shown zero accountability, poor workmanship, dishonest communication, and unprofessional behavior from multiple managers. Rick needs training or demotion, Tony needs to retire, and Bryan should not be in a management position at all. Bunch of clowns.

Bought a Genesis coupe 1 year ago from them. Went to…read moreinspect it and everything seemed fine. Did notice the wheel locks on the vehicle and I was told the lock was inside the car. Decided to buy the car the next day and did mention the lock again to Jawad , the person who attended me. I was assured that the lock was inside the vehicle. It's my part my fault for trusting them with it and not looking myself but there was in fact no lock. Had to pay to get them removed which was the first issue. $50+ per tire so total of 200$ to get em removed. 2 days later after having the car parked , I was going to take it out to use and noticed the brakes were not grabbing like the first day I bought it. Checked the brake level and it for some reason was not existent. There was none in the reservoir. Filled it up again and almost had a close call later that day. Checked again and all the liquid was gone in the matter of 2-3 hours of it parked. A vehicle with less than 20 miles of being bought had brake issues already ??? Had it checked out and the reservoir was leaking all the oil out. The reservoir was not original which means it was replaced before and they didn't install it correctly. They assured me as well that their in home mechanic checks every vehicle to make sure they are in working order. My life could have been ended due to a fault vehicle bought from their dealership. $300+ for that job... The wheel lock was not much of an issue but brakes .... Total paid in the first 3 days of owning the vehicle was $500+ dollars for stuff that shouldn't even be an issue if they do what they say they do. Don't buy from this dealership if you admire your own life. Don't trust their lies. Not worth it.

Sold Me a Faulty Car - Zero Accountability…read more I purchased a Scion FR-S from Jawad Baloch at Skyline Auto Group, and it has been a complete disaster from day one. On the way home from the dealership, the rear bumper nearly completely detached on the freeway due to it not being secured properly. That should've been my first red flag. After returning the car for repairs, I received it back only to immediately be stranded on the freeway again--this time because the gas gauge wasn't reading properly and I unknowingly ran out of gas. This car has put me in unsafe situations multiple times now, and it was supposedly "ready to drive" when I bought it. To make matters worse, my license plates--which were inside the vehicle when it was dropped off for service--were missing when the car was returned. It's been a month now and multiple attempts to contact the dealership, and I have been completely ignored. No one is responding. I had to file a police report as stolen just for any hope to get my license plates back. As if that wasn't enough, the car now has a check engine light and multiple diagnostic codes, including: * P0455 - Large EVAP system leak (so far we know the fuel pump completely gave out and the car was rapidly leaking gas.) * U0122 - Lost communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module * U0140 - Lost communication with Body Control Module * U0073 - Control Module Communication Bus A Off These aren't minor issues--these are critical electronic communication errors that affect the safety and functionality of the vehicle. The fact that this car was sold in this condition is absolutely unacceptable. Do not trust this dealership. Their cars are unsafe, their service is nonexistent, and they take no responsibility once the sale is done. I wish I had never done business with Skyline Auto Group.

The entire process was easy, transparent, and genuinely stress-free. Their no-pressure, no-haggle approach was a breath of fresh air. No sales tactics, no awkward negotiations, and no feeling like you have to earn a black belt in bargaining just to buy a car. Edmund was fantastic from start to finish. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He made us feel comfortable, answered every question, and never once made us feel pressured into anything. That's a rare find these days. Then we met with Paul in finance. Having grown up with family in the car business, I came in asking probably more questions than the average customer. Instead of getting frustrated, Paul was patient, understanding, and completely transparent every step of the way. He took the time to explain everything, never rushed us, and made sure we were comfortable before signing anything. That kind of honesty and professionalism goes a long way. This was hands down one of the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experiences I've had. If you're looking for a dealership that treats you like a person instead of a sales quota, Hertz Car Sales Riverside is it. 10/10. Five stars. I'd happily recommend them to friends and family.
