Riverside provides very complete information about the cars it sells - more than most sites - so you aren't forced to call, etc to get what you need. Riverside is directly connected to Dutton Cadillac so "used car dealer anxiety" wasn't an issue. We flew down and bought the car sight unseen, then drove it home on a 1600-mile road trip. I had a great buying experience with Riverside Direct Auto. Jamie is the salesperson who helped me out and I have to say, his service was top notch. Their no haggle aggressive pricing saves you lot of time and money. I recently purchased my dream car, a 2016 Nissan GTR from them in February 2019, and it was a breeze. I wanted to test drive the vehicle and it was a non issue, unlike another dealer (Shift Cars LA) who wanted me to prove I could pay for the car before they would let me test drive it. They lost my business with that crap. The only reason I was at Riverside Direct Auto for a while was because they were looking for competitive financing for me. They work with a lot of finance companies so you should be able to find good rates, which they were able to find for me (4.44% with tier 2, they have even better rates for tier 1). The vehicle was in great shape too. You can tell they only pick the best vehicles to sell to their customers. Their facility is outstanding. It is very modern looking and upscale. My vehicle had low mileage and just your usual minor used vehicle paint blemishes. I immediately put a clear bra and ceramic coating on it. The service didn't end there. Jamie ordered a front plate bracket for me because the previous owner didn't have a front plate (required in California). He later noticed you would have to drill in the bumper to mount the plate, so he researched a tow hook front license plate mount for me, which I ended up purchasing later. About a week or so later, I realized my vehicle did not have the owners manual in it. Jamie ordered the owners manual for me and had it shipped to me. I appreciated his service and I know he will treat you the same. I would highly recommend you purchase a vehicle from them. read more

Contacted Elliott Barber and Jamie Shelton about a mobility van given our dire situation with a terminal disease. Made an appointment for 1:15 pm. Drove 80 miles with cash to purchase the mobility van. Show up and was greeted by first name. Next sentence? Oh we are running the credit of these folks over here cause they want to purchase the car too. Worse part? He says this with a smile on his face. We ask him why would you not call us? Why would you have us come in?? His answer? Oh they just walked in ten minutes ago. No apologies. No professionalism. No follow-up. Just made a dying person come down for a fake appointment. I think this is a good dealership. They sold me a wonderful BMW convertible. They don't come down on price so don't expect them to move very much from the advertised price. Because they're a separate dealership from the Cadillac dealer, where they get most of their trade-ins that they sell, they don't provide any warranty not even the 1,000 mile one month warranty that is state law. They only handle premium cars at this dealership. They check the car over to make sure you're getting a good running car. You can charge the first $5,000 to a credit card if you're trying to get frequent flyer miles. They arranged shipping of the car to my home on the westside of Los Angeles. They provide reasonable financing options. I can recommend this dealership. read more

Riverside Direct Auto (RDA); These folks just don't get it. A "good" deal is one in which the customer does not have to wear "buyer beware" on their sleeve, because transparency and sales integrity are the cornerstone to customer service and equitable transactions. A "good" deal is one in which: (i) the "mechanical inspection" for a vehicle on their lot is provided; (ii) the dealer is transparent about any damage to the product; (iii) and, a good deal is one in which the dealer remedies their mistake as a priority, instead of spending time covering themselves with out of context communication. The fact of the matter is RDA did Not provide a mechanical inspection report they claimed was completed, despite my repeated request in writing; there was no mention by RDA of any possible or actual damage to their product, which was obvious and exposed after the vehicle was taken to an independent dealer to be inspected; and, when given the opportunity to repair the vehicle's shortcomings they attempted to increase the price or pass the buck! These are incredulous business practices, for any company, but particularly for an online no haggle car company. Ask yourself, besides pecking away in an attempt to cover themselves, have they actually remedied the vehicle for the next potential customer, have they changed the condition description to let customers know about the damage, have they changed the cost based on the transparency of an independent inspection? Time to take a hard look at the values which RDA's building their brand upon. My advice, run don't walk from this group. read more

As an out of state buyer they could have just as easily not have spent the time to deal w/ me as opposed to a local buyer but both the GM Dave and sales associate Tim were VERY attentive to my questions over the phone. Fair is fair, if you want to stay with first come first serve in physical form rather than a commitment you made with us over the phone. The key here is people need to know that your word means nothing and we wasted an entire day in crappy 91 freeway trying to get to your business only to find out you've moved on to another customer without even a courtesy text saying hey somebody showed up, just wanted to let you know they are filling out a loan application in case you hadn't left yet. But you're so selfish that you wanted us to wait the entire evening. Yes you texted us four hours later letting us know that you were still waiting on loan docs. Do you really think that we were going to sit at Starbucks and hang out in Riverside only to find out at 9 PM their loan went through? It's just bad business. And people need to know about it. If I saw what you did to me and my wife on yelp review I would choose to move on to another dealership. People need to know you are a selfish owner. I have ALS. I bought a 2017 Jeep Cherokee. The salesman Jamie informed me that they serviced the Jeep oil & filter changed, vehicle washed/detailed, air filter replaced, cabin air filter replaced/cleaned, alignment performed...I decided to check to Cabin air filter to see if it was replaced or cleaned... to my surprise there was no FILTER..I then checked the air filter DIRTY never been replaced...terrible service department.. My husband and I purchased our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hard Rock vehicle from here and were so pleasantly surprised with our wonderful experience. We had been searching and looking at this kind of vehicle for awhile and had terrible experiences at Bravo in Alhambra and Pacific Auto sales in Upland in which what they had printed online magically disappeared when we drove out to see them. The salesman here, Jamie was very considerate of our needs and after our first contact with him took and sent us videos of the vehicle we saw online as well as another one which was comparable so we could see exactly what features were in the vehicles and also that they were there! Another important part of our experience was there was no need to haggle over the price as we already had searched comps in the area and theirs was the lowest. Elliot also helped us get the lowest short term financing available. When we asked if the manual was left by the previous owner and it was discovered that it hadn't been, Jamie offered to purchase one and mail it to us. The customer service didn't end with the sale either. When we got home we noticed that the vehicle's description online listed a storage bag for the roof panels but we hadn't found it in the vehicle. When we called to inquire about this they checked their storage area and when they didn't find one, they again purchased one for us and will be mailing it home. You can better believe we are happy customers who will check here FIRST the next time we need another vehicle! read more
